Went here because my wife has surgery the next day. If i could give this place a 0 I would. The room itself was ok. Coffee maker filter was not cleaned from previous people, not a deal breaker. Stayed a little over an hour and my wife runs the jacuzzi for her and my daughter. They get in and turn the jets on and brown particles was all in the tub. Went down stairs and was asking for a refund because it was disgusting. The manager was immediately aggressive and started yelling and threated me stating he had protection. Will never stay at a quality inn ever again.

We reserved a room with a King bed, whirlpool tub outside of the bathroom with a fireplace & when we arrived they had us booked for a normal king room. Working nights & a 7 hour drive we had been up over 24 hours. The front desk couldn't help us, so we spent the next 2 hours on the phone with Choice Hotels. After the first hour the gentleman said he had us booked for the right room. Giving the hotel attendant the new reservation info it still wasn't the right room. We were transferred to customer relations & she offered us 12,000 points to not take it any further. We refused & was told the room we reserved was available, but only for 3 of our 4 night stay. At this point we excepted a room we did not want or the room we had not reserved. We were given a confirmation number to speak to a manager & when we called they said that confirmation number wouldn't pull up. We are diamond members & want to be refunded all of our points for the stay, but was told we could only get half our points back since we did stay there. This was a Holiday weekend & the biggest rival football game of the yr in Louisville, so we accepted a room. The hotel was run down, the lady doing breakfast was very rude, & there was a broken down car with flat tires & car parts inside sitting in the parking lot. We couldn't use the whirlpool tub, because it was disgusting. We bleached it, but the water was still orange. We will never stay there again.

Stayed for a couple of days. The room itself and the beds were clean. It's located directly beside exit 134 off I-65S, and it's annoying to access. The hallway smelt like weed so badly that someone had to have been smoking in their room as I was there, and my room definitely had people smoking weed and cigarettes in it before. The bathroom ceiling had a crack above the shower that was growing mold slightly, but unfortunately I didn't get a picture. Overall, the price was too high for the room, but because the room and beds were clean, I give it a 3/5. I would not choose to stay here again given the choice.

Right on the interstate and by the airport this property is noisy and has much light pollution. Rooms are ok. Breakfast is ok. Staff is mildly friendly although I felt that We were much more of an inconvenience than a guest. Facility is clean for the most part but is not aging well. Just not a great feel when you get here. Asked for twin queen beds and got full beds instead. Not impressed.

purchased this room through Expedia! My husband checked us into our room while I waited in the car with our newborn. Once entering the room I noticed right away toilet clogged with fecal matter, heavy stains on couch and bed! I was not comfortable changing my newborn diaper in the room but having no where else to go I sat on maybe the cleanest part of the room, the computer chair and changed her on my lap. We were running late into town due to traffic and had to pick up my grandparents from the airport. I knew right away I will bring my concerns up to the concierge and check out. It took a hour and a half for my grandparents to get off their plane and return to the hotel. At this time the concierge and Quality Inn general manager denied a refund! I even spoke to Expedia and have a pending matter with them. I was shocked and very upset with the general manager and Expedia! It was not a safe or sanitized place to stay for myself let alone my newborn infant who spent a month and a half in the Intensive care NICU unit. Extremely dissatisfied with this Quality Inn! They claim to have updated their rooms in 2016 but the couch alone had to be over 10 years old. It was heavily stained and needed burned!!

This is for room 319. Diamond member here. Staff is 100% 20 something males who are barely interested in helping. Did not offer me a treat or points on checkin. Asked for cash for the cash only vending machines. No cash or ATM. They told me to walk a block to the gas station for cash (and pointed). I did and bought drinks and snax while i was there. Outside doors always locked. Neighborhood a little suspect. Rooms are very nice, but the A/C in this room had one speed....meh. had to turn down temp to get any air. Carpets are oldish as is the furniture and fixtures. Didn't use the whirlpool based on another review. Walls are bare. Looks like someone stole the artwork (see photos). Bed was comfy, but pillows too squishy. Didn't eat breakfast. Stay at your own discretion. There is a Comfort Inn down the road that has better accommodations for about the same price.

Absolutely the worst hotel I've stayed at. The rooms are dirty and the staff is rude and unprofessional. The place looks like it's ran by a slum lord and looks like it would have roaches and bedbugs and it wouldnt surprise me if it did. I checked out after 15 minutes because of the quality and cleanliness. I was refused a refund and called a liar. The bathroom had poop on the floor from the previous guest the tub was dirty and had pink mold on it. The walls and light switch plates were dirty. The sheets were stained the cabinets were all painted and most of them don't open. The room smelled of old rotten garbage. The hallways were littered with dirt and don't look like they have been cleaned in quite awhile. The elevator was janky and hardly worked. I have never been treated this badly by a hotel. I read the reviews when I got back home and I wish I would have saved my time and money and went else where.

The rooms are descent and pretty well maintained and clean. The pool however could have been cleaned out more frequently though, I was getting hair wrapped around my fingers and toes and was getting off of my children, and it wasn't even our hair's (eewwww). The staff was very courtesy and professional though. The only down-fall from our stay was that the toilet in our room didn't flush, which we didn't even realize till we were already unpacked and settled (not sure why they put us in that room in the first place). When I went to tell them, they already knew about it and said a plumber was coming in the morning at 8 am, but if I didn't want to let them in at that time, it was fine (like really, you want me to let a stranger in my room, while my family is still sleeping), so of course I said no. Think goodness we were just a few doors down from the public restrooms, so we survived the one night stay. The convenience of the location is why I chose it in the first place, so we made do.

ZERO STARS-Biggest piece of garbage hotel establishment in Louisville. The rooms all smell like cigarettes even though the rooms say no smoking. The staff can’t even provide a febreze or glade plug-in. The staff also scams you out of money. We were in our room for 30 minutes and as we asked to cancel they said they have to charge us for the night because we spent too long in our room. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. DON’T BOOK.

The only good thing about this hotel is getting to leave. We were in town for the Beyoncé concert. Our first room stank of cigarette smoke, there was blood on the coverlet, hair in the bathtub, and the whole room was just dirty. Our second room had dirt on the walls, more hair in the bathtub, and generally again was not clean. We did not feel comfortable sleeping here whatsoever due to how filthy things were. The front desk attendant Ali initially offered 15% off our stay but we were adamant that this was beyond repair and finally got a refund as we left and promptly booked at the Embassy Suites in downtown - highly recommend that establishment. I was not impressed with the front desk’s lackadaisical attitude towards the state of our rooms and he refused to let us talk to the manager, John, on duty. They charge $100 for incidentals at the time of check-in, and yet we had BLOOD on our duvet??? You couldn’t pay me to stay here.

This is a solid place to stay: the prices were not too bad, especially for a room for four people that included a kitchen set and a jetted tub! I stayed with friends for a night and we had a good time. It could have been a little bit cleaner: the toilet seat was dusty and the bathtub was a little dirty and needed to be cleaned before operation. Still, one of the only hotels in louisville with a decent sized hot tub, and we would definitely stay here again!

I’m writing this review to compliment the night employee (Jackie) for his positive attitude and willingness to make sure we were taken care of. The hotel is a budget level place but the room was clean and the sheets were comfy. Thanks Jackie for your willingness to listen and solve problems (even if the problem wasn’t the fault of the hotel).

So I love that it's next to the beautiful UofL campus and that the rooms were more affordable than anything else I could find for the time. (Total of $275 plus tax for two nights) However, it just felt really cheap especially the coffee in the room that's just for steeping instead of brewing. Steeping cheap coffee is disgusting. It would have been nice to have a few little water bottles or something in the mini fridge instead of bad coffee. Toiletries are standard, plenty of towels but what I did like was the fact that my tub had a Jacuzzi that seemed totally clean and worked well. AC worked quite well and I was cold at 69° but I see in other comments the experience differs with the AC. Hotel definitely wasn't quiet and I had trouble sleeping because the walls are so thin and not structurally sound.

The man at the front desk was amazing! We had a herd of children for the NASP National Archery Tournament. The breakfast was great. The kids got to make their own waffles!! The rooms are very clean. Overall it was a great experience.

The place was FILTHY!!! I didn't want to take off of my clothes to get in the bed. We stayed only an hour or two before we decided that we just couldn't tolerate it and checked out.

Entire hotel smells like smoke. Our room was on the third floor and you couldn’t pay me to sleep in that room. Love the jacuzzi tubs though.

Clean showers, huge whirlpool, warm/hot water, kitchenette, plenty of towels/wash clothes, delicious full-spread breakfast, indoor pool, fresh bedsheets daily, helpful staff, and fully-lit parking lot. I will DEFINITELY come back and stay another 4 Days/3 nights.

When we entered room temperature was set to 83 degrees. It took over 3 hours to bring it down to 66. The reason was to cover up the loud noise that the blower fan would make every time the unit cycled. Due to this noise I probably had about 3 hours of sleep.During the night the cold water failed and the water tank on the toilet would not fill, limiting the ability to flush the commode. Even thou we had a reservation they require a $100.00 security deposit to be used against possible damage to property. Of all the motels and hotels I have been in this one is definitely one of the worst

The manager was great and made things better by moving us to rooms that didn’t smell like smoke

They have a roach problem.... they are attempting to kill/ keep them out as you can see with the bait EVERY WHERE! House keeping aint really good. 😒 i had someone elses hair all over the sink and mold on the bath. I also check every bed and when i pulled everything back i discovered a old LARGE pee spot.

Absolutely love this Hotel. Front desk person Gunjan was super helpful in helping deal with my layover here. Breakfast was one of the best hotel experiences I have had in years! I love the Jacuzzi bath tub as well!

Upon entry to the room the bed wasn't made and the sheets were dirty. We called the front desk and four people came to the room. We showed them the dirty, soiled sheets and they began speaking in their native tongue to one another. They made the bed and walked out. The pool was drained. The rooms smelled of smoke. Looked like blood splatter on ceiling.

The beds were not great. They were hard, and not at all great for sleeping. Our air conditioner did not want to turn on and it was always hot in our room. The breakfast was ok, however, not really warm, and when you have to ask the attendant for a drink. When I walked in at 630, when they opened for breakfast, he was sitting on his phone and there was no plates out. Our shower had no hot water. I have to say the manager was nice. And, in a pinch, it was decent to stay in. It would not be my first choice, but, it was in the area we needed to be in.

A lot of trouble checking in, told because I booked 3rd party? Nice staff. Nice rooms. Great breakfast that included sausage eggs, biscuits, and a waffle Iron. All the good stuff. They've had bacon also!
