Why would I try to explain I was going outside to get my son who is 15, has allergies and I didn't want anyone to think he had covid..cause my son had a cough8ng spell,, Frank. I even went up to the buffet and made his plate, Frank. Respect for others is something you obviously lack, Frank.. And I even stood in line so he didn't scare YOUR customers, Frank. Run them cameras back and focus on the people dropping tongs on the floor, Frank. Golden Corral back yaw. This time they got top flight security. Stop funding racist. WE YOUR BIGGEST CUSTOMERS, Frank. Bet me, nobody I know or NONE KIN TO ME come back in this place. I would've left if my boy wasn't hungry, Frank.

The line was extremely long to get in on a Sunday. But go figure; the place did just reopen and everybody’s been dying for them to reopen; so that was understandable. It was extremely busy trying to get food the entire time we were there. We went around 6 PM The place still looks exactly the same as it did pre-covid. So don’t expect anything different. The staff were all kind though. So that was a plus! The bathrooms have not been updated and were extremely disgusting. It looked like the toilets weren’t clean in a long time. So bring your own hand sanitizer to the bathroom. Food was good though; and the staff were kind. Just don’t expect any changes to the inside.

Am only giving this place a 3 stars because our waitress (older Hispanic lady) was phenomenal & hilarious. The food on the other hand was mid at best. Right now the price for a group of 3 people at the buffet is $46 after tax and that to me is kind of expensive for the quality of food that you get from here. The only dishes I liked from the buffet were mainly the sides. As for the meat/seafood entrees they could use more work and more seasoning. My fried chicken/fried battered fish was very dry and hard to swallow. Also the quality of the vegetables did not taste fresh at all unless you were to get something from the salad bar. As for dessert I didn't like how we were only limited to 2 ice cream flavors (vanilla & chocolate) and 3 choices of toppings which were only caramel, hot fudge, and peanuts. It's a let down to be honest and it's only because the food options are so limited and almost everything is self serve even our drinks that we just cant justify spending that much for the food & overall experience here. Maybe we came on a bad day who knows but other than that I don't see myself coming to a place like this again in the future cause it's just not worth it.

My family enjoys Golden Corral. It has good food, nice workers, and just a pleasant place to be. We went for a men's church meeting and enjoyed a good breakfast. The only thing I don't like is the background noise.

Very nice and homey! We used to go to Golden Corral when I was a child all the time, and nothing has changed! Same friendly servers and variety of dishes. Quality was never amazing but it is just right for the price. Mamadou out server was very kind and helpful making sure we got everything we need!

Very nice location with friendly staff. The salad bar was fresh and well maintained. All of the hot bars, bread and dessert were clean and restocked quickly. Many great options for carnivores, vegetarians or others with special dietary needs. The day I attended, there were many families with small children that allowed the children to serve themselves. I appreciated seeing the staff behind the bars assist the children and not allow them to serve themselves when it was obvious help was needed. Instead, the staff person directed the child to request assistance from a parent. (And the cild did.) This was ABOVE and BEYOND!!! Greatly appreciated to ensure sanitary conditions for other customers, prevent spills, and maintain a clean and presentable serving area. This establishment is great for all family types and all occasions. I would visit them anytime I am in the area.

Wheelchair accessible. They treated my crew with so much care. I brought three individuals with intellectual disabilities and they had a great time. I walked in first to see if they had a table. They did and saved our table. What a great greeter and staff. Just so helpful. The food was great. They kept it stocked really well. I had a great time. A bit small.

Food was hard, chicken was so dry you couldn't eat it. My kids that would eat anything wouldn't even eat the food. I will never be coming back to this location. I will drive an extra hour to go to a different location

Great food very fresh. Friendly guy help keep our drinks refilled. So happy they are open, u can get a lil of everything. Costs $50 for 3 adults. Not bad price. Check google maps for v when they are busy.

This is my second time eating at Golden Corral once they reopened and both times our server was Adrianne. She is WONDERFUL! Always nice and accommodating. She NEVER leaves an empty plate or empty cup on your table and is always ready to bring you more drinks. If you ever visit the Golden Corral on Taylorsville Road, I would HIGHLY recommend that you ask for Adrianne to be your server.

The food was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, it's not great or, in some cases, even good, just better that bad. I went at lunch and it was crowded but the buffet was very well stocked and mostly fresh. All that said it was very well worth the $11.99 price tag.

Great customer service, enjoyed my free dinner for my birthday. Also very clean and great food. One of the few golden corals left and I see why.

I have tried Golden Corral (2 separate locations), twice because my husband likes it. To me, the food is terrible. We waited for a table for over 30 minutes. The place was incredibly crowded. Staff did come around to help refill drinks which was very appreciated as I needed the water to wash the taste out of my mouth from the food. I can cook and I have much higher standards.

It would have been five stars if it hadn't been for the young lady cashier. . The young lady at the register is very rude and abrupt. If you can get past her attitude, you'll find the wait staff is wonderful. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Our waiter was exceptional. The steak knife slipped and it cut my pinky open, and my sweet waiter even went and retrieved me a bandage from their first aide box. He really went above and beyond!

We had $30.00 gift card plus we are both senior citizens. Normally this would have paid for our 2 buffets, my tea and his diet soda plus our usual $5.00 tip. We were given 2 glasses and told it was serve yourselves at either end of the restaurant for your drinks. The food was delicious and there was a very nice selection. From what we saw none of the waitresses or waiters were doing anything but walking around talking to each other because they couldn't refill your drinks or clear anything from your table. Every time we have eaten at Golden Corral it has been very full but this time there was a very slim occupancy.

Tomatoes for the salad bar were diced which was fine. I just prefer quartered tomatoes over diced. The chicken breast skin was tasty, but the meat itself was too dry for me to finish eating it, which isn't normal for Golden Corral (hence 3 ⭐) Love their mashed potatoes & their Mac & cheese. The corn on the con was tasty too. Our server was friendly & nicely attentive.

I decided to try the Golden Corral for breakfast because I really like breakfast and they were offering a buffet. I thought that they had a pretty good selection of various items. Everything that I had was fresh and for the most part was pretty good. The eggs had a good taste to them, the patty sausage had a good flavor, the bacon was crisp like I like it and in addition they also had smoked sausage as well as Fried Chicken available. Overall the price for what you got I thought was pretty fair and I enjoyed the buffet for breakfast.

Please do not go here it is way too overcrowded for food that is average at best. The bathroom’s are disgusting it looks like they don’t even clean the bathroom once a month there. And one time a server called a little girl out for just dropping a gummy bear because he thought she was going to steal it and her intention was clearly not to take food home but okay and then openly guilt ripped her about it. Overall the only good thing is the the price but it does not make up for the average at best food and the poor cleanliness of the bathroom and poor service. And it is a very loud place I would give this place a zero if I could.

We went there Saturday. And they only give you one cup. They were so busy they would not get your refill you had to go get it yourself. I asked the waiters what about another cup stop? She said we don't do that here only in Indiana. The management was too busy to talk to you. They didn't come around and check on you or nothing. It was so unorganized in there. Stay away from this place. The food didn't taste good at all. I won't go back because for service poor food one cup which I think was a joke.

We had a large group today and everyone was so nice and did a great job making sure we were taken care of

4 stars because the line was 10-15 people deep and there was no room to stand and wait for a table after you paid. Other than that, food was fresh and hot and very good. Didn't take long to get through any food lines and waitress was very attentive and nice. We had an issue with someone in our party so we had to abruptly leave after one plate. Manager didn't hesitate to give us our money back for one person and our waitress was generous enough to give us two drinks to go. Would definitely stop again if ever in the area.

We arrived about 445 pm and you could tell the dinner crowd was building. Even though it was loaded with people, paying for the dinner was very quick and very reasonable. Once we paid we found a table and just about the same the server was there taking the drink order. We got in line and enjoyed a good meal. Everything tasted fresh and there were an abundance of tender and cooks keeping things stocked.

The time of day it was extra busy for the party I was with... Friends kids, so didn't eat like could or try things I would have liked. But it was a great spot for 4 more and boys...

Been doing Golden Corral Thanksgiving for 3 years now. Service was outstanding everyone from the manager to the people who cooked and cleared off tables and seated you they all tried really hard. Loved the effort. The food it was solid got to pick what I wanted. The only small complaints was turkey was off. And the banana pudding looked weird and the desert bar looked rushed but I am fine with that. Everything else was solid enough just needed salt and pepper. Atmosphere it was crowded but I understand that today. Also again every worker earned every dime today I loved seeing that and they cared about everyone and their families. Honestly the 5 stars is about the staff they could have walked out and said "F it" and I would have understood it.

The food was actually really good until I found a hair in my pudding. When we first sat down no signs were posted on unavailable tables,when we went to get food came back my purse is thrown on the floor and chairs on table. I understand if a table is not available but put a sign up or at least have enough common decency to wait until the customer comes back and tell them. Either a regular manager or store manager decided to push me to the side no excuse me or anything. The service completely horrible is I could I would give it a 0 and same with food

I gave them 3 stars because of the manager and his response to customers. We purchased 3 meals at 8 pm. Buy 8:30 we and other customers were be pushed out of the restaurant by a managers response to staff and customers. We have come here many times at 8pm and staff has been great. So I truly do not like posting about the service. The staff was told by the manager at 8:30 not to make steaks anymore. Fresh food was not out. Cookies that are prepared on sheets in large tray holder were asked to be put out. And refused. We witnessed behavior by the white manager with an African customer where he presented aggressive body language. The door was still open at 8:40 and the manager told them to continue to sell meals. The manager in question is 5’11 to 6’. White. Black hair and black goatee and would be in the range of 250-270 lbs. Dark eyes. This manager made my family feel un comfortable by his actions with his staff. Very aggressive body language.

Food old not fresh, waited for waitress for 15 before even knew who was didn't speak English very well. People around us was nice. Self service on own drinks really??? We won't return to this particular Golden Corral.

Delicious, fresh and hot foods. Fried Chicken is fantastic, the meatloaf is awesome, the sirloin steak is tremendous. Great shrimp and mashed potatoes, breaded okra. Ice cream and coconut cream pie is mouth watering good. Perfect prices and great family atmosphere and dining experience.

My favorite part of my whole experience was our server. I'm terrible with names, maybe Jeffrey, an older dark skinned man with a great smile. He was polite and attentive, great at his job. I'm from out of state and it was also cool seeing how a different golden corral does things differently from ours, like menu items. Buffalo fried chicken and cheese sticks, oh my goodness 😍 great experience and great staff.

I’m not the biggest fan of Golden Corral but we only had one option for food on Thanksgiving day. It was jam packed at 5pm but the food was constantly coming out fresh and service was quick. Not sure about other days but Thanksgiving was good

The General Manager Layman was very nice. But the regular manager wasn't. He was rude to one of my grandchildren, my brother had to leave his credit card with him just so he could come and spend some time with us since he wasn't eating, and he kept coming to the room watching my brother like a stalker. It was outrageous! IF I ever go back and he's there, I'm walking back out the door.

The bacon was raw, eggs runny, gravy task like water and flour and on top of all that the food was cold. I have never been there and the food was this bad. I arrived at 8:51am and by 9:10am I was out the door with a stomach ache. I will never return and I am completely done with buffets after this experience. The manager was rude. Like sir get it together.

Don't get your food to go.....it costs an arm and 5 legs!! The food is mediocre at best too. 😳😳😳 They charge you by the pound for your food, and they weigh the containers with the food instead of taking off their weight. I spent $75 and got basically 2 meals. That's it. Ridiculous. Never again.
