We had a fantastic time with Mint Julep Tours. There were six family and friends for 5 days and 4 nights we did 3 distilleries per day and MJT handled everything including the lunch location. I worked with Jeannie at MJT’s and she was very helpful and accommodating and worked out the schedule based on our specific requests and made some great suggestions. It was timed perfectly and Colonal Ron and Chuck our host drivers were excellent! They treated us to their wealth of knowledge of all thing Louisville not just about bourbon. Both being bourbon drinkers they shared their own experiences and knowledge which was outstanding. If you are heading to Louisville for bourbon trail or any other trip you need transportation or hosted activity I highly recommend Mint Julep tours.

We used Mint Julep for our Louisville Bourbon tour last weekend and it was the best part of our trip! Holly and John were amazing guides and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Our tour consisted of 3 distilleries and lunch. They made sure to take us on a few extra stops along the way so we did not miss a thing! They gave us so much knowledge about the distilling process that the distillery tours do not include. They deserve higher than 5 stars and we will be using them in the future for a Lexington tour as well. If you want to tour bourbon country, this is the way to do it! Worth every penny

I booked a group tour for my friends and family to celebrate a birthday. Abby was great at helping us plan our trip and Derrick was an amazing guide and driver. We visited Bulleit for a special tasting, Buffalo Trace for a tour and tasting, and last but not least spent some time at Castle & Key for cocktails on their beautiful grounds. I highly recommend Mint Julep for planning the tour you want but just don't have time (or a sober driver) to do it all yourself.

From beginning to end this company was amazing. Tara not only put together a one off a kind day for my husband and I, she put up with my bugging her and she patiently answered my questions. On the day of the tour, because of the weather, we weren't able to do part of what was originally planned. The owner, Lisa, called me and arranged for an alternative adventure. It was just as great. Then Cindy, our driver, constantly went above and beyond for use. Over never felt more relaxed and taken care of. When we come back, we will definitely ask for her again. They were all just incredible.

Their tour is exceptional. Their guide was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and polite and the driver did a nice job getting us around safely. We visited four locations on the Bourbon Trail plus had lunch and were able to relax and enjoy the entire trip.

Professional service for an excellent price. Worth every dime that we spent! Our tour guide, Cindy, was very knowledgeable about the distilleries as well as the city overall. Her southern hospitality made the trip extra special.

We did our first Mint Julep trip with a group of 14 this past Friday. What a great experience! Our tour bus driver was, Dave, he was AMAZING! He was super friendly, kept us on time, and made sure we were always having a great time. We stopped at 4 Roses, Castle and Key, Woodford Reserve, and Stitzel–Weller. It was a great itinerary. At Castle and Key we did not have a tour, we just got a cocktail and walked around, if you can add this into your trip I highly recommend it! The grounds are so beautiful and setup for that for sure. Tons of shaded spots to sit and a lot of relaxing sitting areas. Polly was very easy to work with booking our tour and was very responsive the day of via email when we had a small issue with a boxed lunch. For the most part the boxed lunch option worked out really well. I unfortunately have a gluten allergy and there was some confusion as to whether or not it was actually on gluten free bread when I received it. Polly did her best to fix the situation and clear any confusion but I did not feel comfortable eating it in the end. But if you do not have any allergies I would definitely recommend the boxed lunch option because it made life easy, it was quick and easy to eat on the bus. We are looking forward to our next trip with Mint Julep!

This was the perfect way to tour the Bourbon Trail! The three distilleries we went to were unique from each other which provided a diverse tasting experience. Diane was a wonderful tour guide and Nelson was a great driver! I would highly recommend Mint Julep to anyone visiting Louisville. Thanks for a great day on the Bourbon Trail!

Solid experience. We went to Wilderness Trail, Whiskey Thief and Bulleit. At first I was bummed that the tours all only had one big distillery, but at the end of the tour I loved how different each experience was. Whiskey Thief was my favorite even though we just did a tasting. It included a nice shot down lunch at Copper and Oak in Danville. Cindy was a great guide. I only went with one other persom and I think if I book again I will do a custom group tour.

Great trip! Our bus driver, John, was so knowledgeable. He filled us with stories about history of Jack Daniel's distillery, other distilleries, Nashville, Tennessee State, etc. Then, when we arrived at Jack's Daniel's, we'vev got a great tour guideI, that showed us distillery and talked about history as well as the entire process of making whiskey. I highly recommend that trip!

What a great day! We did the brunch and bourbon tour. Started with a nice brunch and a cocktail. They needed to make sure we had a good base in our stomach before we started out to the tastings. Then out to the country to Bulleit and a very nice tour of the facility and a very unique tasting. Grabbed a cocktail, some lovely bourbon and off to the next stop. It was a smaller bourbon house and another tasting. What a great day! The guide Dan and Michael were very entertaining. I can't recommend them enough!

We had a fantastic experience with Mint Julep. From initial questions to curating our itinerary to executing the weekend of the event, everything was phenomenal. Cherise did a great job aligning our interests to create an awesome 2-day bourbon trail experience topped off with a fantastic progressive dinner. Kenny! We cannot overly express how great he was. From his knowledge of the all the areas we visited to squeezing in some important places for us to see while we were in town, he was amazing. My husband had an unforgettable 50th birthday and all of his friends and family who attended had a great time (13 of us total!) I would 100 percent recommend Mint Julep and I think we'll be using them again in the future!

The team at Mint Julep is exceptional! We used Mint Julep to help coordinate a trip along the bourbon trail for my husband’s 50th birthday and our closest friends. Laura did an amazing job coordinating our trip. She took the time to understand our preferences including our must haves and created an amazing itinerary. Holly our driver got us to our destinations on time and safely. Travis our tour guide was beloved by our entire group! His stories about the history of bourbon, the labels and the distilleries was entertaining and captivating. The entire time the entire team was very good at communicating with us, answered all of our questions, and made this a weekend to remember. Could not have asked for a better experience, team, or company to work with. We highly recommend and would use them again when we return! Thank you to the entire team.

Our tour was phenomenal! Our group included 2 in their early 20's and an over 50. Our guide was so knowledgeable and funny and he made the trip a true pleasure. Each of three distilleries had great parts. All in all a very enjoyable day!

Everything about our experience with Mint Julep was superb! Jeannie, the experience coordinator was so easy to work with, communicative and helped us create an itinerary with really awesome distillery tour experiences. We spent 2 days touring and visited 6 distilleries, each one was different in it's own way. John, our tour bus driver was extraordinary! He went above and beyond our expectations, going back to a distillery, while we ate lunch, to pick up a gift that wasn't ready when we were there. Then the next day he picked us up a few minutes to let us stop at a highly recommended donut shop nearby! He was knowledgeable, respectful and kept us on task the whole weekend. Our weekend was amazing thanks to Mint Julep!

Fantastic 2-day experience again! Mint Julep never disappoints and this was our second trip with them…will definitely not be the last. Maggie created an amazing 2-day itinerary and Tom was the best driver anyone could ask for. Very knowledgeable of all things Bourbon, and of all of the amazing Kentucky history. Amy and I now consider Tom a friend and will definitely be staying in touch!

If you are hesitating- take this as your sign to DO IT! Worth every penny we paid. Cynthia was great as our tour guide. Wilderness trail by far had the best grounds / scenery / tour. Three boys farm was super chill, unstructured and laid back, bulleit felt the most commercialized but it was still enjoyable. Highly recommend!

A group of 15 guys from Michigan had the pleasure to do a tour with guide - Travis and our driver - Terry on April 29th for a "Bachelor Party". While I am not necessarily a bourbon drinker (Tequila is my preference) this day long tour was fantastic, and I really enjoyed myself. Between Travis's great stories and jokes a our entire group had a great day. Travis & Terry absolutely went beyond expectations to make sure our group had a fun and an enjoyable day. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a great bourbon trail experience.

This was our second time on a Mint Julep tour. As expected, it was fantastic! Laura and Neil from Mint Julep planned a private tour for my Dad's birthday. They were both amazing. I expressed the desire to make as many stops as possible. Laura came up with the idea to order boxed lunches for our group so we eat on the go. Our guide/driver Neil was outstanding. He made sure we were on time for our scheduled tours and squeezed in 3 additional stops to visit other distilleries. He took photos for our group and shared so many wonderful stories and history about the area. My Dad and our friends enjoyed our day so very much!!! We can't wait to go back again!

The best tour currently on the bourbon trail. 6 amazing distilleries with only 20 of the most passionate bourbon lovers around the country. This one of a kind experience provided nothing short of the best pours, food, and tastings Bardstown has to offer. Every part of the experience was taken care of including transportation, so all we needed to do was show up in the morning and enjoy the ride. Cannot recommend enough for any true bourbon fan. Well worth it despite the higher price tag. Will definitely be doing next year given the opportunity.

Awesome company to work with when organizing my friends bachelor party for 10 in Louisville. Lauren organized and booked the distilleries we wanted and our driver Clark even managed to get us in a couple of extra places at no extra charge. I would certainly use again if I needed to.

My husband and I were on one of the Saturday Bourbon tours in November 2022. We had a fabulous day! The driver/tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. And, we enjoyed the group we were with. It was especially interesting/fun to visit several distilleries, including Wilderness Trail and Bulleit. And, it was really nice to have someone else driving. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide, Ron, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was well planned out and everything went according to plan. The group we were traveling with added to the delight of our tour. I can't wait to book another tour and see more distilleries!
