Ian does a wonderful job! He enjoys what he does and is fun to chat with also. He takes his time and pays close attention to detail and my hair is always perfect. I go to him for a skin fade or razor fade. The price is very reasonable at $15 when I have been to shops that charge $20. I have never waited, but wouldn’t mind if I needed to.

Last week was my first visit. Lance cut my hair and did a great job. The guy who cut my hair for years retired. I haven’t been happy with the cut I got from the last 3 places but looks like my hair has found a new home. I’ll be back. As a side note, I thought it was cool that Fern Creek Barber Shop has a vacuum system hooked up to prevent hair from falling all over your clothes and on the floor. Been going here off and on for about 15+ years. Talented barbers and friendly atmosphere. They can do all sorts of styles too, especially for the younger kids like my son. This is a very affordable and quality shop, although I do miss the bow ties.

It's hard to find a good, old-school barber shop where they use a straight razor and hot shaving cream. And their vacuum on the clippers actually works, so you don't get hair all over yourself and itch the rest of the day. I enjoy the whole experience here.

4 barbers are usually on duty. It's like a trip back in time. All of the barbers are excellent, apparently much better than most regarding shorter cuts, fades, etc. You still get a straight razor trombone there too

That man James gives one of the best low/mid/high fade haircuts in the city of Louisville and that's just a fact.

My dad got a hair cut and after looking for places we went here and they are quick and thank you to lance for doing a awesome job not on just his hair but his eyebrows too now he can go to Atlanta and not be hot

This is one of the best barbershop in Louisville. I’ve done the higher end place with results that we’re less than stellar, not at Fern Creek Barbershop. The hot shaving cream and straight blade clean up to blend in my fade is an absolute must. Miguel gave me the best hair cut in the past 10 years.

Fantastic service. Friendly when we walked in. Great shave for my elderly father. He liked the atmosphere and said he'd be back. Thankful they are close to his home as well.

It was ok. Haircut was fine but guy didn’t even try to trim the front to even out the cut and make the hairline straight. Now the left side of my bangs are longer than the right side, so I’ll have to do my own cutting at home to correct this.
