Been wanting to visit since our move back to NM last year, as well as seeing it on Better Call Saul, finally made it there yesterday for breakfast. Burrito with sausage, Christmas version, looked too big to finish, but I consumed it all without slowing down. Wait staff was prompt and attentive. No disappointments, can highly recommend.

Finally made it here and it was great! Authentic New Mexican food, friendly staff and the 50’s vibe. Sat in the booth Bob Odenkirk sat in for Better Call Saul!

Exelente service. We come to visit the "better call Saul" film location. It's nice place to have a good time and food. We were amazed by the big portions of food 😱 the breakfast burrito with carne adovada is huge. Enough for two people. The waitress, he was so helpful when my husband asked about the "better call Saul".

Food was great and atmosphere was pretty solid as well. They were kind enough to give me a sample of pork adovada to try before I order - ended up getting that with two eggs. Home fries were excellent - sliced round and plenty of them. Can’t wait to come back

We were a party of 3 for lunch and I kept having to play waitress for our table since our waiter wasn't getting what we needed. Asked for a straw and some Splenda and he didn't get it so I got up and went and got it myself. Then he brought 2 of our meals but didn't go back to get the third. We had no silverware so I went across the room to where someone had been rolling the silverware and got us 3 settings out of the gray tub.

The atmosphere feels like you are back in the 50's, which is when this place started! The food was excellent and the second generous. Check out El Camino when you are looking for good home style New Mexican/Mexican food!

The lady met me as I was walking very sweet talked to me like she had known me her whole life… food was amazing service out of this world. And everything was soooo Clean

Service was fast and super friendly. My wife and I were a bit disappointed in the food. My Huevos Rancheros tortilla was a bit burnt on the bottom, the green chili sauce was skimpy and lacked flavor/heat.

Super fun atmosphere with true family run business. Food was incredible. Also to whomever owns this bike how much? Can I buy it?

Mostly store-bought, nothing is homemade. Sopapillas are like paper thin greasy. Iced tea taste like water. Was not a great experience at all. Used to be great back in the day when the parents ran it , gone downhill.

Ridiculously Overpriced Food -Stingy Portions An omelette for $12.95. Frito Pie for $16.95. Stale tortillas from a package, the Spanish rice was clumpy and undercooked and the red chile was bitter. Not worth the hype whatsoever. The only redeeming item on the menu were the home fries. Staff is friendly. I won't be back.

This is the best place in town for a true New Mexico eating experience. The historic building and the amazing staff create a comfortable atmosphere, and the food is always homemade. Try the Lydia's Special for breakfast or chicharrón for lunch!

The food, the service and the environment are all great, they are definitely worth checking out.

Great historic Los Ranchos restaurant. The Huevos Rancheros with red Chile and an egg over easy is outstanding. They seriously need El Camino logo plaid shirts for us to purchase. 😉 Great family, great restaurant!

Have come to El Camino for years. We understand understaffing or new cooks etc. but this last visit was a bit uncomfortable. Owner and her son bickered.. tables waiting for food for an hour. Them getting upset with a family that stated they can no longer wait. Clearly the owner is frustrated but she needs to deal with it better. Food was ok.. eggs over cooked. Just made us nervous to watch.

I used to love this dive. The restrooms were pretty bad. The salsa changed. It used to be dynamite but now it's just tomato sauce with bits of vegetable in it. The tea was sour tasting. I asked for fresh tea, our server got pretty upset that I dared to tell them it was sour (She said she made it fresh that morning). Left over unrefrigerated tea is bad. The service went downhill from there. Will not be returning.

Food was good and service was great! They made some custom orders without any problems, and our party of 7 was served quickly and just as ordered.

Experience New Mexican dining. Great food and staff. One branch restaurants are the best, like Abuelitas and Matilda's. They may convince you to get the Banana Walnut loaf or Biscochos at checkout Not a bad idea. They have been there for a while for good reason.

Had a great breakfast outside in front. Reasonable price, great and friendly service. Food arrived quickly. Only thing lacking is a good bike rack in front so people can watch their bikes while eating.

Family run business! Nice people! They are very busy and have to wait for 30 minutes to get seated and then more than a hour wait to get our food. Salsa and chips are good! Sopaipilla was good! Red sauce was ok, no kick or anything just burnt chili taste. Green sauce was only green in color, no flavor nothing. Very disappointed.
