Wonderful experience. I would highly recommend 502 Urgent Care and Dr. Lovelace. My son and his wife needed a PCR test for travel to Japan. Results took less than 30 minutes and Dr. Lovelace was familiar with the extra form needed by the Japan Ministry of Health and filled it out while we were there. We were in town for a wedding and having a hard time finding someone who could perform the test and get results in a timely manner. 502 Urgent care was very helpful and stayed late on a Friday to accommodate our schedule. Thank you Dr. Lovelace.

Exceptional experience. Derby City DPC is what modern medicine should be: efficient, warm, and compassionate. Dr. Lovelace knows how to make a patient feel valued, spending the time answering my questions and concerns without rushing. The office environment is also warm and inviting. Whether you are young with little health concerns or a higher maintenance patient who is 50+ (me!) the convenience and personal attention you can get in a direct primary care practice like Dr. Lovelace's is very attractive and relatively affordable when you really look at the overall costs. No more booking appointments months in advance, and you can spend more time with your doctor, who can get a better understanding of your medical history and needs.

Dr. Lovelace is fantastic! He takes plenty of time to listen to your concerns and gives you an honest and thorough assessment of your medical concerns and needs. Dr. Lovelace was very efficient, friendly and professional. We were so relieved to be able to get a travel test the day after Thanksgiving to meet the 72 hour time limit back into Canada. He was very quick and careful. When booking, his wife handled our details very professionally as well. Wea re very grateful for their service on a holiday weekend!

I called to get details pertaining to my PCR test with Dr. Lovelace: testing CT numbers, ect; to make sure I was getting the best test possible to minimize spread potential to my sickly, immune-compromised grandfather. When I first asked the receptionist over the phone I was told to hold, at which point, Dr. Lovelace himself picked the phone back up. He questioned my reasoning for asking, told me he was too busy with patients, and called me a “dude”.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff, the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. Felt like I was speaking with a family friend about my ailments. I am extremely lucky to have found this practice. Do yourself a favor and check Dr. Lovelace out first. You won’t regret it!

I have struggled to find a GP since moving to Louisville eight months ago. Coming across DCDPC’s website, the prices seemed reasonable so I gave them a call. Rebecca (the receptionist) was very nice and helpful, and Dr. Lovelace quickly responded to my inquiry to see that it would be a good set up. I finally had my first appointment and am so glad I did! Dr. Lovelace has a great way of interacting with his patients and genuinely wants to help (something so many doctors seem to have forgotten these days, especially with the restraints from insurance companies). I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

I needed an FAA physical, and found Dr. Lovelace from an FAA website search. Really easy scheduling, and the appointment itself flowed smoothly. Dr. Lovelace walked through everything he was covering for the physical and explained why it was needed. He was very friendly and the appointment was very relaxed. I definitely recommend pilots needing their 2nd or 3rd class physicals to schedule here.

I will be 100% honest. I have not used the services and don't plan to as I have a great medical team now BUT I can tell you that I met Dr. Lovelace at a weight loss both at a wedding show today. This man quite literally listened to me with more compassion and understanding than many other medical professionals have my entire adult life and found resources that were applicable to my needs in the 5 to 10 minutes I spoke with him after the decade+ of going to doctors only to be talked over and dismissed before finely finding my current medical team. That alone tells me that this place cares about people and is worth looking into for those who may need them.

If you are tired of the traditional doctor experience this might just be the place for you. Very friendly, doctor is never in a rush, sees you at your appointment time vs sitting in the waiting forever. Straight talk, Easy going conversation with options to move forward. Couldn’t be happier.

Dr LoveLace has been a wonderful solution for my health care needs. I have never had a physician so vested and thorough with my care. He spends a significant amount of time to holistically address all my issues and concerns. He does research and is available anytime. He is knowledgable and has been able to help me navigate specialists and medications conveniently and in real time. It is such a challenge to get healthcare with insurance issues and a congested system and this alleviates a lot of trouble and time. Would 100% recommend.

My wife and I had to have a RT-PCR test within 3 days of travel. This by far was the best decision. Dr. Lovelace met at our vehicle and 30 minutes later we had our results. Excellent experience.

Great experience. My husband and I needed a Covid test for travel and we were able to make appointments in advance so we didn’t have to worry about not being able to be tested in the small window of time we had. This doctor is the real deal! We needed Covid tests to fly out of the US and were using another group that was extremely evasive with their nose swabs. Dr. Lovelace is not only a great guy but also very gentle and it’s easy to get Covid tests.

I used 502 Urgent Care for COVID testing to fly to Canada and had issues with the airline not accepting what Canada requires (a rapid test only). I was very impressed with how Dr. Lovelace handled the situation and was able to get a 2nd (PCR) test the same day. Would definitely recommend to others and will definitely use this clinic again if my future travels require a COVID test!

Easy to schedule a Covid test and so simple to actually get tested - I never had to leave my car. Results were back in minutes allowing me to rest easy knowing that traveling would not be delayed while waiting for test results.

I needed COVID-19 test for travel and I reviewed options via internet. I registered date and time with Dr. Lovelace office and arrived 30 minutes early. Dr. Lovelace walked out to my car and stated he would be able to perform test after completing paperwork. The test was very easy while sitting in vehicle and results were completed approximately 10 minutes with negative report. Thank you!

Dr. Lovelace did a great job getting us our pre-travel COVID-19 test results within no more than 15 minutes after swabs were taken. He even hand-delivered a hard copy of the results to us in our car in the rain while we waited. I highly recommend 502 Urgent Care for anyone needing a quick and accurate PCR test.

I had to travel at the same day and over two days i did not find a place to do my COVID test because it was the new year holidays. I came across this clinic in googlr, Dr. Michael is SUPER NICE really and the service is EXCELLENT you stay in your car and he print the result for you even within less than 30 minute and send it by email. I had my COVID test at 502 Urgent Care due to a travel requirement. Their process is very swift and professional. You don’t leave your car, just pull up, the doctor conducts the test through your window, and in 15-20 minutes you have your results. A great experience and will use them again if the need arises.

Needed a quick, reliable Covid test. I was able to make an appointment online and get the test and the results the same day. Does not file insurance for you, but I have Flexible Spending Account, so the $139 fee was covered. Dr. Lovelace was kind and thorough and I had my negative result in minutes.
