One
of
the
mysterious
rainforest
in
the
Philippines.
There
are
many
beliefs
in
this
forest
but
one
thing
I'm
sure
of
it
is
one
of
the
beautiful
forest.
It
is
also
known
as
Maria
Makiling
named
after
the
fairy
which
is
said
to
be
the
generous
and
beautiful
guardian
of
this
forest.
Generous
because
she
offers
refuge
to
tired
hunters
and
helps
collects
firewood
on
old
ladies
where
she
slips
gold
nuggets
sometimes.
There's
a
lot
of
stories
about
her
which
is
passed
down
from
generation
to
generation.
She
has
a
rich
vegetation
even
she
has
a
lot
of
visitors
mainly
mountaineers,
trail
runners,
and
pilgrimers.
She
is
already
considered
as
protected
area
so
when
going
there
you
need
to
register
on
the
camp
at
her
feet
and
take
a
guide
with
you
for
your
safety
as
well
as
for
her
conservation.
Went
here
for
the
birthday
climb
of
my
sister
and
brother
in
law
which
they
considered
as
one
of
the
memorable
experience
due
to
its
beauty
as
well
difficulty.
The
trail
to
its
peak
is
not
suggested
for
beginners
since
it
has
technical
parts
like
some
small
rappelling
and
a
long
walk.
Always
observe
the
Leave
No
Trace
discipline
for
its
conservation
when
you
visit
her.
