First time here. Was good. Staff were very friendly. Had corned beef hash, eggs, waffles, and milkshakes. All were tasty!

The malted waffles are amazing! I got one with pecans and chocolate chips. The loaded hashbrowns were delicious too.

Anything fried or soup isn't available until 11am. Killed my mood big time when the waitress kept giggling about how its disappointing but trying to convince us to get sweet items. 2.40 a cup of coffee. 2.75 for plain tea, 9.00 for a single plain waffle.Prices here are pretty high compared to other places of similar types.

Perfect spot for a family outing. Great service and Food is Always Delicious. Prices are reasonable and Family Oriented Atmosphere. They get busy but still get your food out rather quickly.

A great stop for a good breakfast. Service was top notch in a busy atmosphere. The food was clean and served well. The waffle was soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. And the breakfast burrito was baked well with the eggs fluffy and full. All around a well priced meal.

I had a delicious grilled cod!!! And one of my friends enjoyed an espectacular waffle with strawberries and cream. I will come back.

Call in for a pick up. Skinny brunette handling phones hung up on me before taking my name. I show up 20 minutes after I “placed” an order. Come to find out. She threw away my order paper and then tells me I have to wait for the food to be cooked. All staff was dragging their feet and laughing about inappropriate stuff. Complete trash 🗑. We tried their food service 3 times.3 strikes you’re out. Atmosphere feels geared towards elderly.

The name is waffle shop, I expected there to be waffles on the kids menu and there wasn't'. For $11 you get a small waffle about 6-7". More for toppings.The ingredients are all low quality. Bad coffee and orange juice taste like those hotel OJ machines. My hash browns were both burnt and raw at the same time. This place is a bad dinner not a waffle shop. Service was slow but friendly. It not great but I have had worse.

If you are looking for a classic, tasty breakfast with options for all, look no further! Fast and friendly service with a great breakfast. Hands down, some of the best hashbrowns in town! They also have some great options on their lunch menu! If you are in the Rockford/Loves Park area, give them a go!

Breakfast is boring. All you can hope for is hot food that fills you and is served with a smile. ✔️✔️✔️😊 Chorizo breakfast burrito and a ham and mushroom omelet with hash browns. The waitress sounded like Marty Gilbert from independence day. She was funny! When was the last time your server made you laugh? I wish I remembered her name so I didn't have to refer to her as Marty. I should have left her a bigger tip! Oh well, I guess that just gives me more reason to go back. Reccomend!

When asked for no onion in the burrito, got onion. When asked for Avocado and hashbrown, did not get it, but paid extra for it. When asked to not scramble eggs, they scrambled them Did not get sourdough toast that was paid for Did not get Biscuits and Gravy that was also paid for Overall not happy with the experience. Yes it was an UberEats order, however, they are not the restaurant or responsible for ensuring the driver gets all the food the way it was requested. Not to mention it was placed at 9:22 AM and not in my hands until 11:08 AM You guys should NOT use UberEats, unsure if I will visit the facility itself due to the things I do hold the restaurant responsible to.

Ordered breakfast with my wife, we ended up. She ordered a salad, so she had lunch. Food and the salad came and was lettuce and 3 grapes tomatoes. That was it then when we went to check out? The check was not given to us. She said, have a great day and just heads up. It is very noisy. It is not meant for somebody who wants a romantic or cozy time for dining.

Simple and easy. Great little place to chat away while enjoying coffee and a yummy breakfast. Very nice server's who are consistent in providing a happy atmosphere.

Food is poor to fair but don't call a order in because it won't be all there. The past two times I called in the person taking the order repeated the order back to me and then when I go and pick up the order and take it home the food is not all there. I call them and they say it was not ordered even though they repeated it back to me. Should of stuck with Sunrise, better food and better accuracy. Will not be back! If I could give zero stars I would.

My mother took me to this restaurant, because she LOVES their waffles (that's the only thing she orders 😀). I love it because it's a small family restaurant and the staff are very nice.

I lived in Rockford for years and never went here, but I've been twice in the past few days. It's easy to overlook and the atmosphere is nothing special. But their waffles are genuinely tasty. Wait staff hustles. Everything you could want at a local Midwestern breakfast place.

6 bucks for 2 coffees the size of tea cups? Service was barely passable and the only food that wasn't gross was the actual waffles and hashbrowns. Do yourself a favor, order the waffles to go and save yourself the bad service and burnt tasting bacon

Waitress was super nice, waffle was great, sausage tasted (and looked) like those "brown and serve" gross sausages from the frozen isle. Spent an extra $4 for 1 bite

Best breakfast shop in Rockford hands down. We came on a family trip from Georgia to Rockford and had to stop for some food, we cane to the waffle shop because my dad came there last tike he was here and it was amazing. Jennifer was our waitress and she was excellent we even asked her about hotels and she gave us great recommendations about not only inns but entertainment as well. We came back the ne t day just because the food and service were sooooo goodddd. I had the all meat skillet with avocado and rasin toast and it was the best food ive tasted since we got here, absolutely delicious and the cinnamon french toast my god it was like heaven was in your mouth absolutely amazing food and people. Looks like we had a piece of southern hospitality up north. 100 outh of 10 woukd try again.

Solid breakfast experience. They were busy on a Sunday morning, but we did not have to wait for a table. Service was good, very professional. No complaints on the food, standard breakfast fare.

The two best things to get are their skillets and their swedish pancakes. In my opinion, their swedish pancakes are better than Stockholm Inn by a long shot 🤷🏻‍♀️. They also recently renovated and it looks really nice. Always friendly staff!

Randomly chose to eat here one day and it was a very good decision! The food was excellent, including the chicken and waffles that I had ordered, and the staff was exceedingly kind and friendly. A perfect breakfast spot!

Food was good. Service was great. Would have preferred more social distancing with the seating, but staff were wearing masks.

Ate there this morning for breakfast. Nice and clean inside. However, the crispy hash browns were freezer cold on the inside and barely tan not brown on the outside. Many patrons were not following the mask protocol. However, all employees were wearing masks. Thank you. Prices have gone up a bit but they have at most places so thats okay. Has always been good in the past and I am sure we will be back. Thanks for being such a clean establishment!
