One of my favorite places to walk. A loop walk of 3/4 mile. Many ducks. Peaceful place. Beautiful sunsets. Easy street parking. Recommend. Get sweating with your fitness goals here. One step at a time.

This is a diamond in the rough. Although it's open and expansive, it feels a bit private still and has tons of parking, is almost a mile all the way around, has wide walking paths, gorgeous architecture, fresh air, other local attractions VERY close by, and the sound of rushing water is very calming. This is a super place to run safely and peacefully with beautiful old lamps for evening visits. I especially liked all the little banners on the lamps with info about the place and Louisville's waterworks system. What I didn't like, however was that it didn't come up as a park in Maps and I never would have found it had I not known the exact name. There's plenty of room to walk dogs, do some biking, or wander around on a date. The large areas and wide sidewalks around the reservoir make it wheelchair accessible but the only way up to the reservoir walking area is NOT wheelchair accessible. Still, there's plenty of sidewalk and green space to admire! I didn't see any restrooms but the pool is very close by and may have those inside.

A hidden gem of the city. Beautiful place. We went there yesterday and it was a scenic drive through the historical driveway. Good way to spend an hour or half there with kids. You can go for a good walk around there along with taking beautiful pictures. Would totally recommend. Its a beautiful place with such a historical importance.

Love this place. Great place to walk and also bring kids so they can roll down the steep hills. I wish I lived closer.

Very beautiful place ... my hubby and I stumbled up on it while looking for historic places ...was able to capture some really good shots including one of a cute couple and their baby (not sure who they are) but the pic turned out amazing lol. Most likely will go back again with our boys

Such a beautiful place to walk! The architecture and reflectiveness of the pools make for some lovely scenery. The flat paved walking paths are great for jogging or walking with friends and family of all ages. Plus, it’s in walking distance of a park, several good restaurants, and some neat little shops.

Came here at 6am to walk laps and practice japa. I was able to park on the well lit street for free. A couple of fitness types were leaving as I arrived. It was very peaceful. The gatehouse and iron fence surrounding the reservoir are impressive. There are geese but the sidewalks are clean. There are streetlights every 50 paces. Everything worked, including the clock and drinking fountain. I didn’t notice any graffiti. Only 4 stars because there wasn’t a bathroom or porta-potty.

First time seeing the inside of the Crescent Hill Reservoir and it was very neat and historic. My wife said it reminded her of seeing a lighthouse on Lake Michigan with the reservoir's setting.
