I had lunch here and it was great. Great food, friendly staff, and clean establishment. I had the 1/2 chicken dinner with fries and cole slaw.

Can't say enough good things... Well, maybe I'll give it a shot. The young man at the counter was very friendly and funny. Staff kept walking around offering hush puppy samples and making light conversation. I even saw the shift manager come out and clean/set tables! How awesome is that?! This place instills quality work ethic and customer service like a top notch restaurant at a fraction of the cost. Definitely has that Home away from Home feeling.

Food was great..if your patient..or possibly use online ordering..just saying I think they could be way more efficient at getting orders taken and food out to customers if maybe there was more direction? ..so once trays line the counter inside anyway..orders stop being taken until the trays are filled with orders and there's room to take more to fill. Unless you've seen this..you may not understand what I'm explaining..but they could serve more customers better..and better their own profits if it was effectively run..but hey I'm just an observer getting dinner😂

The food wasn't too bad or the service but sitting there trying to enjoy my food while two kids walked around with no shoes on or laying on top of each other and horse play and having their bare feet and sometimes a blanket up and down the walls are un called for I a business specially at a restaurant. I know it's fall break but these kid's are old enough to been left home. They were also playing loud music and the employee that was cleaning the tables didn't say a word to these kids.

This was our first time having our supper here and it was really good barbecue! Everything we had was hot . We chose to have the hot fudge cake for dessert and it was plenty for 2 people. We really enjoyed dining here. There was also a person cleaning the tables and chairs exceptionally well for covid. We highly recommend this place!

I got take-out, but the lady preparing the plate missed the tak-out request and had to repackage the meal. Also had to ask for additional baroque sauce again although the order taker had noted this. Buddy's is a great Bar-B-Que place to eat and when in East TN I definitely stop in.

Buddy's BBQ is an absolute gem and has earned its well-deserved 5/5 stars! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness that made me feel right at home. The menu selection was outstanding, offering a mouthwatering array of barbecue delights that catered to all tastes. The food itself was simply phenomenal; the smoky and tender meats were perfectly complemented by their delectable signature sauces. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who ensured every need was met. I cannot recommend Buddy's BBQ enough – it's a must-visit for anyone craving top-notch barbecue and an all-around delightful dining experience.

This is ABSOLUTELY the worst BBQ I have ever had. Everything is like straight out of a can. Horrible! The brisket tastes and looks like processed meat.

I still like the food and atmosphere. My family went for all you can eat ribs. Getting more ribs seems to be a problem for the staff. IF they come out with more, they seem like it's a hindrance. I had to go to the counter and ask for more. The guy rolled his eyes, huffed and said he would be out soon. Ten minutes later, there were still no ribs. He caught us at the door and said I was on my way. This isn't the first time with poor service. But, it was never this bad or rude.

Fast drive threw service!! I didn’t go inside today but it’s so nice clean and pretty The food is great baked beans,pork, potato salad and hush puppies are so good give it a try!! Maryville Tn.

Good place for affordable BBQ and very generous portion sizes! Only downside is they only have one kind of BBQ sauce and a spicy one that doesn’t really taste like BBQ. Still good though, definitely recommend 👍

Always a great place to get Bar-B-Q, lots of choices, it's hard to decide sometimes, because it ALL good!! Fast service, smiling faces and the hush puppies are the BEST!! Did I mention that you get more hush puppies if you dine in??? Mmmmm.......hush puppies.

We enjoyed our meal at Buddy’s tonight and it was our first time at the restaurant. Everything from the brisket/ribs/wings to hush puppies were delicious. The highlight of our evening, however, were the two young ladies helping in the dining area. Both were very attentive and helpful. The tall blonde lady was polite and made sure we had everything we needed. The small, blonde lady always had a beautiful smile on her face and made our family feel welcomed and well-cared for during our entire dinner. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a cozy, yet delicious, dining experience by yourself or with your family.

We have frequently gone on Tuesdays, which are when they offer their special priced dinners. It has always been a good experience. Our most recent trip was AWFUL! The ice machine didn’t work. The female workers at the front were hateful and snippy when asked for ice. My husband’s order of wings was prepared incorrectly and he was told that someone else took his, not offering him a correct order.

Service was quick, food was great, dinning room was very clean.

Possibly some of the best food I've ever eaten, it is the same fresh, hot food every time at every location, and the newer locations are actually beautiful inside

So we eat here almost every Saturday for all you can eat ribs. But the service has been HORRIBLE the kids working here have zero sense of work ethic or common sense. Before anyone thinks staffing shortages they had 11 people working and we stood at counter in line for over 28 mins without 1 order being taken. The rib refills never came and when you asked for them they staff acted as if it was a huge inconvenience. It was actually painful dining here tonight. The food was fine.

My husband and I had the baked potato with BBQ pork on it. It was so good. I'm a fan of the hush puppies too. I am definitely coming back. I enjoyed ordering online and skipping the line to pickup my order.

Stopped in on Friday for lunch and sadly had a bad experience. Placed order for pulled pork and pulled chicken. We could see our plates before they gave them to us and instead of pulled chicken they gave us bone on chicken. We asked them to fix it nicely and the answer was it was too late as already on the plate. Seriously? It was still behind the counter so would have been so easy to fix. Instead they shoved the plate at us. While we were waiting for our food (the wrong food) a guy came in who had just been through the drive thru. His loaded potatoes were bare. Literally nothing on them. They argued at first but eventually fixed his order. Not sure what was going on but they made the customer feel like a criminal when they were the ones who messed up. Food was okay. Pulled pork good and green beans were delicious. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Ate 3 bites. Slaw and potato salad decent but lacked flavor. I understand mistakes happen but it's how you respond that makes an experience and builds loyalty. They lost a customer and the word of mouth that comes from a happy one.

Got in line at 1:18 pm, 25 minutes until my order was taken!!! There's one poor lady working the counter alone... taking orders, preparing huge to-go orders, and the line is out the door!!! That lady should be making $30 an hour, as she is doing 3 people's work, alone!! The drive thru line is the same. WHERE IS THE MANAGER? ITS one of YOUR BUSIEST DAYS OF THE WEEK, NO? What about people who only get a 30 MINUTE Break for lunch?! You used to be a great restaurant.

Buddy's Barbecue is our stand by. We were waited on promptly by a friendly staff member. We enjoyed a nice meal. We were seated near pleasant fellow customers. My granddaughter age 22 months is a real chow hound. She ate wonderfully and then had time to turn around and flirt with the two men in the next booth. They were good sports and played along. We left with a happy little girl who was sleepy from a full tummy.
