Lived here for almost 8 years and it's the worst place. Constant issues, terrible structure and now they want $50 for a pool pass after having the rent go up over the years when it was always free every year before. Low quality apartments for luxury pricing. Do not move here if you value your money and want a safe place to live. There have also been a ridiculous amount of cars broken into because they refuse to install cameras or security because they are cheap. The grass used to be watered with sprinklers the landscaping was gorgeous too. Now half the buildings look run down and there is poison ivy everywhere even in the pool area. I could say a million things about this place but the main point is don't waste your time letting them lie to you here. Even the maintenance men have said how they're constantly back in the same apartments fixing the same problems because this complex is too cheap to solve the source of the problems. It's sad to have watched this place go so far downhill over the years and while raising rent pricing.

I am beyond livid at this apartment community. They rented my apartment to me knowing there were issues with the ventilation system. The apartment on the other side of mine, chain smokes heavily 24/7. The putrid smell is seeping through the ventilation system and has ruined EVERYTHING in my apartment. I wreak of cigarette smoke. EVERYTHING I own wreaks. Its in my furniture and bed! Every day I wake with a sore throat and chest, like I slept in a smoke filled bar all night. They knew this was an issue and tried to GASLIGHT me when I complained. They told me no one has ever complained about this issue before and that the old man that used to live there, still lives on site and never complained. THIS WAS A BOLD FACE LIE! The sweet couple that lived there before contacted me. They said that they DID complain and were forced to stay in that apartment for 6 months until they could transfer. I contacted my attorney. I would not recommend this community. Pictures are worth a million words. The bottom floor is the smoking tenants' window. The window above is a different tenant. See the difference? Now imagine the smell. It never stops. I cannot believe I paid for this. NEVER BEEN SO FURIOUS! This was completely preventable had they actually fixed the ventilation before moving another tenant(ME) into the apartment. No telling how long this tenant has lived here and how long this has been going on, but judging by the tar stains around my vents I'd say a very long time. Absolutely disgusting. *They offered to move me to a new apartment, but offered no reparations for the damages and moving expenses. They are disgusting people to work with. STAY AWAY FROM ANY HIGHMARK RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITIES. IVY APARTMENTS, ORCHARD HILLS APARTMENTS, MAPLE BROOK APARTMENTS & especially GLENN MARY APARTMENTS.

Glenmary Village Apartments are a Beautiful place to live. The office staff are accommodating to your needs. The neighbors are friendly. Maintenance is always on top of everything. The grounds are kept nice and clean. It is a family oriented and pet friendly environment. We love the quietness here. In addition, the floor plans are spacious. The appliances are always being updated. We couldn’t ask for a better apartment complex to reside in.

This is the worst place I ever live Please must read all terms and conditions before signing lease there are hidden charges on their rent system that they do not tell you on face ex admin fee that you will not get to know until you get your first rent due and I haven't seen anybody coming to my apartment to do pest control after living there almost 6 month they charge every month 10 dollar for that please don't get fooled by their outside beauty of the apartments , they just care about their money they will not co-operate with you on anything. their water and sewer charge is a big scam they make you pay money like its house water bill even if you don't use anything you will still get 75-80 bill for water (they not let you see actual company water bill). they make all money on water/sewer bill this apartment is really unfair on water bill and they make you scare on everything

My mother has rented at Glenmary Village Apartments for 2 years. The management and maintenance team - Ashley, Amanda, Braden and Derrick have been really great! On a recent early Saturday morning, my mother's air conditioner drain was backed up and Braden drove in an hour to fix it with Derrick and they also recharged the A/C. Really appreciate the fast service and how everyone at Glenmary has helped my mother feel at home after selling her house. The apartments are roomy and the property is well kept. The other tenants we've met have been very friendly. The location has also worked well for mom. Traffic on Bardstown road is busy in the mornings and afternoons but it's ok at other times.

The worst office staff I have encountered, please read my full review if you are thinking about staying here. I was constantly met with rudeness and disrespect, no matter how good natured and honest my questions were. Any simple questions asked to the office staff was met with almost immediate frustration and anger. There are numerous occasions where the office staff try to enforce rules that were not in the lease. One in particular, the lease indicates that each resident can have two cars parked in the parking lot. The office staff seemed to think it was two cars per unit. After threatening to tow my car, I showed the office staff the lease, and they said "they would take it to the regional manager and get back to me." I never heard anything back. This happened many other times in various situations, regarding parts of the lease that they themselves give to you to sign. The staff are impatient, and frequently cut me short and did not give me the time that important questions deserved. They give you the lease only about 2 or 3 days before your move in day, basically giving you no time to ensure and verify what you are actually agreeing to. One office staff in particular seems to bully or scare the other staff. They increase rent every year you stay, and the increase in rent is not market rate, it is higher than your current regardless of the market situation. They do this while offering rent 150 dollars cheaper to new residents. The apartments have completely outdated electrical facilities. The electrical wires are completely out of code and fire hazard. Additionally, you are forced to pay for cable regardless of using it or not. The trash has piled up outside the dumpster multiple times in my two years of being there. There are so many other problems I have not listed, please I urge you to not stay here if you are thinking about it. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I love living here. All the staff are so nice and anytime we need something they are quick to react!! The grounds are just beautifully kept, never any litter, grass is always cut and landscape is beautiful. I love my apartment, it feels more like home than an apartment and I love sitting on the balcony it's so nice and quite.

Adding to my initial comments about glenmary village apartments. They are amazing! After such an amazing and helpful application process and the communication with Amanda W in the office was beyond amazing. She definitely went above and beyond to make my moving in process as simple and easy as could be. I recommend these apartments to anyone and have added them to our company’s housing guide for new hires in the area!

Glenmary Village is by far the best apartments to be at! The maintenance team, Braydon and Derek, are an absolute army of 2 that take pride in the property and it shows. The grounds are very well kept, amenities are always clean and maintained, and their response to work orders are usually 99.9% of the time less than 24 hours. I would highly recommend living here to anyone searching for a place to call home!

The Maintenance team is Amazing! Any issues I’ve had (very few) they have come through quickly to fix or help! Shout out to Brayden- he made sure to repair my sink & took extra time to do some preventative maintenance. He also helped me upstairs with my lunch & drink due to a broken foot. Ain’t nothing like a community that cares!
