Employees watching self checkout like to harass customers. It’s kind of sad that all they have to do is stand there and be nice to people and some of them can’t even manage that. It started after I walked around them to get to the only open registers, then I smiled and went straight to checking out. Apparently the “look” I gave her was unacceptable. What’s unacceptable is harassing customers that didn’t do anything to you. I got so upset and full of anxiety that I was shaking and they were still carrying. Do better. I wish I didn’t have so much anxiety because I would’ve gotten the clowns names.

Still a badly managed store when you have 15 people in front of you and only a few self check outs available. My self checkout was broken. Gave up. Went to Kroger. All that time wasted. Curious as to why when Walmart finally gets their act together and makes it an easy experience they have to change it into another insufferable experience.

I am sick of Walmart and their antics, not only do you have to scan your own groceries because they refuse to open up a check out lane, where an actual person scans them. But, as I was walking out today the older gentleman working at the door hounded me about a receipt for some disposable aluminum pans that I didn’t put in a bag, although every thing else was bagged. As he was coming after me and checking my receipt several other people that didn’t look like me and walked out without him stopping them and asking to see receipts, but proceeded to tell me Walmart lost $2million last yr. Every time I go in there I say it’s going to be my last.I absolutely hate this store

I went to the Walmart located in Fern Creek. Our family room television isn't the best. I found a reasonable deal on a tv. I was told I am required to purchase it in the electronics department. I was going to pay with cash and a gift card. Unfortunately, to my error, I didn't know the exact balance on the gift card, which in trying to narrow this down, I locked up the gift card after 3 times. While in the process of trying to get the gift card to go, I debited 50.00 to help the process along. Finally giving up, I just asked the lady to void the transaction. Here comes the issue. She gave the cash back I put in the total but did not credit the debits back but instead cash tendered them and never gave my 50.00 back either in credit or cash. She stated that the receipt was the stores but I insisted I needed it for my records. Strange!! Now, I am in the process of proving I was never rein-versed for the transaction. Easy come, easy go!

Everytime I pick up an online order for doordash/ubereats at this location it takes about 30 min for someone to come out and then another 40 min to get the items, if they actually bring them out. The most recent time a little girl walks out after over an hour of waiting and says "hey we're about to close soo" I'm like what's that mean? You guys don't have the order? She says "Guess not" lol Thanks for the heads up lol Geez

I wish I could do 0 Stars this place has gone so far downhill it's not funny. I've been shopping at this Walmart for 15 plus years. Yall do a little bit of renovating and y'all completely fall apart. Management is a laughing joke can't get help in any Department ever but you turn a corner and there's 6 of them in a circle talking they act like you bother them you guys should let Target purchase this location or at least replace some people that are a little too comfortable

Great Walmart plenty of varieties on most everything you are looking for. Sometimes they run low on fresh fruit but it's always well socked within a day. Never had any issues here love the many self checkouts makes fire a quick check out. Employees are very nice and helpful. No complaints on this location.

Have shopped at this store for many years. Over the past year I have noticed an increasing amount of deceptive business practices. Since they reset the aisles I have found several instances where the price tags in the store are wrong. In the attached picture you will see a shelf tag for a 6 oz can of almonds that states that these cost $3.57 or 22.4 cents per ounce. If you shop as I do you try and buy the most economically priced items for the amount you use you are always looking at the cost per unit. In this case the shelf tag is wrong. $3.57 divided by 6 oz = 59.5 cents per ounce not 22.4 cents as stated on the tag. This is just one example of many that I have found. Additionally. the price on the shelf is not always what rings up when you get it up front. Their Swanson broth was mispriced for weeks before the "mistake" was finally corrected. Another pet peeve is damaged cans. If I am paying full retail then I want a can that is in good condition. Since the reset the good cans are on the top shelf above where the product is sold and the damaged ones are placed on the shelf for purchase. Tip if you want an undamaged product look on the top shelf above where the product is sold. The reset of the check lanes might "look better" but the design is a real step back from the corral arrangement before. When it's busy the lines back up blocking the flow of traffic. Additionally there is no way to identify a lane that gives cash back until you have waited in line and it's too late. Inflation at the grocery store is bad enough without having the store pull a fast one on you when you are checking out. Watch those tags...

The Fern Creek location has been remodeled and the layout is nice. Not been able to view all yet. The check out lanes have been redone or remodeled. All are Self Check Out. If the store was 24 hours like it use to be, the need for cashier would be a definite. This store has had self check out prior, now all self c/o. And I see the reason. When the majority of people used self C/O the employees would just stand, stare at you, walk off with a friend or coworker, but would not help you when a problem arose, or restock Plastic Bags. I saw many people waiting and waiting, instead of "demanding help"!!! I'm sorry, but paying $16 to $18. an hour is damn good. Not long ago the pay was not much over minimum. I tried to warn employees at Self C/O "best start helping Customers that have issues or you'll find yourself out of a job"!! Well, they are now wishing they had the Cushy Job again.

They gave me a gift card for a return with no money on it. I don't live close so it's a considerable inconvenience. Watch those kids working guest service. Oh yeah AND they (fern Creek) close customer service at 9 when its always supposed to be 10, bad for business 😕

I was in space one. Space two was service twice and a third car arrived. I had been there nearly an hour. Tried entering my info a second time after 25 minutes. Both times it was received and I was notified it would be right out. After a hour I had to leave. Wish I would of left earlier. Hope they ship me my merchandise.

Received help finding what I needed as soon as we entered the store. They had a lot of nice items in the store. The shopping trip was very good 👍.

I ordered a Samsung Sound bar on 11/20/23 for pickup on 11/21/23 but I was cheated. They said it is not available for pick up and can ship it for free but it was a lie. They neither allowed shipping nor allow pick up. They already took my money. Cannot trust this Walmart. I tried to call many times but nobody pick up my call.

Got here at 5:50pm for an online pickup, it's now 7:30pm and still haven't seen more than 2 people get their things. This walmart is terrible! Update: after calling repeatedly the manager is still on lunch, over an hour now. Finally had to go in a second time and brought half own stuff out then back up to the doors and got the rest. It 7:52 btw.

Got here at 4:45, it’s 7:45 but no movement. A Walmart guy tells me the manager is at break and there is only him working on orders which is why they are backed up. He also tells me how it will still take “don’t know how much time” to bring my order out. Went to the front desk and ladies there are chatting and making fun of others. Called front desk - no answer Went inside the back door and the manager is chilling and doing nothing. The guy I spoke to also sitting inside with parking lot all backed up outside. He also demanded extra bucks for him to get me order before others. There was another customer who in front of me gave him $20 na this order was bought right to his car within 10 min

Ordered a tv on Black Friday for online delivery, the delivery driver Daniel O stole my tv! Then lied and forged my signature. Pissed! And have to wait up to 10 days for my money to be returned. So I say ok, I’ll just order another one, and pick up at the store. Day of pick up get text that my pick up time is delayed. Then hours later get another text saying my order been canceled because it is out of stock. Never again will I use this Walmart or their online order services.😡

Ordered some items for pick up at 4pm. Two minutes before my pick up, I got a text saying my ordered would be delayed for two hours. Why? A can of baked beans still needed to be picked. Called several numbers and got the run around to essentially cancel or reschedule if I didn’t want to wait. Order was finally marked as ready. Cool. When I went to pick up my items at 6pm, I ended up sitting and waiting another two hours before I decided to cancel my order. Dinner was ruined for the night and no one was happy. Do not recommend.

Everything was okay the store was very clean and customer service was fine , I only had two issues the first one is and it's my biggest issue is way too many self serve checkout . And no employees to man checkout lines , that didn't exist and finally one did open up , on the other side of the store and no fried chicken in the deli to but I mean we're in the post covid Era now . Please start opening up more man cashier stations thank you.

My husband needed a electric cart, there were none. Ask the greeter to help she just looked stupid. My husband has trouble breathing. Finally another lady helped us. Very bad experience. We watched a young lady with two of the carts, her kids were riding. She watched us as Tom was needing to sit. Another one was being ridden by a young man his grandmother got for him. Not handicapped either. I was so mad by the time we left I swore I wouldn't go back!

Don't get me wrong, they have a great selection of everything, so I choose to shop here some, but they could do a better job of keeping the bathrooms and parking lot clean. They lost a star from me because of this.

I primarily only go to this location for Pickup grocery orders or for shopping in the Electronics section when I need something same-day. The Pickup orders always have been on time for me, even large ones, except one occasion where they were over 30 minutes late and weren’t picking up the phone. However, when they finally came with my order, they explained how they were understaffed so I understand the delay. Electronics was the same way — when I actually *did* get help, they were helpful, albeit not comprehensively trained on the products in the electronics section. I will still give it a 5 star rating due to me not wanting it to reflect negatively on the *employees* — rather, the lack of labor and other issues that may be causing such a high turnover rate.

Ok, I stopped in and bought fifteen bags of top soil; I took it home and dumped it in the yard and spread it out as a top dressing for my yard. Beware, it's not top soil, or so I found out after it rained, it's mulch disguised as top soil. To their credit, they did reimburse me for all fifteen bags despite having only returned seven. It still took several hours to rack up and put in yard waste.

We found birthday presents that were perfect for my granddaughter. She loved the toys we found. Of course I did notice the toys were more expensive than they used to be. But that is the norm now.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT SHOP HERE. From poor customer service to the store always being disgusting (trash on the floor, messes everywhere, bathrooms being horrific) I would avoid shopping here at all cost. I mean seriously, people might enjoy the convenience of online shopping more than in store but this place make me never want to go to another Walmart again. Every single time I go here, the staff looks miserable, and they are very unkind. Nobody looks like they are even remotely close to enjoy working there with their frowns and bad attitudes. Plus, the store manager clearly doesn't care one ounce about the customers with shady return policies and never being available. I attempted to call this store 5 times with no success in reaching the manager. In case you think I'm being insincere, google only gives you the option to rate your experience when it tracks that you have visited a place. Shame on this Walmart. Do better. The management should be fired.

DO NOT do curbside pickup! I have been waiting for over 30 min in curbside pickup. Nobody will answer phone lines to get to a curbside mgr or a store mgr at any of the #s for the store. I did curbside because i needed one item but it was a larger box i wanted loaded for me. Not worth the time. Could have gone in and bought it quicker, but have to wait since already paid. Awful customer service. Will not shop at walmart anymore.

This Walmart is usually clean and the staff actually listens when you try to ask questions. Occasionally there's a bad experience but most of the time, I prefer to go to this location than the others that are in the area.

All I needed was change to send an appropriate amount of money with my daughter to school. I bought an item so I could get change when I checked out, but only the self checkout lanes were open. Yes I was able to ask for cash back, but not able to them get the bill breakdown I needed. So I ask the customer service center for help. The lady told me “all my registers are closed.” I ask if there was no way to just give me change. She looked at me like how could you not understand me. She tells me again that they are not open and all of the registers are closed. I walked out frustrated from the lack of understanding and help. Walked over the Walmart gas station and the Walmart worker there was happy to help me without having to purchase anything. I guess even though Walmart is open and you can walk in and buy stuff, the customer service center has separate hours and won’t help even when employees are standing around in that area. If it is a matter of policy you can’t help me, explain that and try to help me figure out a solution as opposed to simply saying “my registers are closed” with a look on your face that says me, a non-employee, should know better. Poor form Walmart, poor form.

One of many wal marts, they are pretty much all the same. This one is clean and check out times are usually pretty quick. They have a decent selection of items.

Very disappointed. Couldn't fine anything. Didn't have what I was wanting. And to make it worse there was no cashiers at all. I asked a worker she no cashiers but you can check yourself out. I almost walked out and left my cart sitting. But didnt , I want go back to that store. So sad they use to be so much better.

I did a pick up order and got everything this time. Very quick and easy. But of course I forgot a few items and still had to go in store. The store was nice and clean, quick easy self checkout.
