My husband found this gorgeous hidden jem while going to the jewelry shop next door. He knows how much I love tea and took me on a date here, i bought so much tea samples (7-8 sample bags), a larger bag of sakura tea (which i recommend) and a 2 large matcha lemonade to go! (Also highly highly recommended) I think we spent about $80 (this includes the tip we left), so this is definitely worth it considering how much we got. This is my new favorite spot, and I look forward to stopping by every week after my day at work! The tea samples we had and the ones I took home smelled and tasted amazing!!! The nice lady in the store was so sweet 🩷🩷 it's nice that they put out the tea leaves that correspond to the tea bags and give you samples before you buy. I can't wait to become a regular here 🪷🩷

20230912 So glad I finally made it! Wow! This store has so many different tea. I looked around online first before stopping in and had my shopping list ready. I looked around first, and there is much stuffed neatly packed into this store. Kind of reminds me of a Hallmark gift shop but for tea. The owner I met today is 1 of the 4 owners. She got me samples of the 5 tea I was interested in to see and smell, and she provided a card with info on ingredients for each tea. What's interesting is that she quickly collected each card as she brought another sample out. I picked 3 to try and will order if I end up liking them. I also bought 2 that were on sale, sounded yummy and fruity. You can also order tea to drink thereor to go. They have a nice counter set up for that. The owner was helpful, informative, and professional. There was 2 ladies there looking to buy tea but they were there when I got there and after I left. For some reasons, I felt rushed. I would have prefer a little friendlier and welcoming service. I prefer my shopping experience more fun, rather than just a business transaction... order, pay and leave. It's all about the experience. I still tipped her 15% for my purchase, even though she didn't spend much time with me. She quickly returned to those 2 customers and 1 just walked in as I was leaving. Will update this review once I have a chance to try the tea when I got home. Hope the tea is good. 202207 One of the things that annoys me most is... when I'm on vacation, finally made it to a business, and they are closed!! 🙄 I'm heading home tomorrow and unlikely to make it back. Oh well... maybe I will take my chances and order online when I get home.

I went for a tea and cheese tasting to try some of their tea. Staff was very knowledgeable, but I had to ask multiple questions to pull it out of her. I got to try three different teas for $5. Not bad if you like the ones on offer that day. The "cheese" was actually a little scoop of cream cheese. Not what I was expecting. Still, a nice shop with a large selection of loose leaf teas. The "menu" was overwhelming to me, so I told the worker what I liked and she let me smell some of the ones I was interested in. I bought a small selection to try. The prices for the tea itself are a bit high, but still cheaper to make your own at home if you find one you like. Cute shop with gifts and tea accessories available as well.

I bought a sampler (3 small bags of loose leaf tea for $15). I am trying seasonal flavors this time. I received a coupon in my email but I forgot to use it at the last minute! I also forgot to use my punch card. Oh well! I will be back again! The staff is so knowledgeable about their products!

They were very busy today but the one person working there quickly and efficiently answered questions, brewed and bagged tea, and checked customers out. Great selection of teas and accessories and a friendly helpful staff. We love the Louisville Tea Co.

This is such a cute store, they have a ton of different flavors of tea to choose from. I got the Lavender Shortbread and a sleepy tea. Both teas were really fun to drink. I really love the peppermint flavor that's in the sleepy tea! I would love to go back and purchase more.

My favorite local tea business! They carry my favorite tea ever (lavender shortbread) and many other delicious blends. The staff has been helpful and kind the times I've visited. They also have many tea-lovers gifts to browse and Louisville merch. I'll keep coming back to support them for sure!

I recently visited another tea shop and this one. This one has so many teas to sample, and purchase by the ounce. Knowledgeable staff is important. When I asked questions at the other place I was told they don’t drink tea 😒 This store also sells so many tea items for the newbie along with experienced. Definitely best spot in Louisville for tea

Such a wonderful tea company, the aesthetic and service alone is impeccable but the quality of tea plus the assortment of flavors is a tea drinkers heaven

Always a 10/10 experience. Reasonably priced and a huge selection of teas. I've been going here for over a decade. I have never once had a bad experience. Sarah and Sophia are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They always have a ready smile and kind word to impart, making the atmosphere as magical and pleasant as their decor. (Which they do themselves seasonally.)

Such a cut place. I went to pick up some mother's Day gifts. They have a bar to sit and drink your tea and probably a hundred different flavors. The gift shop is inviting with items such as tea, tea pots, cards and earrings.

Huge variety of tea and other lovely products (tea sets, strainers, and trinkets like earrings and stickers). There's definitely a tea here for everyone. I also like the cups with dry tea available to smell. You can get tea to bring home and brew, or a tea to-go if you don't feel like putting the work in. Delicious either way!

I recently visited here for the first time and it was wonderful. The shop is very cute, the person who helped me was kind and informative when I had questions, and the tea tasting was a fun experience! I bought a few teas and they are super high quality and taste great. I can't wait to go back again and buy more.

We came here because we’ve been looking for a place to get a nice variety of loose leaf teas and I’m happy to report that they have a fun selection. In addition to tea leaves, they have a cute selection of tea pots, tea mugs, tea sets, stickers, and other items you might want. The interior is decorated in a cottage core inspired vibe. Most importantly, the person who helped us was very knowledgeable about their selection and products.

Edit: The spring/ summer 2022 seasonal teas are delicious! Don't miss the rainforest leopard and pink guava! So friendly and knowledgeable. They always answer all my questions and I have enjoyed the tea so much. There's plenty of choices.

The store was so cozy! When I asked about a tea the staff happily told me what was in there, told me how the different parts mixed together (both scent-wise and in terms of flavor!), but also poured some tea into a small container for me to see (or smell) for myself! They had such a huge variety of teas available that I could have easily spent all day and hundreds of dollars sampling and buying everything (which made it VERY hard to only pick a handful to take home with me!)

What a fantastic shop! It's so cozy and filled with great energy! The decorations fit the atmosphere so perfectly, and I talked with one of the owners, and she was an absolute sweetheart, and so knowledgeable! She answered all of my questions even when I couldn't figure out how to phrase them! I'm so excited to have found this place and will definitely be back!

😐 The food here is delicious, however the grown woman that takes orders over the phone REALLY needs to work on her customer service skills. She was very rude and I felt as if I had bothered her when I placed my order over the phone. I takes zero effort to be kind.
