The beach that actually goes all the way and merges with Playa de las Americas and even goes as far as edje The distance is quite short between the beaches and they are full of bathers. There is activity and music mainly in the morning which includes bathing activities. And inflatable facilities at sea. A variety of restaurants and kiosks. To the south is Playa De Los Tarajales Beach This beach is behind Comet electronics mall. There is also the market on Sundays and Tuesdays. The beach is relatively deserted to Los Cristianos. So this beach can suit those who are looking for peace and quiet. Parking is close to Picha Parking

Los Cristianos Beach is located in the municipality of Arona in the town of Los Cristianos, in the south of the island of Tenerife, and next to the seaport that bears the same name as the town. The beach has fine golden sand, ideal for lying on and sunbathing, although if you prefer you can also hire a sun lounger and parasol. As well as being an "Accessible Beach", with access ramps to the sand, reserved parking, showers and walkways for people with reduced mobility, this beach is one of the favourite places for families, both for its calm waters and for the sports facilities it offers. Among its facilities you can find several volleyball nets, as well as a sailing school and a diving school just a few minutes' walk away.

Good selection of local restaurants. Lots of local produce. Nice clean promenade and a very clean and child friendly beach. Lots of English restaurants if this is what is wanted, particularly good for children who miss their home comforts. Negatives are the forceful hardsell, pushy owners wanting your custom and the constant sellers of sunglasses, watches and blankets. Be forceful back and they will leave you alone. Boat excursions and water sports aplenty.

Playa Los Cristianos - This is a good beach on the South of Tenerife. In front beach there's port where you can see the ferries coming and going to La Gomera/La Palma/El Hierro. It has all the same facilities as the other beaches in the area but is closer to the town centre and bars and restaurants. The beach is really clean and with the nice walkway, running alongside and plenty of seating, you can enjoy the beach without having to get the sand between your toes. Very comfortable with kids.

Beautiful city, and friendly place full of sun, welcoming restaurants and clear blue skies! Recommend for a cheap get away! And just a general explore and travel experience - a lot of developments still being made but no sound of construction to be heard anywhere
