The facility itself is nice and very large with conveniently located restrooms and the people who work for the facility are very nice. The events themselves are hit or miss. We went to the boat and RV expo and the food vendors were charging airport prices for sketchy carnival food. I paid $6 bucks for a plain pork hot dog in a small bun that looked like something you left in your lunchbox for a couple of days and forgot about. Also they charge $5 to $10 for parking in a lot that is slightly larger than Rhode island so, seriously??

Here for a volleyball tournament. Amazing. Place is huge. Think there was 110 volleyball courts set up. A ton of people here and it really didn't feel like that. We came from out of state. Stayed at a local hotel. The 20 parking seems foolish when you can uber there and back for just a little more. Especially when you add in the extra in and out charges from the hotel parking. Food options during the event were great! As usual everything was stupid expensive but if you expected otherwise, shame on you. We were able to bring in our own beverages, water etc so not locked into the 4-6 dollar sodas. Very clean facilities, plenty of bathrooms. Would be nice if they had separate pass thru lines for Ubers and taxis. But not a big deal. Overall, great place and definitely would attend another event here. O and best thing, padded chairs to sit and watch. Not those butt cheek killing bleachers.

Attended the MATS show. Smooth experience, fast entrance at the gate. Parking was $10 per day.

This was our first year attending the Bluegrass Pug Festival!! (Formerly known as the Milwaukee Pug Festival) An absolute blast!!! So many amazing people, vendors, charity organizations, and most importantly...PUGS!! I feel that this was a very nice location and was impressed by the property. Although, please take down the signs that say coke if you're going to serve Pepsi. Very disappointing. Even at the food court it says "coke". Food was okay. Didn't try the ice cream though. Would absolutely attend another event here in the future!!

Excellent experience and event. Battle in the Boro Basketball Showcase Tournament Con: food and drinks too high for a youth sporting event

I went to the annual Kentucky state fair. They had a variety of midway rides and food vendors. They also had a live music and a free concert. They had a live stock exhibition and art displays and a flea market style set up as well. I enjoyed my time there while I was visiting.

It was easy to get into the place, but where to really exit out of there is not clearly marked and there is a usually a huge crowd leaving at that same time so it makes it difficult to exit when you are not sure how to get back to the place you really needed to exit because of the multiple entrances. Very clean πŸ‘Œ, bathrooms were cleaned and stocked! Other than trying to get out of there...everything else was great πŸ‘. HUGE COMPLEX!

Huge venue - there were three events going on at the same time and all groups were separated in an organized fashion. Parking attendants at entrance were sweet and took the time to provide detailed driving and parking directions. This venue can house thousands of people without feeling overcrowded. It’s that big! Indoor workers were nice and helpful. It’s clear that they have plenty of experience hosting large events. It was hot outside, but their air conditioner worked so well that we were not affected by the outdoor heat wave.

Reallllly enjoyed the Kentucky State Fair this year. The exhibits were great. I missed the animals but I got a few pictures of the cows and donkeys. I think "Candy Land" was my favorite

Louder than life is freaking awesome! All of the staff was so kind and helpful they did everything they could to make sure we had a fantastic time! Chris one of the shuttle drivers made the end of the night the best! Closed down the show all 4 nights. This Michigan granny is planning her return trip for 2023's Louder than Life event!!

Great food, to be honest, the food there is better then my home town's fair food. But some of the rides are amazing better then my home town fair. Then other rides were the same, and then there were some okay, just not like how I was used to

I really enjoyed the annual state fair at Kentucky Exposition Center. They had music concerts, games, various kind of food stalls, horse shows and many more. They also had animal shows and those were fantastic. It was crowded and everyone was having so much fun there. The facility is very large and spacious.

First off out the gate I could tell you they better never have Limp Biscuit back because Fred Durst, was very rude to the crowd, he told the techs to shut down the camera cuz he didn't want to be on TV, need plenty of water when u r there, they need more tables. . Over all best organized biggest festival. went here for the Louder than Life festival

Huge facility but had no food available for the event we were attending which was ridiculous. They charge $12 for parking for a lot that is shared with the amusement park - flat out price gouging. Won't be back.

Went to Kentucky Kingdom, had a blast I really enjoyed myself. It's not a big amusement park. But it's big enough to give u a full fun filled day, but have the hometown fair feel which I really enjoyed. Had a blast besides losing my eye glasses in the wave pull, it was an excellent day. Already bought season passes, so I plan on visiting a lot more.

Took my 2 y/o grandson to Jurrassic Quest. Parking was a mess, due to earlier bad weather. The area upon entering was very dark with animal growling noises, so he was immediately scared, but after talking to him, and seeing other children react he became more comfortable. The event was very well planned out, and had many things for him to do. The crowd was not overwhelming due to intermitten ticket sales. However, I didn't think the cost was worth the adventure. Additionally, I paid $30 for a Dino bubble blower, which stopped working properly before we made it home. Not impressed. The Expo Center is a nice, clean place in the Louisville Community, and we are lucky to have it.
