I had my first visit at Glow Worm today and was thrilled! I knew this place would be safe and fun but it's so much more. It's cute, safe, sanitary, has a mask policy, and is so clean and the staff... the staff are so helpful and friendly! Even when my friends kid had an accident, the staff quickly cleaned up the mess and didn't have the mom feel guilty about it which is so nice to alleviate an anxious mom. My mocha latte was delicious and adorable, and my girl drank her whole kid size banana strawberry smoothie! She even enjoyed some m&m muffins from their baker! All it took was one visit, and next visit I will become a member :)

Having somewhere kids can play and adults can work, or even just have cup of coffee in peace, was much needed in our area and Katie took the concept and absolutely knocked it out of the park. The space is beautiful, the coffee and baked goods are always delicious, and there is so much room for kids to run around and play. It’s also immaculately clean and has a mask policy, making it one of the few spaces I feel safe taking my kids during the pandemic. So glad to have Glow Worm in the community!

This is a brilliant place for parents to let their kids exert their energy while refueling our own. We absolutely love Glow Worm and have made friends every time we’ve visited. We only needed to attend once before becoming members. The staff seems to genuinely love their job, very welcoming & sweet personalities. I accidentally left my coat inside after our first time visiting & when I went inside to retrieve it, I personally witnessed these amazing folks sanitizing everything & getting the room ready for the next play session. So much peace of mind for myself, personally. They care for their customers & I can’t say enough positive things about this establishment: Love the aesthetic, the shopping area in the bakery/lobby, the coffee, the snacks & of course, play area. There’s even a sweet corner station for breastfeeding mama’s to nurse/pump. I highly recommend to all my friends with children & hope to rent out for a private play date soon!

We have been here multiple times since this has opened. The staff is always nice, the desserts are yummy (pumpkin crumb cake specifically), and the drinks are good. I love being able to be in a coffee shop while my kids can play. However, there is just not a lot for kids to do. We were one of the first ones in today and the shelves are bare, the play restaurant is empty, and the train table has very little to go on it. I have a three year old and I really thing she has outgrown this (it’s meant for five and under). There is soooo much potential here. There could be more sensory things, doll houses, a better play kitchen, more food, and things to build. My friends have all lost interest in going because it’s just not appealing anymore. I know toys get lost and things probably get taken but it has been like this for awhile. And I’m not here to hate on a local business. I want it to thrive and I want to support local but I think it needs a revamp in the toy department.

We had absolute blast! I was finally able to meet a friend here. We both have toddlers around 2. The atmosphere was great as there was only one other family. It was nice to be in safe space free from chasing my toddler around. So that made for a great low-key introduction to the place. The coffee was very good and comfy vibes were immaculate. I really like the rental concept as it doesn’t feel like it will be overrun. I felt welcomed when we entered and the baked goods were delicious! Definitely asking for a membership for Christmas! ;) We are so excited for the Beechmont location!

We've gone here a couple of times now. It is a great concept and the little ones absolutely love it. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and courteous. The tea and coffee available is a nice touch as well. Plenty of parking available behind the building. A great place all year round to visit but especially on a rainy or cold day where you're stuck inside with a child under 6 who needs to burn some energy.

Super fun place! This was a great stop for the kids on our way to a conference in Louisville. The staff is friendly, the drinks are delicious and the main play area is very engaging. My older kids enjoyed their time in the butterfly room as well. They book sessions in advance and clean between each session. Thankfully there was room in the earlier session for us because we arrived before our original time.

Such a cool place! Met up with some friends and got to relax and socialize while our toddlers played together. My coffee was delicious and they have the sweetest and cutest little selection of baby/kid clothes!

Absolutely loved it! Had heard about it and finally went to go check it out and it did not disappoint! My 2 year old enjoyed her self and got to play with other littles and socialize & I got to sit back relax and watch, I loved the fact that they have bakery style snacks and coffee/ drinks after our play time was over me and my toddler enjoyed a confetti muffin and a warm sugar cookie, will for sure be back and I definitely see the value in getting a membership and making this a part of our weekly outings! In a world where taking your child to the park can be somewhat dangerous a place like this gives you piece of mind!

We love GlowWorm! What a fantastic place for parents and kiddos to play, relax, have a snack and a coffee and meet other families. Katie and crew have done an incredible job transforming this space into a family friendly and SAFE environment. A treasure filling a much needed void. Thank you, Glow Worm!

I absolutely loved this place! It has a comfortable at home feeling, but there’s lots of different activities and things to do. There’s a whole room with chalkboard walls that the kids can draw on. There’s a whole play room full of toys, a play kitchen set up, play sets, and dining area for the parents to set up and watch the kids play. There’s adorable clothes and delicious snacks and coffee to be had as well. When our playtime was up, my kids literally cried because they didn’t wanna leave. I also really appreciate the fact that there is a mask requirement there, as my son has asthma and it’s really hard to find places I feel he can safely play at in this day and age. We will definitely be returning as soon as we possibly can. #supportsmallbusiness

We have loved this place for a while but it’s been a godsend while I’ve been on maternity leave this winter! Cozy, safe, inviting space to get my three-year-old out of the house to play while I drink coffee and hold the newborn. Everyone is always so friendly and the food and drinks are wonderful! Our out-of-town friends are jealous that we have such a haven in our city for parents and young kids!

Today was our first time going to Glow Worm. Many of our friends had raved about it, and they were absolutely right! They have coffee (coffee that’s actually good!) and baked goods among lots of other things. The play area and set up is fantastic. Parents can sit back and watch their littles play while recharging themselves. My son had a blast. We will definitely be back!

Great place to meet up with friends and keep the kiddos entertained. Cafe is nice with coffee, pastries and sandwiches to enjoy while the kids are in the indoor play area. Very clean and well maintained, staff is super nice 😁

Fun, clean, safe. Fantastic idea and execution. This morning I drank coffee in peace while my 1.5 year old played for over an hour and didn’t need any entertainment from me or a screen. Will be back x 100.

This has become our favorite happy place. My daughter enjoys the opportunity to explore, play, meet new pals, aaaand of course eat yummy treats. I usually park myself on the cozy couch and feed her baby sister while she spends her time having fun. The coffee is delicious. Everything Dara bakes is delectable. The place is ridiculously adorable inside. It’s really just best summed up as a “shiny happy place!” We look forward to spending more and more time there as summer break opens up more availability in our schedule.

My 21 month old loves this place - really fun - and they offer great breakfast and lunch items. Their paninis are so good! Highly recommend this spot when looking for something to do with young ones. It’s also so wonderful that they have the porch for nicer days.

Glow Worm Play Cafe is amazing. As a local mom, I’m so happy and lucky to have this place. Katie is a wonderful owner and follows all safety protocols during this pandemic! (thanks for keeping everyone safe!) The food/snacks provided is SO good. My child loves coming here. The atmosphere is positive and inviting. The shopping options are adorable. I love that you can schedule to play or just drop in for a place to relax in the front. You won’t find another place like this in town (or anywhere really) so make a reservation and see what all the hype is about because it is 100% worth it.
