Well received while dock personnel were taking lunch. They stopped eating lunch to help us. We were delivering fresh vegetables (Amish grown in Carroll County, KY) and it was done with smiles and comedy. Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable and pleasant experience. Thank you, gentlemen. 5 stars

I've been on both sides, volunteering and receiving assistance. Thank you Dare To Care for being there when I needed you! I've never felt judged or profiled like I have at some donation centers. If you need help these people are awesome. Thank you for being there!

I just seen this statement and I'm saddened to hear this! I just donated through Instacart to this organization and wanted to see the good deeds it does for others, but now I'll choose a different organization to send my donation to when Instacart asks for my free contribution donor to provide a meal for a person in need. I dont believe in discrimination at all and turning anyone away for food like that and allowing others to fill carts is cruel. Here is the statement stated: I live close to where they distibute food..portland area...and today I witnessed something that disturbed me.A woman arrived a bit late today..about three people were still in line, there was still loads of food left, but instead of letting her get in line they turned her away....She did start taking photos of the food left and was met by a worker who started cursing her....They informed the lady that it was over, but after everyone had left, they loaded their cars down with food and even let another late comer do the same...I feel as long as there was food left they could have accomadated that woman...shame on those workers

Did some volunteer work there with my job, Caldwell Tanks. We were set up for success with our helper there as soon as we walked in. We were able to push out about 6 pallets of food boxes for people in need. I enjoyed helping the community that day. If you work for a company that wouldn't mind participating in a community service program & your employees still get paid for that day, you should contact them for more information.

Staff was so friendly and prompt. The man who did my paperwork and got my food helped to make it easier to carry because I was walking and taking the tarc. Then as I was leaving a lady who worked there gave me a ride to the tarc stop. Couldn't of asked for a better experience.

I have been volunteering at my churches food pantry for about 6 years, I call tell you from personal experience if it wasn't for Dare to care we couldn' t of helped near the number of people who otherwise would have been hungry. Great people!!! If you Dare to Care then please Donate.

Very friendly staff. Did some volunteer work there and I could tell that the staff were excited to have the group I went with there. Mt sorry was drenched after the work was done but it felt good knowing that we were helping others. If you are looking for a place to volunteer and make a difference in Louisville and the surrounding communities I would highly recommend volunteering here.

Super squared away place. Picked up food and miscellaneous items for 3 needy families. Feels good to contribute to the greater good. Will (more than likely) volunteer the next time they have an open Saturday

Everyone here is working to help and to get this food to be distributed to help people in need. There is volunteers that come every week to sort out items into certain categories so I can tell they want to help.
