What
a
great
new
addition
to
the
neighborhood!
This
little
gem
only
opened
less
than
a
week
ago,
and
when
I
visited
on
day
3,
things
were
already
running
smoothly
and
seamlessly,
and
I
can
definitely
see
myself
coming
back
again
and
again.
Focus
is
on
wine
and
tinned
fish
&
seafood.
The
latter
might
be
a
little
intimidating
for
some,
but
I
grew
up
in
Europe,
so
I'm
a
huge
fan
and
was
happy
to
see
some
dishes
on
the
menu
that
brought
back
fond
childhood
memories.
The
food
is
served
kind
of
charcuterie
board
style
in
their
original
packaging
and
it
makes
it
all
feel
so
cozy
and
relaxed;
share
a
bottle
and
have
your
own
little
tasting
adventure
mixing
and
matching
items
from
their
50+
different
offerings
of
fishy
deliciousness!
All
served
by
warm
and
welcoming
staff,
the
service
was
top
notch
and
just
perfectly
attentive.
It's
the
perfect
date
night
spot,
be
it
a
first
date
or
a
let's
get
out
of
the
house
kinda
date.
In
other
parts
of
the
city,
I
can
see
this
kinda
place
being
a
bit
too
hipstery
and
pretentious,
but
this
dtla
spot
felt
the
complete
opposite;
just
tasty
libations
with
a
laid
back,
inviting
and
unpretentious
atmosphere.
We
ordered
the
tuna
paté,
French
mackerel
in
,
smoked
trout
in
sweet
wine
brine
and
Danish
smoked
trout
in
juniper
(my
favorite
of
the
night).
We
added
some
gruyére
as
well,
and
there
was
bread,
butter,
crackers
and
olives.
I'm
very
picky
with
my
bread,
but
this
bread
was
lush
and
warm.
I
had
a
hard
enough
time
deciding
which
dishes
to
order,
so
went
simple
with
the
drinks
and
had
their
chilled
red
wine
on
tap
and
their
sour
beer,
both
were
perfect
accompaniment
for
the
food.
Warmly
recommend
a
visit,
this
place
is
a
unique
little
DTLA
treasure.
