Racist establishment. They were staring at us hard like and mean mugging us through the car as we parked and as we walked up they didn’t even give us the chance to show our IDs before telling us they weren’t going to let us in, as if they judged us based off our looks. When asked why we couldn’t go in they said we have the right to refuse service to anybody. We had a party of 5 and all U.S. Marines visiting from out of town, which we told them and all they said was we don’t care. I understand they have the right to refuse service to anybody but without even knowing us or interacting with us what other reason would the refuse service to us? Poor attitude from the bouncers. Overall left a bad taste in my mouth for Albuquerque from a visitor.

We used to love riding over to Billy’s. But the last two visits, a couple months apart, absolutely horrible service. We like sitting on the indoor patio and the service was great until this year. Very slow response by the server and no effort to satisfy requests. Got my drink completely wrong, and she didn’t even bother to offer to remake it at the bar but I had to do it at the table. The chips have been overcooked they last two visits as well. The food was great except for the chips. Management needs to do something with the staff. Please seriously do an evaluation of these reviews and make some changes.

I should have read the recent reviews before coming here. Actually, the service was great. The food used to be good. however, now the green chile double cheeseburger is terrible. The meat is like 2 balls, not pressed into the grill to crust and likely not even grilled. I think the cook just put the meat, cheese, tomato and lettuce on the raw burger and shoved all of it in the oven to cook. It was dry and overcooked and the veggies were obviously cooked and soggy, very little green Chile. It did not look at all like the yummy photos Ben posted in 2018, which is the reason I came here for the burger. I could only choke down half and brought the other half home to my dogs. 1pm 11/30/21

This place is very hard to review with some major pros and major cons. First the pros: It has an amazing draft beer selection of 80+ drafts. It also has really good food, all day breakfast, top notch bourbon and scotches, a wide assortment of tequilas, and some nice rums, gins, and vodkas. The cons: Service is slow. It's not unfriendly, but not welcoming either. The bartenders, servers, and guards are cool individually but lack attentiveness to patrons. The customers here don't know how to act in public and occasionally fight with the staff and each other. This place has potential to be 5 stars but until the staff is better at customer service and the regulars here stop being jerks, this is a 3 star establishment.

2 stars for me. Never been here. Meet a good friend of mine here for lunch. The girls are friendly by a little on the wait time for drinks and they space out on what you ask for. Lol but it is what it is!

Went over for my birthday 6/18/22. I wouldn't even give this place a star. One of the worst birthday experiences ever. Terrible service, messed up orders. One of the bartenders was the worse woman ive ever met. She was rude, confrontational, and contemptuous. I wouldnt leave my dog there. Zero stars and hope they go under! Sucks for the business owner.

I came in for a couple drinks cuz I've had a terrible week. I have my service dog but I forgot her leash and service jacket. I notice the patio doesn't have a server so I ask if can purchase 2 drinks, cash out immediately and sit outside so I don't bother others, they say yes but while I wait I have 5 DIFFERENT workers tell me I can't have a dog, mind you I'm standing near the door, holding my dog. So I move to another location (since they didn't want me there) still waiting for my drinks, I keep getting approached- never once did I sit, relax, set my things down, rest my feet, lower my dog, put my purse down or allow myself any type of comfort. I only stood there awaiting my drinks but for some reason EVERYONE had to come up to me and tell me I wasn't allowed to be there when not even one time did I ask to be sat inside. The hostility and rudeness I felt was unnecessary. This is one of my favorite places to go but when I'm treated like I'm an annoyance when there is literally not another person in sight is upsetting and saddening to me, if I bother the staff so much Than I'd rather not go here. I just dont understand what had changed. Everyone else in town doesn't have a problem. I guess just Billy's.

Just a work of complete deuce complex created by the mask of a great bar actually run by the bouncers. These uneducated dunces leaving people outside based on their looks or their personality. Truth be known, racism runs rampant here. Don’t arrive if unless you are a doctor or Someone of importance. Also never come alone. This is eugenics in Albuquerque. Find another bar .

When we sat at a table it still needed to be cleaned waitress came over cleaned the table didn't come back to our table for 20 minutes, only reason she came back was cause we had a stare down....she said she thought we were the previous guest.... Yeah ok, she asked if we were ready to order never had a menu, I just ordered nachos beer. Food arrived different waitress, with no plates etc. we asked another waitress for the items seemed like we annoyed her for even asking. Our waitress never came back to see if our food arrived. Had to ask the other waitress for the ticket again who was annoyed with us already for asking for plates.

I didn’t enjoy time spent here. Food smelt gross and looked just Blegh. No one including staff was wearing masks so if you’re concerned definitely don’t go here. Took forever to get table service, staff is definitely not prepared for success which in turn creates stressed b*tchy customer service. Took 2 hours to correct her error of not giving me my card and correct check! Yet, I was the “asshole” that kept having to remind her. Overall experience was super agitating and disgusting.

My favorite place to get drinks in ABQ! Bartenders are all young, beautiful women. The girls wear what they want which creates a welcoming sense of familiarity. Amanda is a charisma bomb and I ask for her by name. Fabulous Palomas! Monique makes exciting and unique tequila drinks. Drinks are served in real glasses. This adds elegance to an otherwise casual atmosphere. Never too crowded, never too loud. The food is phenomenal and the menu is impressive. I recommend the Breaded Mushrooms with Buffalo sauce and the Indian Taco. Wide selection of liquors to fit a variety of tastes and budgets. The Three Olives Loops Vodka was a dealer’s choice that pleasantly surprised me. Adult fruit loops! The closer you sit to the bar, the faster your service will be. This is common sense.

DONT COME HERE ITS TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Me and my boyfriend came here tonight. He worked a 12 hour shift we live 5 mins away and I wanted to get a drink and some food with him. Service was terrible I think the only person who cared about our drinks and food was the manager he’s great but their staff is terrible. My boyfriend ordered a burger and there was even a hair in it and he didn’t wanna say anything cause he was so hungry and tired just wanted to go home. Never coming back here. Only the manager was able to get our food and drinks to us and the one person who asked us how we were doing

Last time we were at Billy's it was an amazing experience. Tonight was extremely different. We went to the bar and stood at the end of the bar waiting for over 10 minutes to order. Then my friend accidentally wrote the tip on the wrong receipt. The waitress dressed in all lace came up to our table and asked who the card belonged to. When my friend said it was hers, the bartender in all lace stated very rudely "Even if you're not gonna tip, you still have to fill this out." My friend apologized and showed she wrote the tip on the customer copy instead of the merchant copy. All of a sudden the bartender changes her attitude and says "oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see that one." We didn't even get asked if we wanted to keep our tab open, which we did. She just cashed us out and walked away. I've been in the service industry a long time and I have never come across someone so rude. I understand it's annoying to not be tipped (but you actually did get tipped) but to be so rude to a customer, this was our 2nd time here and we won't be back.

The only reason I’m giving it a one star is because the Bartenders are super friendly. Other than that BAD. BUGS, ROACHES, and THE DAY MANAGER IS SUPER CREEPY! I’ve loved coming here in the recent years but recently has gone down bad.

Was not at all good!! I had a table of 4 and we went in loved the atmosphere! We saw a table of 3 walk out.. they warned us in advance but, we stayed waiting for about 10 mins and no waitress, no waiter greeted us... time went on and another 20 mins went on and still nobody greeted us! So, we all moved to the bar top and sat down hoping we get service.. but to a huge surprise 10 mins went by and no one said anything to us! So, we saw a few workers talking got their attention and said may we order and the young lady said yes give me a second walked away! We waited for another 15 mins and decided to walk out! I don't recommend this restaurant/bar!

Please listen to all the reviews of how horrible the service is and how awful the bartenders are. One of the male bartenders called our friend a name last night and upon calling to talk to the manager about it they mocked us and refused to let us talk to someone. I was completely sober and dumbfounded by how disrespectful this guy was. I do feel bad for the business owner because this has potential.

Sad to see a place fo so far downhill. Last couple of visits have been bad. The first bad one started out with the security guy telling me multiple times I didn't have to wear my mask even when I told him I wanted to keep it on he repeated himself, . This was in the middle of the last waive of covid. Me and my friends sat down and ordered food. The waitress was rude and the food was not good. She hardly came over to us to give refills or get others that were drinking more drinks. This last time we went same bouncer is at the door with a poor attitude and just awful tone when he speaks to incoming customers. We sat at the bar. The bar tender had to ask us several times what we ordered. She still forgot one of the drinks. She gave one of the groups a regular coke instead of a diet coke and this person is diabetic. Some of the staff will completely ignore you. They just don't seem to care.

If your not white, your not welcomed. This is my experience. I am Indigenous from here, and I've been here a few times and regret it. Hoping each time would be different, but the service we received was not pleasant. The wait staff were not friendly because of our race and they show it. I would not recommend this place if your not European American. There are plenty enough places to go besides Billy's.

We waited on any form of acknowledgement from staff for nearly ten minutes, even asked a customer where we should order because the bar back wouldn't even tell us. He said they will come to you, and she finally did. We ordered our two drinks and waited another 5-10 minutes, getting handed the tab immediately without even asking if we wanted to keep it open. I totally filled the check out wrong, my bad, apologized to her but not before her coming out and rudely saying "Even if you aren't going to tip you still need to fill this out " I'm sorry I wrote on the wrong receipt but I didn't feel like that was a necessary comment. I did tip. Needless to say I won't be coming back to a bar where we felt unwelcome.

Went there Sunday and had 2 martinis was charged $7.25 each great bartenders and great atmosphere, decided to go again on Monday had 2 martinis and was charged $14.50 each, the bartender did not have much personality. We asked why were charged for 4 martinis she said because they were doubles. We had more in our glass the night before for half the cost.

The food is great, but the service isn’t. I went there twice and all of the tables near the bar were dirty, and it took a while for the waitress to get to us. We even switched sections of the restaurant and no one acknowledged us. If you aren’t someone who goes there often like other people then be prepared to wait.

The women helpers are PHENOMENAL! However, a Caucasian male that is MAYBE 5’8”, has a red haired beard, is a “thick” (overweight) individual that is balding has been VERY rude to the staff - tonight alone he told a customer “she’s not in a good mood right now, but tonight she’s doing to be my b***h.” He is condescending and does not treat people as they’re humans. If these are the type of people this establishment employs, than no one should be finding this business. (the 5 star rating is for the Women employees)

Overpriced food, watered down liquor, slow service and they close at midnight on a Friday. All of this could be forgiven if I could have more than four drinks.

Great bar atmosphere. Currently a little under staffed. Took awhile for service but the girls were all very friendly and helpful.

They have a 4 drink limit. This means you get cut off at 4 drinks no matter your sobriety, which is remarkable for a sports bar. I wish I knew this before paying for an Uber trip across town.

They had a good cocktail called the Manana and the bartender offered to make it differently since they were out of the main liquor. It still tasted great! I got a half order of nachos and they were okay, still a huge portion if you want to share with someone. It had a nice bar atmosphere and I'd probably come here again. The bartenders were pretty nice all around.

Med burger was well done, extra crispy fries were cooked per normal. Gave 2 stars because the chili has a nice flavor. Disappointed

Maybe you all need more help! Or people that don’t forget that they took your order!!! Waited over an hour for 2 burgers! Finally I asked if our food was ready and she says o what did your order!!!

$6 for a German tap beer (Paulaner Salvator) on a Tuesday…not bad! Not crowded, peaceful! Will definitely return for your specials.

Absolutely the worst bar in ABQ! Was refused entry because the bouncer said my friend snatched his ID back (which he did not). Bouncer was obviously high on something and told us we can either get the F out or meet him outside, we looked at him in disbelief and he completely lost his mind yelling and walking outside trying to fight us. He came back in and spit directly on my friend, he acted this way in front of the managers, other staff and customers. Both me and my friend are not aggressive, we never said anything insulting or anything to antagonize him whatsoever. He just completely lost is mind!

Been coming here for months and this was the 1st time we had the worst service and food. Ordered the huevos rancheros and the beans were raw and potatoes were burnt. Mt girlfriends taquitos we're old and stale and beer was warm. If your thinking about coming here my advise is to make anU turn and go to Hooters!!!

Good option for food in the evening when everything else is closed. Lots of options for drinks and food. It had a nice covered patio with misters.

Hi I never got a chance to try the food because some employee walked up to us and refused my service dog! Its practically outside so I did not see a reason we could not stay. We are ubering right now we we tired and hot. We walked to hooters they welcomed us with open arms.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered Billy's burger with a Bloody Mary. Good food/drinks, friendly, attentive service, and cool atmosphere. Gotta try the ghost pepper burger sometime!

This place has excellent food, best bar food I would say. Drinks are always good but food is better. Thank you always keeping me satisfied. Highly recommend.

Every time I come to Billys I get good service and cold beer. The Teriyaki boneless wings are absolute FIRE! Best wings in Albuquerque! Thanks, Billys you never disappoint.

Sorry didn’t get any pics! Was to dark in this place I had too time on my flashlight on my phone to read the menu and the service is soooooooo slow so good luck. Took us over 45mins to an hour to come out. I was soooo hungry and drinks refill was slow too , the place wasn’t that busy , everyone was at the bar drinking or playing pool . The food was great! I enjoyed their burgers and frys .
