This is a beautiful park and a great place to walk, run, or bike. There are lots of trails and the roads are closed to cars so it’s pedestrian friendly. There a few playgrounds for the kids. The bathrooms are pretty rough, but at least there are bathrooms.

Always lots of dogs and a fun spot to walk to. Most dog owners are good and pay particular attention to their dogs, and read the "vibe" of the other dogs. I trust this spot more than dog parks. Usually its pretty grassy too, so my golden doesn't get too muddy! We've lost one too many tennis balls on this Dog Hill, but that just shows that the dogs are having lots of fun!

Known to the locals as "Dog Hill" this is a fantastic area of Cherokee Park. Easy access from all major roads in the Highlands, and has one of the best views of Cherokee park. Be prepared for dogs however, as this is one of the more popular areas for locals to bring them out to play.

One of the best places in the city!! My dear sweet brother has a bench up there and I go and sit and visit with him while looking at all the beauty.

A great, beautiful hill in the best park in Louisville! Cherokee Park. A must for runners and walkers. Beautiful forest, public golf course, great trails, basketball court, kids slides, swings, water playground, many outdoor grills, great for everyone in every way!

What? Why are you having me review this, Google? It's literally a hill in a park. Yeah, okay, it's pretty good as far as hills go. This used to be called "Dog Hill" by the locals because everyone brought their dogs there to run around but then the city put a stop to that because one too many people didn't pick up after their dogs if you know what I mean. I mean poop.

Known as "dog hill" it's a spot where dog owners let their dogs race around off leash. Toss the ball down the hill and it'll wear your dog out quickly. There's a pavilion there for shade and a cook-out.

I love everything about Cherokee Park. This hill is no exception. I do find it a bit odd when the yoga ladies park on the walkway.

I love coming here with my dogs! It’s incredibly beautiful and the view is amazing, especially in fall. It is a great place to meet other people and dogs. I’ve loved it for years and never stop coming back!

Cherokee Park is incredibly beautiful and fun. And Baringer Hill is great for dogs and people to run up and down! Good exercise!
