Had no problem getting a table for three on a Tuesday night. Menu is varied, service and atmosphere were great. Tuesday night was pasta night and my partner enjoyed the beef ragu. I had the cauliflower steak, and felt the price was a little steep for the size of the meal. Can highly recommend the apple crumble cider, it's a must try.

First time here and was great service the waiter and waitress were awesome but the choices of food wasn't that great. But can say we stayed to test it out. My Husband had the eye fillet main with extra side dish, and I had the Spinach ravioli salad for my main. My Husband said his steak was tough, my salad was soaked with too much sauce couldn't taste the spinach etc the sauce was over powering. Oysters were sooooooo Devine❤. Expensive yes but in the Hospitality industry nowadays I do appreciate the effort they put into their business. We would come back again only because your drinks and Hospitality was Great 👍 👌 🙂

A great dining experience. The staff were attentive and very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I had the wagu beef cheeseburger and chips on a brioche bun. Really tasty. The thick cut chips were perfect. Also had the chicken pate. Really nice. It was a really nice atmosphere too. After another visit we had the striploin steak, eye fillet steak, hummus and chips

Amazing service, the staff were always checking up on us and super friendly. The food was so yum. Was super hungry so didn't manage to take any pics. The cocktails looked amazing will definitely be back to have some of them. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone

Great job on the pub’s makeover and was a pleasant environment. We enjoyed our dishes. My wagyu burger was not pink (as stated on menu) and was a bit on the dry side, chips were crunchy and creamy.

Had a nice buzz on Tuesday and Saturday when we dined there. Great staff. Very friendly, accomadating and attentive. Food was lovely. Unfortunately, the food was served on cold plates, on both occasions, but that could be fixed?? Hence the 4 star on food. Yummy enough for sure. Loved the old photos of Petone in the decor. Felt relaxed there and a place we will return to.

Best service and atmosphere, and is consistent. Yum food and the most beautiful Oysters I have had! We go often and everytime it’s on point! Food is always on time. Staff are very friendly, in particular Nate and Casper you both are huge assets. Thank you. Cocktails are better than any in the city! 🫶🤌

Went there on a Friday night for drinks, good service, clean tidy and a buzzing atmosphere. No Aperol available but the manager said he was working on it. Saturday night had dinner there, less busy than the Friday night, and I must say the half chicken was cooked to perfection, nice and moist inside and crispy on the outside.

Great social joint. Good service, good atmosphere but not so good food. Really enjoyed a variety of drinks all round, and the food had great flavor, but the 3 steaks, all ordered as medium and all appeared to be different and anything but medium. Kudos to the waiter though for delivering great service!

My partner and I have been twice this week for goodbye drinks to workmates. Service is quick and friendly, the drink and food is great and piping hot! And the bathrooms are clean and nice. The large heater there kept the whole place warm too on such a cold day.

Been here twice, both times for a birthday. I LOVE their food so much!! The place and atmosphere is so perfect and very chill. Their selection of food and drinks is just perfection! Staff are also very nice and friendly! Will be back again soon~

$2 Oyster Thursday’s… now $3. You can easily spend a lot of money here. Extensive gin & cocktail menu and good food. It’s a nice bar and always busy.

I can not recommend this place highly enough. You could mistake that you were in a 5 star restaurant in the centre of Melbourne. The Lamb three ways and the beef checks were the best we have ever had. No I am not a food critic but I like great food and i would go out of my way to come back here. Trust me you will not be disappointed

We had a table of 7. Two of us had the fish and chips, the two pieces on each of our plates were a little bigger than fish fingers, the fish was nice but very small. The coleslaw was tasteless. The burgers where smaller than expected but tasty and the pork chop was dry and overcooked. It may have been dry due to not wanting to pay for the extras which boosts the cost quite high. The desserts were nice, we had donuts and cheesecake. The staff were really friendly

Really funky place!! Love the decor and also plenty of space inside. A really cool chilled atmosphere. Haven’t eaten here much but whenever I have it has always been very tasty. Staff always extremely friendly and helpful. Good selection of beers on tap, regular and craft beers. They pour a very nice pint of Stella!! One of my favourite drinking spots in Petone

Always love coming here, really solid go to. Only marks off on food for soggy bar fries last time I visited (Sorry, I'm a potato fanatic!) - will update if that changes next visit 🤗 meals in the restaurant area are always good.

We had a the calamari, tiger prawns, fish sliders, and clam linguine. The calamari was cooked perfectly a d the tiger prawns has an amazing flavour (I was dunking chips into the sauce because it was so good). The only downside was there was a little bit of sand (or something gritty like that) throughout the linguine sauce. The pasta itself was cooked well and had a nice bite to it. We finished with the peanut butter mousse and thought it was amazing! Great balance of textures, sweetness and acidity. Wait staff were nice and friendly, and the kitchen was very quick to put out our orders.

Got to have one of the steak meals and omg it was delicious the best cooked steak I've ever had!!!! Like the chef actually knows what a medium rare steak is. Thank you so much team. Your waiting staff were great very attentive always made sure our drinks never went empty. I loved watching the kitchen staff and them plating the dishes. I feel I had the best seat in the restaurant right in front of the kitchen.The interaction they had with each other was just amazing the 3 guys were entertaining the morale here is fabulous I loved the environment and I will most definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again team keep up the amazing work!

Go fit the beef cheeks. It's the most delicious I ever had. The fried gingers as garnish was a bit bitter n burnt but the beef cheeks were amazing. The staff provided good service too

Wow best steak I have had for ages. Cooked and seasoned to perfection! And a whole pot of garlic butter!! I recommend this place.
