sis and I stopped into the LG diner early Fri night for a turkey burger, and as always, the place didn't disappoint. yummy burgers and fries. they have excellent shakes as well. we had an awesome top notch waitress which made the experience even better. they have recently added an outside patio area which will be great for the warmer weather. we will be back for sure!

Can’t remember the last time I was here, but decided to stop in for a late lunch. We sat at the counter and got service asap. It was great. The food was quick and hot, and they had everything we asked for. Perfect medium rare burger with veggies. Fries have a tasty crispness and I asked for bbq sauce on the side, it was delish. I love locally owned restaurants, and this joint has been around for decades. Kinda quiet on this Monday afternoon, but I hope more folks find this place and support local. Very cool spot to bring the kids for sure, and great diner with milkshakes and diner style coffee….mmm just what my soul needed.

This was terrific as a little traditional 50s diner. Little parking lot on the side. Staff was very nice. I think the potato salad side was awesome. My companion liked the cole slaw side. My club sandwich had great ingredients but the bread was a little dry. My companion’s chicken salad was tasty but she also took hers off the dry bread. Not sure if more Mayo would help but I’ll ask for that next time.

We used to stop here all the time, years ago. We were on our way to the mt. Winery for a show, and stopped in for late lunch or early dinner. Still a great place, prices have gone a bit up .

I love this place. I’m 16 and I love the 50s lifestyle and this restaurant really feels like I’m living it. The food is amazing and the service is very spot on. Couldn’t be any better. Thank you so much for making this place.

We use to LOVE this place, but, the food is getting saltier and saltier. Yesterday, we both ordered the hot roast beef sandwich, and neither one of us could eat more than a few bites. It was un edible. Completely. Most restaurants would give us a choice of having those taken off the bill or replaced with something else, nope, no and no. So I am very sad to cross this off our list from now on.

Great diner, amazing staff and fantastic food. We had our brunch there and ordered a kids burger, a California Omelette and a Popeye Omelette. The house coffee was great as well. Great Service overall..

Interesting venue with old-style decorations and vintage artifacts. Good service and delicious food!

This retro styled diner transports you to the 50s, and they do it well. The milkshakes and floats were awesome. We got the brunch burger and it was pretty tasty, but I did not like my fried chicken and waffle. Would go again just for the milkshakes though! And to maybe try some of the other delicious sounding things on their menu b

Stopped in here with my family for brunch and the place was like a time capsule. Lots of retro deco from the 50’s. The food was divine! all fresh ingredients and just delightful. We had moons over hash, joes scramble and silver dollar pancakes. The coffee also was really really smooth. Weird that a diner could really enhance my breakfast experience but this place was amazing. We will be back and thank you for the friendly service!!

My recent visit to this cafe marked my second attempt to give it a chance, hoping for a better experience than the first. Unfortunately, the outcome left much to be desired. I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich and the soup of the day. While my sandwich was satisfactory, the same cannot be said for the soup, which disappointed both in presentation and taste. However, my friend's experience was less than ideal. He ordered the cheeseburger club sandwich, but upon inspection, it was evident that the beef had been poorly cooked and emitted an unpleasant odor. It seemed like the meat had gone bad before it even made its way to the grill. We brought this issue to the attention of our server, expecting some form of resolution. Regrettably, her response was a simple apology, and nothing more. She didn't offer any alternatives, such as a complimentary dessert or the removal of the subpar sandwich from the bill. The lack of effort to address the problem left us disappointed and feeling undervalued as customers. Despite our attempt to give this place a second chance, it seems that our experience remains unsatisfactory. The lack of proactive measures to rectify the situation leaves us hesitant to return, as it appears our concerns were not genuinely acknowledged or addressed.

Homemade minestrone soup. Fish and chips were delicious and there was enough to share. Hamburgers were great and gigantic. Got to swing dance with one of the waitresses.

We love this 50s style diner. The food is fast delicious and fresh. The service is great; we always ask for "bacon extra crispy" or "please substitute fruit for my toast" and it always comes exactly how we ordered it. Sometimes you may have to be a little more patient; like most post COVID restaurants, they are short staffed, but everyone is very hard working! This is place is a "regular" in our rotation, and a "favorite" for my mom, who grew up in the 1950s.

We went for breakfast, took over 40 minutes to be seated and another 45 minutes to an hour to be served. Once we were served our food the waitress claimed they didn’t have biscuits and gravy so offered to give us toast instead, well the owner refused to comp half the meal because they offered us 2 slices of toast instead of the biscuits and gravy….super unpleasant and the food wasn’t that good to begin with. We won’t be going back.

While on a road trip Google maps diverted our route due to an accident on the hwy. We stopped at the diner. It's super cute, the food was good, staff was friendly. Service was a bit slow and the food was expensive. Nothing was less than $18.

Food and atmosphere was great! Had outdoor seating as well. If you're from NJ/NY as I am, be descriptive in ordering. If you want bacon, ask for it. In California, everything is turkey bacon and substitute vegan stuff not like what we're used too.

Good service from our waitress. Lot of foods. We order Egg Benedict. Not bad, not spectacular. Just average Benefits. Would not drive from S. San Jose to Ls Gatos for breakfast but if we around will stop by again. . Good decorating dinning room

Great breakfast. Great atmosphere. The price was a little more than I anticipated but then again it's Los Gatos... Can only imagine the rent on the building... Despite that the portion was generous! We each left with enough for lunch the same day. Good and Friendly service. I'd come back.

I had an ENORMOUS club salad. My folks had a turkey club. The accompanying split pea soup was thick and rich Lots of fun atmosphere and music. Great family place!

Fantastic service! Attentive, genuine, helpful, and never intrusive. I ordered the turkey dinner. Serving size just right (I couldn't finish my plate but there wasn't so much leftover that I felt the need for a box). The seasonal veg on the side was so fresh and perfectly cooked and also perfectly seasoned. I could have made an entire meal out of that. Stuffing was awesome and definitely tasted homemade, solid mashed potatoes, good gravy although it tasted like an instant gravy mix instead of homemade. The turkey was moist, but sliced thin so I felt like I was being served sandwich-sliced deli meat (the kind made with a "solution"). A really good turkey dinner is hard to come by. This turkey dinner is probably one of the top 5 I've ever had. Will absolutely return and recommend this place. The menu is really good, so picking just one thing was hard. They have a canopy over the outdoor dining patio, so even though it was a hot day, it was appropriately shady and comfortable. Not as busy as I expected for a Saturday at noon, easy to find parking in the small lot and no waiting for a table.
