Their customer service is the worst I have experience in a long time. Their staff is awful with the exception of one clerk. I found same item with another jeweler at a better price and better service. When they (Zales Rep) are trying to sell you something they are great but when you come back for a service on the item (with the warranty we purchased) they are not. Really sad service

They dont even acknowledge when you enter the store. It takes no time when busy to let other customers know you'll be right with them. Instead you're invisible as if your time and money doesnt matter.

An associate called at 2:20pm to let me know my item was ready for pick up. I told the associate that I was on my way. Arrived at 2:36pm as I was walking up I seen all three associates taking a lunch break! This is the first time I’ve seen a store completely close and end up losing potential business plus more. Very unprofessional to call a customer and not even mention that all three associates will be taking a lunch break at the same time. A complete waste of time, for me as a customer. It would have been Courteous to mention that to a customer. That mentions they are on their way! Will definitely not be going back to purchase anything big or small from this particular location ever.

Ive had a loaner ring for going on 9 weeks! I continue to get the run around on my ring that was specially ordered! I have no realized they where trying to run out the return policy so the ring couldnt be returned! Never buy from them again.

This is Reginald’s fiancé posting, we would rate this company a zero however that isn’t an option given, we went in and placed two wedding rings on order, for three months they kept telling us that the ring i wanted was ordered , we wanted a princess cut however they had the round cut and had to order the princess cut, to make a long story short we never received the princess cut after giving us the run around we finally found out that supposedly the princess cut was no longer going to be made and so we weren’t getting the ring ! The Manager Susan @ st Matthews mall in Louisville pretty much blew us off, was totally incompetent, the district manger never called us to speak with us about the situation, we were told that we couldn’t have the district manager’s number, i finally called the 1 800 # was told that someone would contact me in 3 to 5 business days i never received a call, to this day no call ! The professionalism is horrible ! Who treats their customers this way !?!?! I read the reviews after this happened to us only to learn that this kind of behavior is the norm for this particular store ! Please if you are ever in the market to purchase wedding rings and the ring is not in the store ..... RUN ! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE ! The store manager Susan was more interested in telling us where her boyfriend was from and where he worked than she was in handling our situation concerning the ring ! We Did purchase the round stone ring with a small ( their solution to this catastrophe) discount and that’s only because we were pressed for time...... this happened at the St Matthews Zales not the one on outer loop.

If I could give less than one star I would the nasty sales lady wouldent even help me. I needed a box for a name brand engagement ring and was turned away to give my soon to be wife a name brand ring in a generic Zales box won't visit this location again Ever.

A horrible experience. Took 8 months to receive my bridal set. I called every 2-3 weeks and was told every time that they would call me back in a couple of days when they had more information but I never received any calls. After 5 months of me continually calling the store, the manager himself told me that the order was simply never followed up on and put back in! This should have never happened considering all the calls I made and is just pure neglect. He told me he would oversee the order and call me... I never received any calls from him either. This store and its manager are extremely lazy and because of this it has thrown off the timing of our wedding plans. When I contacted customer service I was offered a $130 gift card for my troubles on this several thousand dollar order that took 8 months to complete... as if i want to spend more money at this store to go through all of this again! They apparently either don't understand or care how special of a time it's supposed to be when you're asking someone to marry you. Now that my order has finally been fulfilled customer service ignores correspondence related to the order. I'm never doing business with Zales or any Signet owned stores again (Kay, Jared, etc.)

It's an awesome place and they will go above and beyond to get you what you want... I have literally walked in with 0 dollars and walked out with a flawless 2 karat diamond ring for my wife... I would recommend this store to anyone looking for awesome jewelry at an affordable price!!!

Visited 2/4/22 walked in and asked to specifically be showed the Valentine’s Day items they have on sale. One of the 3 folks that were gathered said they louisville stores did not receive any. That was a lie. But okay I then asked to see a specific bracelet they did have this. After viewing the bracelet I asked if they had any earrings similar I could look at in there store. The same woman that told me they did not get the items in the Louisville stores straight up said what do they look like because I don’t even know?!?! The dental man that was also there said you know the $20 earrings. She still wasn’t following and he said the cheapest Earrings we have. At that point I was insulted for one because they are $100. So did he just admit that they rip you off and for two because I was actually looking forward to getting them and he pretty much said they were worthless. Get it together Zales you get a lot of my business but probably never again.

FOR SALE two new platinum size 6 Rings. One is 2kt and the other is 1kt together are worth $4700. Seling both for $2500. The bigger one has never been worn before. Immaculate condition.

We bought our wedding rings and other jewelry from the Outer Loop store and the service couldn't have been better! My wife gets compliments on her rings all the time. We were at a restaurant last night and the server said she saw her rings from the other side of the room because of the sparkle. Upon having another ring cut down, they surprised us when they showed us the size, cut, quality and todays value of that ring that was bought in 1973 from another jewelry store. Brenda and Barry have been so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and respectful to us every time we've been in there. There were no pushy sales people, they let us take our time and didn't interfere until we asked them for help. Since the purchases, we can walk past the store and if they see us, Barry and Brenda will always wave and say hello even though it's been awhile now since our last purchase. I can't see going anywhere else to buy quality and reasonable jewelry and we do recommend them to anyone.

The only reason Zales is getting a 1 star is because a zero is not an option. From the female's perspective, gentlemen do yourselves a favor and avoid this place like plague. This circus is run by Barry, quite possibly the most ill equipped manager I have had the displeasure of dealing with. My fiance paid for my wedding set up front. It took 8 months, numerous calls and trips to the store, all initiated by my fiancee, to get my set. First, half of my set was simply never submitted. The laziness and complete disregard for the customers who are essentially responsible for their pay checks is unbelievable. After guarantees from several different salespeople and assurance that Barry was aware of the situation, several months went by. No ring. Barry gave him his "personal number and guarantee of a phone call" when the order came in. My ring sat at the store for who knows how long. My fiancee never got a call from Barry or any sales associate. The set that was paid for was sent back to the vendor by Barry. Oh, and don't bother with corporate either. You will get a $130 gift card that covers the protection plan of the ring to come back to the store and shop some more, deal with salespeople and a company who could care less about their customers, just so they can lose that order too. As if we would EVER step foot in that store again. By the way, Barry's excuse for not calling...he deals with a lot of people and he can't be expected to remember everything. So, you are a number and forgotten immediately after swiping your card. Your plans, girlfriend, or general expectations of how people should be treated do not matter. You would be better off going to the nearest pawn shop, Walmart, or Kmart and getting whatever they have in her size. Otherwise, don't even mention the word marriage for at least a year if you buy through them. Side note, you should probably avoid Kay's, Leroy's, and any of those other chains since they are all owned by the same company.

I visited Zales (Outer Loop) on 30 December 2023. This was the best experience I have ever had with any jewelry store. The customer service was excellent! My wife needed her rings cleaned and I needed a copy of a Transaction Receipt dated 19 December 2012. Matt (sales associate) was very supportive taking the necessay time to locate this receipt with the assistance of the store manager. My wife and I was very pleased with service provided. Zales will be my first go-to-store for any future jewelry needs. Thank-you!

Great place to shop. The gentleman at the store I always see (I believe it's Barry) is a delight to work with. I always pick up something for my wife around the holidays and I actually look forward to seeing him every year, he's very friendly and fun to chat with. Easily the nicest salesperson I've ever worked with, and it's from a place of really trying to help you out, get to know you/your significant other and what you're looking for, not just separate you from your money! I usually loathe salespeople so this was a pleasant surprise. I've been shopping at Zales for a long time and on a couple occasions I've had issues with the jewelry, missing gemstone on a bracelet once and sharp prongs on a couple pieces. If you pay for the warranty the service is pretty decent and usually cost free, but if you don't get the warranty, it can be costly getting something repaired and especially if you need a stone replaced. Still I think the prices are fair, they also have good sales different times of the year. Quality is generally good, we've been mostly happy with what we've purchased over the years.
