Tell me how come my peoples birthday cake was stolen from her 60th birthday party on Saturday night 10/21/2023 she rented out the place from 6-9 and when it came time to sang happy birthday her cake was gone . Owner's have no video for her I think employees have something to do with it, prior to clean up time. Because they can't even prove to her that it was even thrown out. None of the family or friends would ever do something like this I believe the owners are held very responsible for this and they have video footage. That's just low down 🥺

I came in last night ordered a bunch of food. Got up and came back the bartender was terrible just let two girls come up and sit in my seat and my food was just shoved over in the corner. So I paid my $61+ tab and didn't tip a thing and I have never done that. Was extremely unprofessional. My partner and I have both bartended for years and that was the most ridiculous experience I have ever had in a bar. I tried to find an email to contact them but ofcourse there isn't one online. So I'm leaving this review.

Used to frequent this place quite often and decided to go back yesterday with some friends in town. We had the same female bar tender who had been there for years… I ordered a burger with add on fries and bacon. My burger came out about 15 minutes after the rest of the groups food came out and was so over cooked that it fell apart when I picked it up. Not a big deal, things happen. However, the bar tender rolled her eyes and walked away with my the plate when I expressed my dissatisfaction. When time came to close out, she brought me a non-itemized receipt (red flag). When I asked for a breakdown she rolled her eyes again and said I was getting charged for the add on fries and bacon, neither of which I ate and were taken away when I complained. One of the rudest service industry workers I’ve ever encountered. At that point I didn’t even want to argue with her. Really sad as this used to be one of the better local spots in the area.

I gave them 3 stars because you have to go inside to place your order and get your own drinks if you sit outside. We could've sit inside, but the ramp for her wheel chair is not easily accessible with all the chairs by the door. I have only experienced the nachos with bbq beef, and I must say IT'S SOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS. My co-workers get breakfast each time. I can say every time her bacon is always overcooked, but they are more than happy to make more. The drinks aren't really strong, so if you had a bad day, this is not the place for a kick axxxx drink. I would recommend Taco City drinks, but definitely not their food. I wouldn't really recommend take out for the Taproom nachos because it's not the same great taste putting everything together that comes in small individual cups. This is a small quaint place to relax and feel a good vibe inside or out. I may try other items on the menu, but for now, I'll stick with the bbq beef nachos 😋

Really killer venue with an amazing staff and killer food! Metal Monday's was a blast!

Go here!!! I came here about 3 weeks ago and had a wonderful experience with great drinks. One of the drinks was mixed by one of the bartenders as we didn’t know what we wanted and it was spot on to what we were looking for. Reasonably priced and in a relaxing environment. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area!!

They were so helpful with all our "out of towner" questions! Even helped us fine local live music. We did find out they offer karaoke on Saturdays and live music in the parking lot on Sunday nights! I also appreciated the fact they charged my phone for me, because my charger was at the hotel! Definitely a good local spot we ran across.

I was here for a Christmas party. It was definitely a full house! I haven't had a chance to go back yet but I surely will soon. Great for karaoke lovers

Great place to hang out, and enjoy cheap drinks. I hang out in the building without the karaoke because I'm not a fan. But the next door building has a stage with karaoke pretty much every night.

My husband and I came here for drinks, and the drinks were good. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. I think that maybe we are just too old--I'm not certain that our mid 30s demographic is exactly what they are aiming for. The inside of the bar building was dark and smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke. There was weird metal music playing, and it almost felt like I had walked into someone's home where I had not been invited based on the vibes of the place. it wasn't a terrible experience, but I don't think that we will be back

First time I've ever been there. I would definitely go back the day was beautiful and we sat outside. The gentleman working there was oh so sweet and kind he was marvelous

Basic sports bar with great weekly specials, although the prices are good anyway. The outside patio looks like a fun option in good weather.

Great ambiance overall, dynamic sports pub vibe on one side and live music/open mic karaoke on the other. Outdoor seating allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds, along with some quality ppl/car watching on the street. Wings were on point, great variety and quality selections of beer and spirits. Their OWA 107 single barrel pick is 🔥.

Chill dive bar. Came here on a Saturday afternoon so it was pretty low key. Drinks pretty cheap and they have a cider on tap. We decided on ordering a few apps, the pulled pork eggrolls and the naked chicken wings (buffalo and chipotle lime BBQ). The eggrolls were decent but I probably wouldn't order them again. The naked wings were delicious! Since the price was so cheap I was expecting them to be subpar but they definitely exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back for the wings and cheap drinks

Good food and beer, they have a full bar. This place is a Louisville and Highlands top spot and local fave. The brunch menu (weekend) is really good and has a bunch of goodies that just hit the spot! Their regular food is also very good. Atmosphere is typical of the Highlands and very friendly. Sometimes there are a lot of patrons but other times there are only a few. They have outdoor seating for the nice days. I don't smoke anymore but I believe they have an enclosed smokers patio.

Had a good time, if you're interested in having fun... This is the place! There's always a good crowd looking to have fun.

So we came to have breakfast biscuits and gravy was spicy but delicious, eggs were okay.. & got Fish sandwich too. Very much disappointed in $10 fish sandwich.(2bites) Tiniest piece of fish EVA!! W/ Zero side. Garnish nice.. broche toasted nicely. BUT $10 for that tiny thing.. nope. Brought out of town guest, and I was embarrassed at what was served for fish. Won't do it again..

Good prices on drinks. Unfortunately we missed the food. Saw signs for brunch specials for Saturday and Sunday. Good chill vibes. Close quarters

Although the food was delicious, it seems me and my partner got sick after eating the our meal ( a burger Ana chicken quesadilla. Nevertheless, I’m sure it was just a freak accident.

Small but great spot, we had just arrived in Louisville from out of town and wanted to grab a few beers and lunch while we waited on friends. I ordered the burger and fries and hubby the quesadilla and both were delicious and would have again. They also had a nice variety of taps from Lager's, IPAs, Gose's, ect.

Decent place to chill and grab a drink right on Bardstown rd

It was full on Saturday late night. We went in looking for something to eat. No late butes at this place. Simple, no frills bar geared towards the college aged market. Music was just what you listen to on the local radio. Boring. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Ok to stop for a drink.

Small place. Very good selection of beers. For loks really good. Didn't eat that day. Staff seem pleasant enough. Knowledgeable on their selection of drinks. Seems very reasonably priced, considering the area. Will definitely go back!

Hands-down one of my favorite bars in Louisville. Two different bars - one that’s the restaurant karaoke side and the other side is where all the misfits like me hang out. The crowd is incredibly eclectic and you never know who you might run into! The bartenders are incredibly friendly, the pour‘s are fantastic and the prices are definitely reasonable. If you take care of the bartenders they will take care of you! Mondays is my favorite because it’s metal Monday. Always good metal bands and it’s always free. I highly recommend it.

Great music. Decent food. Loved the live band playing. Seems that I forgot their name. Nevertheless a good spot to stop, sip , sit w self or people.

Tippity sippity tap, I come here to be a rat 🐀. I don't go out too often but I like to see some slimes I know here and there at this fine establishment. I be noddin my head saying haaaay! All the tizzie time. They got some good eats and hard drinks. Some of your friends hate it and some love it. I just go for the vibes and to start my adventures for the night. I recommend checking it out!

Great place owned by a great family. Best place in the Highlands for that "neighborhood pub" feel. Food is delicious and beer snobs will love the draught selection.

Best bar in the city without a doubt. GREAT drinks at a great price and friendly people with the coolest bartenders out there. Definitely recommend to people trying to grab a drink and have a good night.

Great bartending service, cool diverse crowd, but the music is not diverse - it's only rap and it's very loud. More variety in the music department would help this place a lot. Maybe turn the volume down a wee bit so that people can converse a little, at least. The karaoke building was dreary and a bit sad, but at least you could talk and it was fun/entertaining listening to different people sing karaoke.

The owners and staff were very hospitable and accommodating. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a a place to host a party. I have hosted several parties with no issues.
