I wouldn’t even rate this place a 1. We waited 20 minutes to be seated when the place was empty. We then proceeded not to be even asked for a drink until 30 minutes after being seated. Wrong drinks came - and the drinks that we did order that came were absolutely vile. 50 minutes later, our starters arrived - with our main courses. We asked for the mains to be sent back and we want them after our starters (obviously). My partner walked to the bathroom and walked by the kitchen to see our food sitting on the grill, to be kept warm. After being there from 9pm, now at 11pm before our mains came. We asked the waiter can we cancel the main courses, as we had two small children who we wanted to get home, we were then met with a very aggressive male manager who didn’t even apologise once, and was aggressively insisting we pay the full bill. As we had two small children, we felt pressured to pay for the meal in order not to cause a scene and we were already feeling disgusted with the staffs attitude and temperament. Our bill was just under €150 for 4 people - €150 worth of food that had to be takeaway. The worst possible food I’ve ever eaten, rudest staff, I would advise people NEVER to eat here. There is a lot to be said when someone can just say sorry for the service etc. I’ve uploaded pictures of our meal that we couldn’t even stomach. This was supposed to be a burger and fajitas. I’ve also placed a picture of our food that was left on the grill. Disgusting.

We had a very good time! We ordered the nachos con carne (be prepared as the portion is for two peope and even so, it's huge!), tacos and enchiladas. The food was really nice, best nachos we ever had! The servers were very nice, helpful and engaged in lovely conversation and jokes.

I chose the chicken quesadilla to start and then the black angus burger. For desert I had the quesillo. All very generous sizes and all so very tasty. Service was good and the food did not take long to arrive.

The worst place I think I’ve ever eaten! Food was awful and dry. Nachos the worst I’ve ever seen, I ordered the Mac and cheese which was massive bits of pasta with just melted cheese on. Chips were soggy and weird. The waiter stank of BO and then when I politely told a different waiter the food was inedible he was aggressive and hostile with me. Avoid this place at all costs!

I’d like to say I’m somewhat of a nacho connoisseur. I read the menu on the way up the stairs and decided, swiftly, that I would be having the nachos. The nachos arrived and I ate them. The plate was taken away. We paid our fee and departed the restaurant - pleasantly satisfied. If you like nachos, look farther none, for these are the greatest nachos on this street. (They’re genuinely very nice)

The food is amazing and workers are extremely nice. It's on a perfect place to see the beauty of this street. Everything is home cooked and extremely good.

The service was both good and bad. We were greeted by an amazing woman who was nothing but joy and kindness, but unfortunately the service lost stars because there were also two male waiters serving us at the table who were just simply rude and grumpy. As an example we ordered two pineapple juices for the kids and got apple instead, and when we kindly mentioned it the waiter slammed the glasses on the table and stormed away. Got us the pineapple juice, but charged us for both in the end. But, the food was good and we didn't have to wait long. Other then that, the place looked good, the restrooms were clean and nothing to complain about foodvise. Got a kind greeting when we were leaving from the woman we met in the beginning, and I really would say she owns those three stars for service all by herself. Would have been five if the others hadn't been in the picture. Wish I would know her name, but hopefully she knows who she is if she reads this and was working the evening of April 13th.

We came here last night with our 1 year old and already can’t wait to come back. Nachos & Steak Fajitas were amazing and even our baby loves his fish and chips! All the staff were happy and chatty especially Francis, i’d highly recommend! :-)

The best Mexican I’ve ever had! Each course just got better and better. Would recommend to anyone staying in Playa de las Americas! We just cannot get enough of this place. Every time we come to Tenerife, we have to visit at least twice, if not three times. The cheesy nachos and the tacos are to die for!!! The nachos are just pure bliss. Cheesy, crunchy, delicious. As for the chicken tacos, the chicken is literally like butter, full of juicy flavour and just melts in the mouth. I see a lot of not great reviews on this place, and I just can’t wrap my head around it at all. Maybe it’s just certain dishes that disappoint? But each time myself and my partner come here, we order the same every time because it is just so good. You have to try for yourself!

Great place very clean and presentable. We ordered the the fillet steak asked for medium and it came out more or less blue, the waiter was very unwilling to return it to the kitchen and insisted I had it this way.... I absolutely get a fillet is best at medium rare however this was still mooing! And I wanted it how I wanted it! Apart from that can't fault the place a little more expensive then what's around locally, maybe would return again.

Had a very poor experience at this place last night. The starters came out quickly, but my mothers was stone cold and they took so long to reheat it we did not eat together. When the main meal arrived my mothers food was cold again and none of the food arrived together. Many other people were also returning food as it was cold or they were becoming frustrated as they were receiving their meals a long time before/ after the rest of their group. The biggest issue of the night, was my partners main meal did not arrive at all! There was no waiting staff who we could grab to ask where his meal was. When it came to try and pay we could not grab any staff as the restaurant was catering for far more people than it could cope with. I spent €170 on a meal for four and there was no apology for the issues which we had. I will say the food I did have was nice though. Due to the poor service and missing meal, I would not come back here again.

An absolutely amazing service and great food! The lady at front of house was so warming and our waiter Francis made the entire experience. Staff were all so happy to help and absolutely nothing was too big an ask. Will definitely be back for more 🙂

I've visit this place every time I come to Tenerife. I've never had a bad meal...in fact, I'd go as far as saying that their Angus Burger is the best on the island. Especially the double with Bacon and Cheese. Ignore the bad reviews, the portions are large and the prices are reasonable. Enjoy!

Nestled in the heart of the touristy main strip, this Tex-Mex gem defies the typical mediocrity found in tourist-centric spots. From the first bite, it's clear this place takes its Tex-Mex seriously. The flavors are bold, and each dish is a tasteful blend of authenticity and innovation. What sets this restaurant apart, though, is not just the outstanding food but also the warm, genuine service. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. Amidst the tourist hustle, this Tex-Mex spot stands out as a beacon of flavorful authenticity and exceptional service.

Loved this place, the ambience, service and the food. Service was amazing, special mention to Esperanza and Fede who were absolutely lovely, 5* service, very relaxed, welcoming, had us laughing from the moment we arrived. Also the manager, was super attentive, and made us feel at home as soon as we stepped in the restaurant. Food is very tasty, and very very filling!

Very bad food. Even the mojito was not nice. The chicken tacos were very wet and the guacamole was very spicy en not like guacamole at all. On the chicken tacos there were no vegetables only some lost onions. Don’t recommend this at all. Also the staff don’t check on you. We wanted the bill en we waited for 15 minutes before anyone noticed us. Avoid this place like the plague.

This Restaurant offers lots of different meals and everything was absolutely delicious. The price is definitely worth the food. Most meals are between 10 and 20 Euro and the portions are big. If you are looking for romantic atmosphere, friendly staff and good food you are absolutely right there!

A beautiful meal to celebrate our engagement. Both the food and the service were great. The portion sizes were very generous too.

Got the nachos with beef, chicken tacos, beef fajita for 2 adults and a 2 year old.. It was quite sufficient. 4 stars because the service was a little bit slow. Apart from that very delicious food 👍

If I could put 0 stars I would. Absolutely terrible service with incredibly rude and ignorant staff. Added to this, the food was absolutely diabolical. Starters all fine, the real disaster began when the mains arrived. Waited an hour and 20 mins for our meals, 8 of us eating. Of the 8 of us eating, the meals came out in phases and not all together. 5 of us had steak, and 4 of them had to be returned due to being over cooked. We all asked for medium rare and all of the steaks were >well done. The other orders were burger x2 and ribs. The ribs came out with the steaks however the burgers took another 40 minutes after the initial steaks were served to come out! We all sent our steaks back and asked them again to make it medium rare, during this time they sent out the sauces for the steak, which all turned cold and had a skin on the top by the time the new steaks arrived. One of the sauces was supposed to be mushroom, and ended up as peppercorn which the rude staff insisted was mushroom. The results of the new steaks were a mix between medium well and blue (fillet - see photo). The burgers arrived AFTER the second set of steaks arrived, a total of 2 hours after initially ordering. Whilst waiting 2 hours for our meal, we asked for another round of drinks, which either arrived full of ice (not great in a beer), or never arrived at all. Service was very slow and inattentive. The real chaos came at the end of the meal, when we informed the staff we wouldn’t be paying full price for the shambolic meals. Of the 8 mains served, only 1 dish was fully eaten. A woman dish runner (who claimed to be a manager) began arguing that the peppercorn sauce was mushroom etc before asking for back up from another ‘manager’. The other manager, who couldn’t keep up with his own lies, told me that my blue fillet steak was ‘medium rare in Spanish’, and whilst I pointed out my friends over cooked burger (again, supposed to be medium rare), he argued that there was nothing wrong with it. He then lied through his back teeth saying he was a trained chef and that the food was perfect!!! He then insisted that we paid in full or he’d call the police. So much for the customer is always right! Would’ve had absolutely no qualms paying full price if the food was actually as advertised/as ordered, but this absolutely shambolic restaurant will surely close down soon with service and food as bad as this. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs - a terrible end to our last night in the canaries.

Good but not great food, huge portions & friendly staff. Was expecting more veggie tapas options. Deserve 3.5 stars, not 3, but google doesn't allow half stars so 3 it is.

Decided on El Embrujo as a choice for some local specialities. Service was friendly but rather slow; couples are generally placed away from the main serving area, making it that larger groups get served more frequently as the evening progresses. Food was good, though nothing special. The options for vegetarians are relatively broad, given that you can choose from several side dishes as well.

We have gone there for traditional Spanish food. Kids loved the Gazpacho soup, Papas Bravas and Croquetts. For dessert Crema Catalana was a hit. Great food but the drink I ordered had hardly any alcohol.

Good food and as we ate our meals flamenco dancing was the entertainment for the evening. The dancing and singing were very enjoyable. Partially open to the elements , which could be a problem for some people during cooler weather.
