First and last time at this place. The best part about this hotel is it’s close to the interstate. You will need it because NONE of these rooms have a refrigerator, or a microwave, or even a laundry area. The rooms ac units also have a governor on them and cap out at 68degrees!? Room service has yet to answer in the two days I’ve been stuck here.

Great hotel but beware! This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Love the hotel, it is beautiful, very convenient to everything and the staff is very friendly. However, they charge you a $100.00 deposit that is to be refunded if you leave with no damage. After my stay, I noticed I did not get my money back. I looked and I didn't get it on my last trip either. I made the mistake of trusting a reputable company...or so I thought. I stayed last Halloween (2021) and this labor day (2022) and did not receive my money back. I'm 62 years old...I don't party and tear things up. I clean up before I go. So there is no reason other than they just don't refund like they say. So if you want to stay in a nice hotel and pay an extra $100.00 then this is for you. For me, never again and I will tell everyone how they steal from you. If there is one thing I won't tolerate... it's a theif...and this hotel is one. So disappointed.

We stayed the weekend to attend the Farm and Machinery Show. The rooms were marked way up, which is understandable, if the rooms were clean and we could have actually slept Saturday night. Walking into the room, you could see that little effort was made in cleaning the room. When I walked into the bathroom, the floor was sticky. The bathtub was dirty, and there was fresh caulking on the bathtub that was still tacky feeling. I laid hand towels on the sink because when I lifted the tray of coffee items up, it was wet and dirty under it as well as under the mirror. The vent for the air conditioner was half off, so if someone had a small child in that room, they could very easily get hurt. The beds were comfortable, but the bedding had stains on it. Also, there was a queen sized fitted sheet on a king size bed and it kept coming off. We dealt with it, knowing how busy the hotel was. On Saturday night, we arrived back at the hotel and we had no fresh linens and could tell housekeeping had not been there. We went to the front desk and asked for linens. We were told that you have to request housekeeping. I understand the concept, but I would suggest to let guests know this upon check in. Walking back to our room, there was a group by the elevator drinking and being very loud. Not long after we got back to our room there were people yelling and screaming at each other, wanting to fight. This went on for about 45 minutes. At that point I was concerned for my safety and could not go to sleep. After that situation was over, there were people yelling in the halls until almost 3am. I am unsure of why others were not removed from the property for being drunk, and out in the halls disrupting those trying to sleep. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep and we went to have breakfast, which is very good. Our waitress was one of the best. My husband went to check out and told the front desk of the situation and got a very insincere apology. We paid over 600 for two nights there and I will not do that ever again.

Was there for a convention during renovations. Was told the Presidential Suite was beautiful. Got there and it was a make shift Presidential Suite with 2 mini fridges and no microwave at all. I'm disabled and l can't keep walking back and forth to the front desk to get food warmed up. Some lights didn't work and had trouble getting TV to work. Blow dryer didn't work either. For the price we paid, could have had a nicer suite somewhere else. No bar in the room or anything like it was supposed to have. Hadn't been back in my home town in years, was disappointed with my stay

We stay here every year for the Farm Machinery Show. We’ve had great experiences in the past. This year was a totally different story. Rooms were dirty when we checked in (dusty, not vacuumed, hair on the bathroom floor, etc). Shuttle service to the expo center that has previously been provided was not this year. Staff was rude. No cleaning services unless requested (found this out after having been there for two days). It would have been nice to know these things before arriving. I know that due to Covid some things have changed, but being a courteous person and informing people of changes before booking is something easy to do.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience here was terrible. We came for the Farm Machinery Show, which from what I understand is one of the largest events Louisville holds each year. We were told that every year prior, the hotel offered a shuttle to the convention center. Apparently they don’t do that anymore & they were pretty rude about letting us know that upon arrival (we had to ask first). The chair in our room had holes in the fabric. The room itself wasn’t the cleanest. Housekeeping is apparently only available upon request now (another thing we had to find out for ourselves). When we did request more towels and coffee pods, we received 2 towels, no coffee pods. When we voiced our concerns to the front desk staff about this & more, she told us our room would be half price upon checkout. When we checked out about an hour later, she changed her tune and only one night was charged at half price (half price still being over $150 for the night). I understand that Covid has been hard on everyone, but we weren’t shown any hospitality here from those in the ‘hospitality’ industry. Next year, we’ll choose one of the many other nearby hotels who did offer things like a shuttle. The Hilton or the Hampton are just two of many other hotel shuttles we saw all weekend at the expo center. If you’re booking for the NFMS & are expecting a similar stay to previous shows, I’d say book elsewhere.

We have stayed here for years and years because of their services for the week of the farm machinery show. After one yr of it being cancelled in 2021, we come back this yr excited but to no services available to us. No shuttle service, no room cleaning or fresh towels and toiletries without having to ask and or complain. We get up charged for that week of our stay in comparison to normal rates as it is due to it being busy for them. This was the absolute worse stay we have ever experienced here!

We stayed at this hotel because it was the closest to the event we were attending and because it was a Crown Plaza. The check in was smooth and the staff friendly. However the room was very beat up and dirty. The carpet was torn and filthy, the furniture was frayed and wall paper was peeling. Overall the impression it gave was that the property has been given up on by the owners, but leaving a good staff with no resources to maintain it. The same is true of the hallways. Everything has a very forgotten feel. It is a shame because I have never had this type of experience from this company before. I have added pictures to the review.

Terrible customer service. The females at the front desk have the behavior and attitude of the cast of Mean Girls. Gossip seems to be their favorite aspect of the job. Overhead more than I care to share about other guests... To top it all off, not only were they incredibly passive aggressive towards me, the cleanliness of the space is LACKING. All in all, this hotel is a disappointment!

This hotel is very near the hood. Shooting at night at the bowling alley across the street. Rooms smell, housekeeping was non existent. Only made 1 bed in a 2 room suite, didn’t take the trash that I so kindly gathered and placed in one spot. No pool as advertised, I will never come back here.

I mean, really no complaints. The room and bathroom were clean. I can understand why people might complain about the noise coming from the A/C but it really wasn't much different from other hotels I've stayed at. It made for some great white noise to fall asleep to. The hotel could use some updating.. but that didn't really have an impact on my stay. Everyone who I encountered who worked at the hotel were very nice. SUPER convenient/close to Louder Than Life. Saved money by not having to deal with Ubers for 4 days. If I head to LTL next year, I'll be back.

    * Obvious stains on the carpets, worn out furniture. * Room was actually roomy for once, not a postage stamp like some hotel rooms. * Staff were friendly, and the lobby doesn’t inform you about the state of your room * You may have to spend 10 minutes of your life traversing a huge lengthy “C” shape to get from your room to convention spaces or the lobby. A perplexing design with no efficient cut-through hallways. Ask for something within short walking distance of the amenities you’re interested in. * Pool was off limits. Expect amenities to be closed during your stay. * Restaurant has a breakfast buffet, but prices these days are unreasonable. * Despite the location…didn’t hear any aircraft noise at night. * Not expensive with the convention rate I paid, but I see others have had bad experiences (e.g. roaches), and I’m not in a hurry to return.

This hotel is a dump that has gone downhill substantially in the last few years. My kids participate in the state fair and we had stayed here in 2019 and it was okay back then. Fast forward to 10/2022 and wow….I won’t stay here again. I’ll let the pictures do the talking but our room was filthy with dust and stains on tables. The cable tv didn’t work or at least some of the channels worked. The tub was gross with mold and black spots in the tub. Walls had stains and tears. Carpets had stains. At around 9PM on our last night, our room was overtaken with a sewer-like smell that lingered for hours. The worst of it all is that the hotel is $170/night and they charge you $150 in fees, etc.

We stayed here over the weekend for the louder than life festival. The prices were marked wayyyyyyyy up. I understand for the concert and I wouldn’t have minded to pay that except, when we got there the sheets were dirty. They had long black hair ALL OVER the bed and pillow cases. I called at 2pm and asked for the sheets to be changed while we were gone to the concert. We arrived back at 11pm and the sheets were still not touched. I called again to request the sheets to be changed and the man brought up 2 pillow cases and handed to my husband and told him to changed them. My husband told him no and he wanted the entire bed changed. So 20 minutes later they finally came back to change them. Also, there was no fridge in the room. Which was bad because as busy as it was there, it was hard to drive anywhere due to the concert across the street causing it to be very congested. Mind you we paid 1500 for 3 nights and this was outrageous for the stay that we got. The air conditioner made a loud noise all night that kept my husband up for the majority of the night. On the other hand, In the restaurant, our waiter Matt was fantastic. He was very on top of his duties as a waiter. The bed was also comfortable. But that is about all I can say for this place.

A great place to stay you are less than 3 minutes from the airport. Really good spot a nice quick overnight to get a good night's sleep so you don't have to fight the traffic in the morning. You're able to leave your car at the hotel take the shuttle and then come back and pick your car up and go. Internet could be better and I will say this hotel is very active so if you want a good night's sleep talk to the front desk to make sure you're on the floor that is not as active as the one I was on.

Needs some serious updating and a deep clean. Hotel is filthy, fixtures are damaged and entire hotel is dated. AC is loud. Lobby reaks of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking hotel. Had an extended stay and actually had to request a full service clean for my room (change sheets, vacuum, etc), which should happen more often, but they don't tell you that you have to REQUEST housekeeping! Oh and not once did I see or hear a vacuum cleaner, even after requesting! Most of the staff is pleasant, like they know the property is a mess and are doing their best to please customers despite the conditions. Managers, however, are VERY rude and talk down to their employees in front of customers. Supervisor Dana and front desk manager Brandi should not be in customer service, they are extremely rude and condescending! Do not recommend staying here, super 8 or motel 6 would have been cleaner and more accommodating.

Before we left, I decided to call and get some information about 3 weeks before we got there. I could not find an open kennel for Samson and Delilah (my mixed terriers) I was told by the lady on the phone that it was $50 a stay later on when I was checking out come to find out it was $50 a day. I picked them since they were eight weeks old that was 10 years ago and they are very protective of me so if you come close they will bark, at 2:00 a.m. in the morning the fire alarm went off and with all the beeping and all the people yelling and everybody close proximity they were confused and afraid and we're barking, well management decided to tell everybody else to tell me that my dogs are barking and bothering the other visitors. When I asked why didn't you call my room and let me know the owner they told me that they were following policy. I am still confused on who makes the policy to tell everybody else that my dogs are barking and bothering everybody else but the owner of the dogs I'm still confused why didn't they just call me and let me know. Breakfast was a major disappointment two buffets for almost $40 I believe the eggs were made from powder I remember from my military Days, Grits was watery and lumpy with no taste. The coffee I took a ship and never touched it again. And I know coffee I grew up in a coffee farm in Puerto Rico. Breakfast was a complete disappointment with the rating of Zero. And don't get me started on their elevators, plenty of times I was tempted to fold my wheelchair throw it down the steps and take my chances on the steps getting down. Plenty of times they were stopping between floors and wouldn't move, or they will find a floor but the doors weren't closed. Or the doors would open and shut wouldn't seconds of being opened where I would miss an opening to get in. Yes the elevators are very frustrating. I could go on and on but watch the use at least now you know under little things to expect.

Nice hotel rooms are very nice. Service is good but the restaurant options in the hotel are limited. The restaurant is pretty good but for example it's brunch Is exactly the same everyday. No variety... Also, they really don't know what to do with dietary restrictions but otherwise good. Hotel to stay at the staff is very friendly and helpful in the rooms like I said are quite clean. I go there once a year and it's always a reliably good experience

Paid 140 for a night in November for a room with a balcony. Room was clean and the thermostat worked. Had a ice bucket and ice machine that worked. Close to airport. Plenty of towels and rags. Beds were good and pillows were super comfy. I’d visit again. They poop but I didn’t use it. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay

Nice open space with lots of on site features. Good restaurant and hallway cafe. Our bathtub was backed up for the 3 day we stayed here. Free shuttle service to local destinations was fantastic and the staff were all very nice. Great pool!!

Apart from hair on the pillows, bedsheets with holes and stained duvet. The hotel is old so expect the room to look a bit rundown. Convenient to the airport. Gotta call ahead for shuttle to pick you up/drop off. Expect airplanes sounds but overall staff are great, especially when i had to change rooms. The breakfast buffet was great, waitress was on top of everything.

Great convenient location. We were just driving through but its a great hotel for the convention center or business. It's also super close to the airport. Rooms and overall hotel was very clean. The buffet breakfast was great, we walked in right at the end and were pleasantly surprised that everything was extremely fresh. The staff was phenomenal

We stay here for the American Pomeranian Club National Specialty every year. The rooms are decent and hotel staff are always friendly. We’re quick to get extra towels when we request it from the front desk. The biggest complaint is the carpets in the room can smell pretty bad if you get close enough to them. We don’t walk around barefoot. I think the carpets need to be shampooed once in a while. The food choices for the events are okay. Could be better but aren’t terrible.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is right next to Kentucky Kingdom and the Kentucky Exposition Center. The room does not come with a mini refrigerator. You can rent one which is additional if you want to store any food items. The AC did not work well in the room we had. I asked others staying there if they were having the same experience and they said no. I thought it was a little pricey for what you got, but location is king.

I normally don't do this, but I had to share my experience. First off I'll start with the good… the front desk staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Check-in was a breeze and the lady that waited on me was a gem. The lobby was very nice and spacious. Now, let's get to the real deal, the room. We ended up changing rooms because the first room smelled like cat pee so strong that it knocked me over at the door. The carpet in both rooms was HORRIFIC!! I never walk around a hotel barefoot, but I've also never seen a carpet like this before. Everything was so dated and not at all what I expected. I went down to the restaurant to order food and while the lady was taking my order the hostess came took the menu from me, and put it away. She never acknowledged me or asked if I was finished with the menu. Last but not least for a hotel that size you would think that they would have more luggage carts. People were waiting hours and still couldn't get luggage carts. I guess I said all of that to say this, I was very disappointed, and I will not stay there again.

Beds were nice, but bathroom was terrible. Tub was dirty (because it wouldn't drain) and our toilet chain was broken. Small amount of mold growing on the ceiling also. I went with a group who booked it because it was conveniently located next to the expo center, but the quality left much to be desired. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was NOT worth $16 even though the fruit was delicious and sweet even in November. I realized after the fact that you can order things a la carte. Might be a better value.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. My family reserved multiple room to stay during the National Farm Show. We were not notified until we arrived that the entire hotel is under construction and the saws and hammers would start at around 7 am and not stop until late in the afternoon. None of our rooms were serviced during our stay and when we requested addition wash cloths, we were informed that they did not have any clean wash cloths at that time. I don’t see how a hotel can charge the price that they are and expect their guest to tolerate these conditions.

Very disappointing.. we booked a year ago for the national farm show for 5 days at $400 a night for what was suppose to be a “ suite”(we’ve came for the last 6 or so years and wanted to try a new place) I will say the front desk was nice and I’m sure most everything is out of their hands but.. our couch had nasty white stains/ spots all over it. The floors look like they haven’t been clean in months. The shower curtain is stained. Our AC would only blow hot and our room was 78. (Thankfully maintain had it fixed in a hour or two) to be honest I can look past most of that stuff but they were renovating the hotel which is great but they were working on just about every floor and would start at 7AM with hammers and saws above our room until later in the afternoon. When I took my concerns to the front they said” sorry but it was posted on the website since July” (we booked last march) and never got any kind of email or heads up.
