Two stars? Yeah I know that's a little rough, kind of like the ground in this dog park. We had hope when we saw that it had a pond but once we got inside we realized the pond area has been locked off. But when you think about the other dog parks in the area and you look around outside this park and you see the beautiful green natural environment, you have to wonder who thought it would be a great idea to bulldoze all of that out and pour gravel on the ground? I wonder if gravel feels any better on dog's feet than it feels on mine? The park is big, but the trash cans are few and the poop bags are even fewer. They have little Gates and fences around all the bushes and trees so that the dogs, maybe it isn't for the dogs benefit, but who cares? So as dog parks go, especially in the state of Colorado, this park not only missed the mark it may have almost shot itself in the head?

There is NO access to the water. You can NOT take your dog swimming unfortunately. It's blocked off.

Well maintained Dog Park with 3 separated sections all using packed dirt: large dog, small dog, and swimming pond (summer only). There is fresh running water, nearby bathrooms, a few trees,a covered bench, and compostable dog waste collection. The reclaimed water pond does grow quite a bit of algae when hot and no recent rain to circulate the water. Its in the middle of Louisville's main park providing parking and other park activities and community.

Not always the best dogs here. A lot of people just want to show up and throw the ball to their dog exclusively and get really angry when another dog wants to play. So, not great people. I should say, always great dogs. Lol

Love this park. There’s a smaller fenced area inside around a pond. My dogs love the water. Responsible owners, never had any issues here. One of the best off leash parks in the metro area. Also right next to a beautiful family park with covered picnic areas, bathrooms, kids play area and small splash pad for kiddos. Great place for the whole family, including your four-legged ones.

Nice park but I wouldn't have drove all the way out here if I knew the "swimming area" was reclaimed waste water. It basically says let your dog swim at your own risk. My dog drinks a lot of water when he swims so I didn't let him swim.

I absolutely love this park. I took my two dogs (1yo and 9yo) we went straight to the pond area where dogs could swim in the water. There are three separate park areas for the dogs to play. They enjoyed it so much. The main park next to the pond is closed off for dogs who aren't interested in the water area. It was great.

Great quiet park for kids with a decent sized splash pad and playground. The dog park is far enough away where dogs aren’t distracted by children and vice versa. Great scenery and the park is well kept.

My dog and I have a great time playing at this dog park! It's nice to have an option for her to take a swim but since the pond is in a separate gated area, I can opt out of having a wet dog if we don't have time to dry off that day 🙂. It's small enough to be able to keep an eye on her and have never experienced aggressive dogs there.

This dog park is pretty great. I've taken my dog here twice. Once when there's a bunch of dogs and they're all chasing and wrestling with my pup. Another time tonight I took him where there was no dogs. They've got a pretty good amount of space for a dog to run around. Currently it looks like they're doing a slight renovation on the west side of the dog park. But it's really nice amount of space. As well it's right next to the park. The first time I took my dog here all the dogs were chasing him. It was kind of hilarious.

I'm totally unqualified to review a dog park. This is the first time I've ever been to a dog park. My dog really enjoyed itself. The people were friendly. I guess that's what you're supposed to get at a dog park.

Always a positive experience here. Good people and good dogs are always here when we arrive. Clean and plenty of space to play.
