Festival

😠 Holy price gouging Batman! $15 drinks, $15 food, no reentry, I was pretty disappointed. I had a 4 day pass and wished I’d just bought 2 days. I felt like they were reaching in my pocket every second I was there. People often mention festival, people,

2023 No doubt festival experts, about as perfect as one could reasonably expect for general admission tickets. I saw zero spectator altercations, everyone was so pleasant and friendly we plan to return next year already! We saw two people become unconscious in the dark evening and staffers responded so quick, one before we realized what was happening. So many portapotties never had to wait. More food vendors ever seen together at a relatively small area of the expo grounds. Music acts started about 5 minutes after the prior completed. Paired main stages with 4 huge portrait video screens made viewing so convenient. Now, you’ll see others post about vip tickets oversold, and during the Bruno Mars concert allegedly the VIP areas became over populated with general admission invaders that security supposedly did not screen and created an unsafe environment. I was not VIP but heard about both these issues from others. Any issues we experienced ourselves were minor, so exceeded our expectations!

It was my first time there and it was definitely an amazing experience! I plan on going back next year and bringing the motor coach again! Duran Duran stole the entire show in my opinion! Great food great Bourbon and great fun! Heavy Metal ChurchCom gives it an11!

Awesome time had by all. The perfect warm up for next week’s Louder than Life. Festival grounds were very well maintained and staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. And…..so far the weather hasn’t been too bad. 🤞🏻

My friends and I went to the louder than life concert series. We've had fun listening to the great bands.

The items for sale were WAY too pricey for me to afford, but I guess that is what one would expect at a music festival. There were many eclectic choices from popular places around town, which was nice. However, you were certainly paying to have the bigger tourist pulls there, I think. Anyway, I really enjoyed this festival and there were a plethora of interesting vendors that I was excited to see and talk to. This festival was smaller than Jazz Fest or Voodoo Fest (speaking as a NOLA native) but it was a more intimate atmosphere too. There were fewer stages, so you could easily reach wherever you wanted to go without having to walk too far away. I would go again. There were MANY wonderful musicians and some very cool artwork and atmosphere!

I keep telling myself that I'm not going back to this festival, then I get tickets anyway. The lineup is always so awesome looking that I talk myself back into going. Every design decision, from entry/egress and festival layout and "safety", is made to maximize profit. No decisions are made for convenience or comfort. It's extremely oversold, especially in VIP. I bet there were 20,000 people in VIP during Bruno Mars, which leads to extreme discomfort and dangerous situations. People will use chairs and blankets to "hold" the best spots for the entire day. In VIP, groups of people will guard other peoples chairs and couches, again, for the entire day. There are no rules or staff enforcing usage of anything. And, late in the day, people will start taking up the main thorough fares. This makes it very difficult to get around, and dangerous, since the tighter space gets the more aggressive people get. It's easily the worst festival I've ever attended, by a large margin.

Seeing Hozier was my dream come true. The event was well put together. We had VIP access and were so close to the stage. Loved every second of the event.

Loved all the music and would have given it 5 stars, but once Bruno Mars came on it was dangerous. People were pushing people to try to get closer! I really surprised there wasn't a lot of people hurt
