I had a quick weekend trip here, and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was amiable and attentive. I requested an early check-in when I booked my room. I showed up at noon, and check-in was at 3 pm. The hotel was able to give me a room (although other than the one I booked. A slight downgrade, but I was just happy to have a room early.) They offered to move me to my room once it was ready. But I decided to just stay in the same room. The hotel was immaculate, and the room was great. I had an executive King suite originally and ended up staying in the standard King suite. The room was great, comfortable bed and good amenities at this hotel. I wish the breakfast was open a bit longer, but not a deal-breaker. I would definitely stay here again! Great job.

If I could give zero starts I would. This is the WORST hotel of all hotels. I stayed here from 7/28-8/2, and I had the most terrible time here in my life. When I checked in I found there were NO sheets on the bed, we tried to contact front desk, and after several attempts no one answered, so we walked downstairs to the front desk, to ask for bed linen, only to have the front desk agent tell us they were all out of sheets, what type of hotel is out of sheets!!?? We had our room cleaned 1 time, and that was after we asked the maid service that was down the hall. We booked for 3 adults and there was only 1 wash cloth. They never took our garbage, and never changed our sheets to the 1 bed we had (we had a pull out couch too, but no linen). Please whatever you do, DO NOT stay here, run very far. The location was ok, it was downtown, lots of restaurants and things to do!

Good, clean rooms, allowed me to check in early and convenient 6 min walk to KICC When I checked in, it has to be done at the adjacent Spring Hill Suites which was weird since the doors to the Fairfield were only able to open with a key which I did not have yet! But the next day, the check in/out desk at the Fairfield was open again.

Absolute worst experience out of hundreds of hotels. The staff was impossibly rude and unaccomadating. The room was over priced and could not be cooled below 79 degrees, despite multiple requests to the front desk. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here

They kept running out of towels and wash cloths. We were only there 2 nights and only received 5 washcloths after asking 4 different times.

Nice big room. Great location. My only complaint..no clock in the room.

We enjoyed our stay while in town for graduation. The lobby for this oddly joined hotel was ALWAYS busy on the other side (where you have to check in after a certain point in the night) but the employees were truly so kind and gracious and made the very best of the situation. The parking was slightly confusing as well but ultimately worked out.. Rooms were clean and updated. Room service is only available on request but they did bring us extra pillows when we requested them. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was quite good, and hot coffee, water, and hot water were always in the lobby, which was so nice! We walked to a different restaurant each night, many good places within half a mile. Overall, a nice stay! We would come again.

We stayed here with a package for the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby. All I can say is everyone at this hotel was amazing!! They put on a great cocktail reception Thursday night, serving Oaks Lilies, Mint Juleps, and appetizers (including wonderful little desserts that I couldn't get enough of!) They also had a musician playing and had someone selling fascinators and paintings. Every morning the breakfasts were fantastic and we were able to get mimosas to take with us on the shuttle to the racetrack. On Derby morning, my husband and I couldn't figure out how to tie his bow tie and the general manager was called to assist us, which he did happily! We watched all the staff members busting their tails all weekend and they all did it with smiles on their faces. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!

Great hotel, nice and central location also. The rooms were clean and nice and the walls are quite thick so I couldn’t hear anything from the room next door. There are two hotels that attach here but only one lobby was open so we just had to walk over to the other one, a minor inconvenience. They offer parking but typically charge for it, heads up. We loved the pool vibes also, big indoor pool that is heated. We missed the breakfast but the shower pressure was great and dill definitely be back, thanks guys

Decent. The staff are friendly, albeit slow. The rooms are nice enough but very small. The location is great, but the parking is $17 as a guest, and that's absurd. Parking should come with the room or be something mildly reasonable, not the same price as you could pay at any downtown parking lot.

The night that I checked in I was so that it was okay for me to have my dog with me. I got two nights at the hotel but could only stay one because of this confusion of my pet. The hotel workers were extremely rude about it the following day

In Downtown area a great option for a hotel. This is a two hotel brand in one building, so it was interesting. Spring hill on one side and fairfield on the other, both Marriott Bonvoy brands. All check-in was done on the springhill side counter which is the first check in you walk into from the parking area. Room was big and comfortable, it has a shower tub med to small size. Continental breakfast is included and most of the service was great. Some were just barely there for customer service but overall a great value stay for me and I'd stay here again of needed.

The worst experience / customer service I have ever received. I have worked in hotels, restaurants, and retail and I have never talked to anyone like this or even heard anyone be so rude and hateful to a paying customer. If you want to relax, don't bother. You'll see roaches in the halls and you'll have black sticky carpet. Half of the hotel will be closed and you'll have to check in on the other side. Everyone was so confused checking in but I was nice. Then when they want to ask for my credit card to charge parking and not even ask, or tell me I still didn't say anything. The next day when they had a concert and left the GATES OPEN for anyone to park, I call to see what we do for parking we paid for and the reception had an automatic attitude. So much more hatefulness to even explain. I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS HOTEL. I will get the word out in Nashville through my job at a news station; how much to avoid this place!

I'm sorry if you hate your life and your job but I paid to be here, paid for a parking spot I didn't receive and when I ask for a refund if you would be professional then it would stop there. Then when I go inside the office the manager wants to defend the rudeness of her employee and she wants to literally yell sarcastically "Have a great night" as I'm LEAVING. Wow. Just wow. You are unprofessional. And the police officer wants to tell me "AND STAY OUT" uh I paid to be here. Yes if there has to be police in the lobby and security at all times. STAY AWAY. Where's the customer service. Not even customer service, where is the normal behavior? I'm still waiting for corporate to call me back because I have never experienced anything like this before. I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS HOTEL.

We came for a weekend trip for a concert in town at the Yum Center. It is a convenient location downtown. Customer service from the desk was non-existent at times with no one present at all. When someone was present they were rude or not helpful. The room was okay, but floor was stained. Pillows had a mildew smell. One of the beds appeared to have been pissed in. They would not allow for a late checkout. No accommodation what so ever. I would not recommend staying here for the price of the hotel.

Rooms were clean but we couldn't get towels delivered when we requested them. We just had one washcloth & two towels for the two of us. They said they didn't have any! A hotel this expensive should be able to give their guests plenty of towels! Also the ice machine was broke completely on our floor. Went down & got ice but the machine was dirty & had broken plastic.

IlStayed here July 9-13.Hotel was average. Was staying here for work with two other team members. On Tuesday night one of my girls had someone walk into her room with a key while she was sleeping. The hotel did move her to another room but it didn’t help with the anxiety of someone walking in on her. We went to leave this morning and my car had been broke into and whoever did it took all the change I had in the console and my Tampons and pads. I’ve tried calling the hotel to let them know but their phones just ring busy. Not a safe place to stay. Don’t recommend this hotel at all

One night while driving thru. Pay to park so be aware. Convenient location right off the I65/I64 interchange. Great breakfast offering. Attached to Springhill Suites where you check in. No Fairfield Staffed front desk.

I had an excellent stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Louisville Downtown. The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet, and good value. The staff was terrific--friendly and professional. The fitness facility, shared with the Springhill Suites in this dual property, was well-equipped and modern. Breakfast was better than usually found at this category of hotel. The hotel is well-located near tourist attractions in downtown Louisville...an easy walk.

Rooms are very small. Hotel is located within walking distance of many things. Was clean, bed was comfortable. Price was good. The outlets on the desk lamp did not work. One outlet extender with 3 outlets was available on one nightstand. No other outlets in the room. We'd stay here again but we'd book the suite (which is what I thought I did) so we had more space.

The worst Stood in line for over an hour to check in. Seems like there is only one person working and he has to check people in and then go clean rooms. Marriott is on pace to me becoming a Hilton Loyalist by the end of the year.

Every time I tried to call in house from phone in our room, all I got was a busy signal. Housekeeping didn't come as they were supposed to. We had to go downstairs for our request for towels, tissue etc. Front desk clerk was not there a lot of times, and since it was 2 hotels in one it was hard to find her.

you get what you pay for, so this is on me. It's like I stayed in a casino hotel in 1996. The floor was a weird orange pattern, smelled a little weird, there was nothing but a tiny bar of soap in the bathroom. The cups in the room were just unwrapped plastic cups. The breakfast included prewrapped microwaved eggwhite "frittata" that were just nasty. I thought that there wouldn't be that much of a difference between the Springfield next door and the courtyard 2 blocks away and the price was a better deal... I was wrong. The next night I moved to the courtyard. However, Ebony was awesome and was the highlight of my stay. She was great 😃

Hotel was dated and dirty. If you have to stay in this area, the Springhill Suites is attached and is much newer. Huge stains on the carpet, no hand soap in the bathroom. I am not confident the sheets were clean. The front desk staff and the breakfast attendant were really friendly…HOUSEKEEPING NOT SO MUCH!!! When we were leaving, a group of them gathered on the 6th floor and stood around. We green Ed some of them but no one would talk or smile. We tried to stay out of their way as we were making our way to the ice machine and the elevator with our stuff, but we got a lot of eye rolls and none of them even cared that we were trying to get through. One woman even went out of her way to hit my husband with a laundry cart!! Never again!!! We love Marriott and they should be ashamed of this hotel!!

I recently stayed at this hotel for a couple nights during my first ever trip to Louisville and it was a great experience! The staff were all very professional, yet courteous and approachable. You can’t beat the location—super close to everything we wanted to see in Louisville. Lots of restaurants within walking distance makes it easy to grab a meal or order food delivery. My only complaint is that the breakfast is pretty lacking, but I didn’t expect much for the great price I got!

Nice facility with extraordinarily friendly front desk staff that were quite accommodating. Close walk to downtown Louisville makes this a great choice to stay. Easy access off and on the highway too.

Nice room. I did have to wait a few minutes for a front desk agent but the customer service during the stay was top notch. They go above and beyond to help you out.

The afternoon lady was super nice. She was truly excited for me when the airline sent over my luggage for me. This hotel is a bit outdated. I think they oversold the parking lot because multiple people couldn’t find a parking spot. I do enjoy the water pressure in the shower. They only had one elevator on the Fairfield side operating.

Room was nice but the service was terrible. Nobody at front desks to check in or assist with issues. Toilet kept plugging even with the smallest amount of toilet paper. On saturday took 6 hours and 5 requests including 1 directly to the maintainace guy in the hallway. Fridge in the room was not working even with it plugged in and temp turned as low as it would go. Obviously very short staffed with only a couple workers trying to run what appears to be two hotels in one. Nobody told us the breakfast was on the se ond floor in the other hotel. Our first morning there was no breakfast on our side of the hotels and no staff to ask what was happening. Though the room was nice we would never recommend anyone stay there with so many other nice places around the down town providing better service.

Avoid this hotel. It's in dire need of a refresh - everything is worn out. The plugs on the desk don't work, the wifi signal is poor, the light switches don't work well, the TV doesn't work half the time. Also, they don't offer housekeeping service - even upon request. The front desk literally told me that unless something happens in the room that makes it unlivable, they won't do housekeeping during a stay. And, they don't offer points in lieu of not providing housekeeping. I had to ask for soap three different times over two days before they finally brought some. Two days in a row, I got up to my room on the 5th floor only to find that my key didn't work, and then had to go all the way back down to the front desk to get it fixed. I put the trash leftover from my takeout food outside my door for pickup, and it just piled up for two days in a row. Although my work will require me to be in Louisville several more times this year, I will not be back to this hotel. They are failing miserably on the Marriott brand promise. They should be embarrassed.
