Leaking roofs, outlets don’t work half the time, locks break on entrance way to apartment. Smells like cigarettes and marijuana in the hallway constantly and I have a child. They will increase your rent over 20 percent and blame corporate. To no surprise there’s a new manager for the place every time you go to their office. I have enjoyed living here because maintenance has been solid and the price was decent however the price increases are completely unjustifiable.

Worst place I've ever lived. Horribly managed. Bait and switch techniques with leasing contracts. Management is dishonest and will not respond to messages unless you're persistent. Ridiculous policies such as no car/motorcycle covers and 2 month moving notice. Way overpriced when I moved in and since then they've price gouged their tenants so people can't afford to move out. Even if you pay month to month for years they'll change your contract without honoring your month to month payments. All the children that live here play in the road because Deer Ridge won't build sidewalks or a playground/park; their solution is more speedbumps. Don't live here. You can do better. UPDATE: I moved out in June of 2023 after Deer Ridge updated their contract to say I could no longer go month to month (an option I paid for in the past that they removed from my previous leasing contract without my consent). After waiting on my security deposit refund for over a month I contacted Deer Ridge in August to see when I should expect my refund. I was told that this takes 30-45 days, and that I should reach out again if I hadn't received the refund in that time. After 50 days I reached out again multiple times, and haven't received any response. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Metro Communities (owner of Deer Ridge Apartment Complex) to retrieve the money they owe me, and Deer Ridge management has not responded to the complaint that BBB sent them to resolve the issue. I will be filing a claim in small claims court against this company to get my refundable security deposit back. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

While I’m happy with where I live, I’d have to say management and maintenance at Deer Ridge Apartments turn over rate is very high. Unjustifiable extreme rent increases without an explanation of why has been a hard pill to swallow. When I moved here rent started at $750 and now 7 years later rent is over $1000 without any improvements or upgrades to my apartment.

Apartments are nice, and reasonably priced. The employees are responsive. Our only gripes are with some repairs. We've been here since fall of 2019, and our toilet in the main bedroom has not been functional. We placed a work order and were told that the whole toilet would need replaced and to avoid using it. The mailboxes are in poor condition, the lock on ours has been broken for several months and several other boxes are in need of repair too. The shared laundry room has some issues, mainly one of the dryers in our building works only half the time. It should really be upgraded. The door buzzers don't work either. We like living here, just some small things can be improved.

The ladies were great! The apartments were modern and beautiful. Clean grounds and overall a great experience. I’m still deciding if I am going to apply or not.

Tour was great! Wish we could live there but they don’t allow dogs.

Apartments are very nice,however they only accept cats!☹️
