😐 Stopped here to grab a few photos of the sunset over the beautiful mountains. Pretty cool spot. It’s primarily used for dog walkers and runners, though has a stunning view. Parking was pretty limited, though it looked like there was more across the main road. I’d consider this a heavily traffick... People often mention walk, lake,

Stopped here to grab a few photos of the sunset over the beautiful mountains. Pretty cool spot. It’s primarily used for dog walkers and runners, though has a stunning view. Parking was pretty limited, though it looked like there was more across the main road. I’d consider this a heavily trafficked area —there were way more people than what I enjoy.

It's a great place to walk around. It's a great place to not take your dog for a walk. It's a terrible place for fishing. Whomever said the lake is stocked with fish are big fat liars. There's plenty of crawdads but that's about it. And plenty of Satan's pets, aka Canadian geese.

A quiet and beautiful place for evening walks. The view of the lake with mountains in background is just amazing!! Quiet a few houses nearby were affected by the recent forest fire. Hope it will get back to its old glory soon!

Nice 9/10 mile stone path around Harper Lake with amazing views of the mountains! The path connects with a larger trail that go pass the lake. There is a public bathroom site and about 15 parking spots.

Harper Lake is a laid back, less crowded place for a quick walk, jogging or biking. Breathtaking views of rockies from part of the trail around the lake. Dodging goose poop can be a bit challenging at places along the trail :-)

Amazing views. Well maintained, wide gravel trail. Almost exactly a mile around the lake. Perfect for running workouts.

Harper Lake is one of my favorite places to walk... it's just about a mile and no dogs yes geese but it's a pretty walk a gravel trail... it's also fun to bike.

Nice and quite very pretty view of the sun rise. This is a park that no dogs are allowed at tho. I guess it has something to do with the water there. I didn't read the song completely but you get the point no dogs allowed quickly.

One of our favorite tranquil places to sit at a bench and enjoy the views. We love the small snapshots of wildlife like the geese, sometimes eagles, and other birds. It's nice to walk around the lake however the growth from all the rain has made it challenging to get at the lake's edges. It's a great place for some fishing, canoeing, and skipping rocks.
