The most unprofessional and unethical staff I’ve ever encountered— after two men in all black bang on our hotel room door at 4am who refuse to announce themselves then began to threaten us, cursing that he would take us out in handcuffs right then. I’m appalled at the level of mismanagement here because when I, concerned and feeling threatened, called the front desk to see if these in fact were hotel employees they did not take out concerns seriously and sided that their security was doing their job. I’ve never in my life had such a supremely awful and scary experience where I didn’t even feel comfortable sleeping in the hotel room I paid for. What a disappointment and can happily say we will never stay with a Hampton Inn or affiliate ever again.

Always a joy staying at a Hampton Inn. They r under renovations. The only thing I missed having was a microwave in my room. Staff was friendly, the shuttle to and from the airport was amazing. If you ever get the pleasure of meeting Kenny the shuttle driver he's the best!!

The hotel is certainly a four star and they are in the process of renovating. So what should you be aware of right now? The pool is not functioning, but you can use neighboring hotels’ pools. The beep beep beep of the construction vehicles starts shortly after 7AM. The breakfast is amazing!! Staff is super nice and very accommodating. The rooms will soon be renovated so I don’t want to say too much but I hope they get taller potties (would be bad for an older person) and fix the water pressure. Also, a microwave in the room would be nice, but they let us use the one in the breakfast area. Overall we really liked it.

I would not stay at this hotel again. It is no fault to the staff. They were very friendly, professional, and accommodating. This hotel is next to the airport and highway which makes it very loud to begin with. Also, this hotel accommodates public housing and people who live there on a steady basis who are not considerate to travelers. They should not put travelers and people who live there on the same floors. The hotel is extremely loud and not for a traveler who needs to get a good nice sleep. The room was clean and adequate.

The bathroom was disgusting!!!! They didn’t sweep or mop. Spots and hair everywhere. The photo of the dirty white cloth is from me wiping the floor with a wash cloth. I went to take a shower and the shower/tub wasn’t even clean. Hair was stuck to the walls of the shower and to the tub. It makes me wonder about the carpet. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Convenient, cost efficient. No fan in bathroom. Breakfast is the best part of the experience. Bed was super comfy, bathroom could’ve been cleaner. I wouldn’t stay again on purpose though.

Checking in at the front desk with Jessica, was an absolute pleasure. She was very accommodating with our early check-in! We got a room with 2 full size beds, and had to switch to 1 King because me, being a taller person, wasn’t fitting very comfortably. She was very understanding and got us a different room right away. We were very thankful! Also walking into the hotel, we saw a pumpkin painting contest, that employees were participating in, and guests could vote for favorite pumpkin! It’s always good to see some culture from a guests perspective coming from large brands like Hilton. Every employer should create a culture within their business.. Room is 3 stars simply just because they are out dated with carpet. However, construction and renovations are happening on the 4th floor so changes are happening! After experiencing the quality of this hotel in its current state, one can only imagine how wonderful visit they would have once the renovations are completed. You can see what the guest rooms are going to look like on a poster board in the Lobby! Very cool. Overall, not a bad hotel, friendly employees, would definitely go back after renovations are completed.

A nice hotel out in the sticks. A little dated but the staff was very accommodating. The fitness area needs some TLC as it is quite dirty. Kids make it very loud and the breakfast needs REAL eggs and bacon.

Good place to stay close to the airport. Little outdated but overall good condition.

I stayed at this location for two weeks and I really enjoyed it. The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was tasty! The cleaning staff did a great job with my room. It was a very comfy and cozy hotel. Loved having the 24/7 shuttle also. Also loved the closeness to downtown and the expo center. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will return in the future.

Everyone was amazing and friendly. The front desk and house keeping were very attentive. The shuttle drivers were timely, friendly and extremely careful. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast staff. Everything was clean, hot bar was always stocked, cold items were well managed and the staff warm and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again next year. Thank you everyone.

Stayed overnight due to flight cancellation . Strange odor on one of the beds pillows and my room # 434 had a strong smell of cat urine. I would never stay there again . Do not waste your time or money . Stay somewhere else. Absolutely the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at.

The staff is great.. the rooms are being renovated..so that should be better. Our bathroom was a CAVE..only 1 light. The breakfast area is too small for the number of people staying here. The worst however are the other people. Dirty, the coffee bar was a mess last night! So rude. Loud noises in the hall. Loud TV next door. banging . Normally I love Hampton inn..not this one

The rooms are a bit dated, but the property is undergoing renovation. The reno makes it a bit noisy right now. The hotel is located very close to the airport and other similar hotels. The front desk team is friendly, kind and helpful. Special thanks to the Eric, who drives their shuttle, for good directions and pointing out the potential driving hazards coming out of the airport when driving a rental car. He also gave good suggestions for finding eating places in the 3 mile radius the shuttle serves. The room was clean and comfortable.

I stayed here because I was attending an event at the convention center. The hotel was walking distance to the convention center, which was really nice. I believe the hotel also offers a shuttle to and from the convention center but I did not use it. It was also an easy drive downtown. The rooms were a bit dated and I spotted a few cobwebs. However, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and I had no issues.

Due to unforeseen circumstances upon arriving in Louisville, I needed a room for just one night. The bed was the BOMB! and I'm not just saying that because I had spent the night before at the airport, sleeping on the floor. Jania was working the front desk and her upbeat attitude, friendliness, moo and helpfulness calmed my frazzled nerves. Another clerk, I didn't get her name, who worked either the evening or late shift, shared pics of her grandkids. The breakfast bar attendants were efficient and conscientious. Housekeeping staff were friendly too. The Hampton Inn is a nice hotel but your staff makes it a "home away from home." Thank you for the experience.

Lady at front desk was not helpful! I tried to explain an issue and she basically told me nothing she could do, it's just that way! I travel weekly for work and have never had such rude treatment

If your looking for an awesome hotel to stay with wonderful people working there late at night look no further this is your place. Great staff, clean big rooms temp in room was perfect to help you fall asleep, bathroom clean and free of mold. Plus it is smoke free and it DOES NOT smell like marijuana like a lot of other hotels.

Why are you sorry? Hampton Inn was clean and fine, you're a very good 3 star hotel. I enjoyed the stay.

I stayed here twice. Couldn't ask for nice staff . The shuttle driver Ed was a great help. I'm disabled and her made sure he was there to pick me up after the concert .

First room on first floor was a joke. Clearly a last resort room. Second room was slightly better but shower didn’t work properly, beds lumpy, fridge rattled all night. Floor sticky. Generally the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed in.

We check in on a Wednesday and check out Sunday and the entire time that we were there they did not clean the room or offer towels or anything. We had to take the lid off the back of the toilet because ot was mess up. We paid alot of money to stay there.

I was staying at the Tru right across from this hotel and had a terrible experience so checked out. The Hampton Inn was able to check me in well before check-in time. It's an older hotel so...it looks old and does not have the modern room amenities (outlets on the nightstand, streaming capabilities, etc.) which is disappointing if that is what you are used to. Also, when the person in the room next to me woke up and took a shower I could hear every drop of water. There was something in the room that cut off/on every few hours that kept making a noise that annoyed me. But, the staff is EXCEPTIONAL! Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice sized, beds are very comforable, towels were nice and soft, and everything was clean. It was more expensive than the Tru but I'd definitely pay the extra to stay here rather than stay across the parking lot. 3.5 Stars

The online booking app set the wrong date. We called to cancel the reservation and the clerk who answered said it was all taken care of and no charges would be made. Monday morning my wife’s card was charged anyways. They are refusing to refund our money. It is not our fault they where booked full for the night we needed so it auto flipped our reservation to the next night. I will never stay in another Hampton and I will encourage everyone else to avoid then. I enjoy being in the hospitality industry.

Had to get to the airport at 4:30am, so this hotel was in the perfect location! Parking was easy, check-in was quick and the front desk staff was helpful. Rooms were clean, and the bed was pretty comfortable! Overall would stay here again!

Staff are very nice, breakfast was good. The room was a typical Hampton layout which is great. However, the whole place could use a good scrubbing. My room was pretty clean, but the common areas needed attention.

The receptionist was excellent in making us feel welcome an accommodating. They will go out of their way to help and extend our stay. One encounter was 3/5/22 when I was in a rush to officiate Volleyball at the Louisville Expo center and left my winter jacket at the hotel, not realizing that I left it behind in the hotel. (Rushing) to get to my match. The hotel CEO was contacted and she came to my rescue along with the receptionist at night on the 3/5 They were a God sent in every way. Thank you so very MUCH !!!!! God bless you both.

The facility was clean, the breakfast was not your ordinary hotel breakfast, it was a MEAL! I left items in my room, I called, they secured my items I sent a label to Michelle, and the manager, they packed my things and took it a step further, dropped it off at UPS for me. I have NEVER experienced this type of service before… As a “Dance Mom” my daughter and I travel a lot, this is by far our BEST EXPERIENCE!!!! Thank you guys!! Monette Bryant~

Easy in and out access. Rooms clean and inviting. Got way more than I bargained for! Long time Hilton honor diamond member. Thank you for the service. I was very satisfied!

Because of a lost room reservation I had to pay $300 per night at this Hampton inn. At that price this was a very poor value. At $100 per night it would have been a good value. But, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and the breakfast was as you would expect.

Hampton Inns are usually one of my favorite places to stay when taking road trips. I appreciate the comfortable beds and pillows and the free breakfast. I won't, however, be staying at this location again. It appeared shabby compared to other Hampton Inn hotels and we had issues during our stay that likely were the result of deferred maintenance. The location off the highway is good, but an update is needed.

Great place to stay. Incidentals are only $25 which is exceptional considering the Tru Hotel is $500 for Incidentals if you're a local resident. The staff were AWESOME! We stayed there during an emergency (house fire) and Jessica went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our stay was as easy and convenient as possible considering the chaos I was already going through. 10/10 would recommend. Only thing that would make this place better isnif there were a microwave in the room. There's a small fridge though.
