Was a great guided tour. Sry I don't remeber the nice young lady's name. But she is fantastic and very knowledgeable

Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteer gave us an extensive tour. The museum was all that I could expect. I just wish they had asked if we wanted a tour and how much time we had before starting. I had to cut things short a bit which I felt bad about but I just didn’t have time for the full tour. Otherwise great.

I love little museums like this. It's chocked full of great little pieces of history. It's a great way for us to keep in touch with our history. Especially when our history involves a great deal of sacrifice.

Visited this week and it was amazing. Wanted to find out more about local coal mining and the 1913-1914 strike. K. knew her topic extremely well and the visit was a real delight. Be sure to give yourself time to see the house next door that is part of the museum - how folks lived 100 years ago is amazing. The mining artifacts are well-preserved and informative. Well worth the trip to Louisville.

This historical museum is a great place to spend 20 minutes or 3 hours. The main building has several interesting exhibits about Louisville's history as a mining town. In my opinion the two remote buildings with the scale replica of Louisville and the (mostly) unchanged home from the early 1900s are well worth the time. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly and happy to answer questions.

A small fun museum to visit. We spent over one hour instead original planned 20 minutes with the friendly n knowledgeable staff. Be sure to visit two other buildings to view model of the old town n things people used decades ago. Both admission n parking are free.

Jason gave us an awesome tour today! I didn’t realize there are 4 buildings that are part of the museum. The working phonograph in the Rossi home was the highlight for me.

Stopped in on a Saturday with elderly visitors. Summer was a wonderful guide. We toured three historical buildings and learned about the history of Louisville. Great experience and such a hidden gem.
