I love that the point is always pretty clean and taken care of. Definitely recommended for a family picnic or just watching the sunset on a blanket. The only real cons are locked bathrooms at the end and gates close around 6:30pm.

Lovely location for a picnic, or great place to launch your boat for fun or pleasure on the water; enjoy the shade under large trees or sunshine spread across the grass, take in the fresh air, nice breezes and views across the lake. Not sure about fishing, but the jet-skiers have a great time! Careful finding your turn off the main highway, signage is inadequate. This park could use some volunteers to pick up debris and litter, also maintenance of eroded grounds where trip hazards can cause accidents along the banks.

Louisville Point Park is a beautiful and peaceful community park. It's surrounded by the calm water. It has picnic tables with grilled along the shore, boat ramp, picnic pavilion, children's playground, vending machines.... The staff I met was very kind. Love it! If I have anything to complain - it closes at sundown.

Great park. Great views & breezes over the water. Perfect for a family afternoon of fishing, swimming or simply having a picnic at one of the picnic tables. Dog walk area. Unfortunately people left their garbage behind in some areas. 🙄

The Louisville point Park is where we have our annual church picnic and we love this facility. It has a covered pavilion where we can eat and fellowship, the restrooms are easily accessible, the playground is very nice for small children and I love that they have a volleyball net across the access road. Of course, the water is there for fishing, canoeing and swimming. It really is a perfect gathering place.

Very pretty scenery and a good place to go if you want to sit and think, take some pictures or enjoy some peace. You can also swim, play volleyball, picnic, boat, etc… and even when it’s semi-busy it’s not overcrowded in my experience.

I come here when I get a chance to take some photos and have for the past 20 years. Well kept up and clean public park. Good picnic area.

Love going there to swim and cook out. But even though they have a sign saying swim at your own risk. I believe they could add a couple of metal rails to help people to get in and out of the water safely. They make the rest of the park safe and friendly. Really nice. But it's hard to get in and out of the water for us older people.

While on a motorcycle ride I stopped in to find a nice picnic table with good view of the river. This was a Friday afternoon about 3:00 pm. The park was open and spacious with very few people the parking lots had a total of 3 cars. There is also a boat ramp and volleyball court along with plenty of picnic tables.

Great spot to visit. They have a really nice pavilion area that can be reserved, a small playground, volleyball setup, boat ramps, picnic tables and restroom. Also have vending machines. Very clean area. Watch out for the intense speed bumps.

Came here for the first time for Father’s Day Sunday. Luckily we arrived early to get a good shade spot along the shore with a picnic table. There are a lot of places to setup for a great day at the lake. Traffic on the water was high but it was Father’s Day so it was to be expected, Not sure how it is on most days. Management team keeps this place very well taken care of. We will definitely be coming back for another great day at the lake.

A great place to have a get together. It's nice when you are able to reserve the huge pavilion to sit under. The playground is nearby as well as some bathrooms.

Nice park, fair boat launch, but dirty. Launched kayak and went fishing which was nice.
