We go to their music bingo on Friday Nights beginning at 9pm and usually ending roughly 11pm. The bartenders are amazing, very sweet really good at checking in with customers. We are sober and they don't have you feeling a particular way only ordering sodas, such a HUGE plus. We don't feel awkward or pressured into drinking any type of alcohol. Music bingo is freaking awesome. Digital, easy to use and the host is a really nice, pleasant, fun guy. We love going, the environment, the experience etc.

The food took over an hour to come out. Two of the three meals at my table came out ice cold. There was hair in my tater tots. My fish sandwich came out with a tub of horseradish instead of tartar sauce. I fortunately noticed before putting it on the sandwich. It was impossible to get the server’s attention to correct it. I eventually had to hunt her down. The restaurant was not even very busy. The server brought a pitcher of water and a stack of disposable plastic cups. My wife and daughter had drank water from two of the cups. As we were leaving we noticed the cups that we didn’t use had bleach visibly pooled inside them. The bleach smell was strong and unmistakable. I don’t know if my family drank bleach earlier or what. It was disgusting and inexcusable. We live in the neighborhood and used to come regularly. My family is never coming back.

Can't wait to go back again! My only recommendation would be to call in advance to find out if they have a private party scheduled during your intended visit. We greatly enjoyed the prime rib dinner.

I can definitely say we ate here for the last time tonight. The food is just pub food and has generally been mediocre and the service has always been not so great but we have continued to go because my daughter really likes tater tots and they have them. Tonight was the final straw because the service was absolutely horrible, I was served a burger, completely cold, and there was bleach in our cups. We ordered tater tots before our meal and I asked for ranch with them. We were brought the tater tots very quickly, but they never brought us the ranch at all. Our main meal food took over an hour and a half from ordering to getting served with the server never checking on us after taking the order. My husband was served a fish sandwich that had accidentally had horseradish in place of tartar sauce, and was served cold and I was served a completely cold cheeseburger. The server never came back to ask how the food was so she never even heard that it was inedible. She also never asked me why I didn’t eat a bite of it when she came to bring us our check. Other highlights included us being served drinking cups that were still wet from being washed but had not been properly rinsed and REEKED of bleach. Needless to say, we did not drink out of them, and that point, we decided we could never eat here again so we paid and left. I’m generally a really good tipper, but couldn’t muster up the energy to leave a good tip on this set of facts. I left an OK one and that was it for me. We won’t be going back.

I would definitely describe John Henry's as a good pub. The food selections are tremendous as well as the drink selections. The staff are amazing. If it it one thing that they would improve, it would be the nachos. But all in all great pub and great for those who would want to relax and enjoy it as a whole. It gets my 5 stars. Apart from the prices, it works for me.

My favorite bar in the area! Great food and drinks, great people and great prices — plus, easily walkable from Ardmore Station and Suburban Square without all the crowds. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Group of 4 of us. Good appetizers and entrees. Each had a cocktail, affordable nice night out. Great service and staff.

The meal is excellent. I've owned a lot of items. The specials at the top of the menu are what my husband and I particularly enjoy. I adore their vodka Collins, and the drinks are delicious. On Tuesday. I've only tried quizzo once, but they have it. Although they are all efficient, the personnel is generally pleasant. Try the one pan dinners; the majority of those I've tried have been satisfying combinations. Go!

This pub is great! They're always very accommodating when we come in with a huge group, very kind, and the food and drinks are great, pub fare!

Can't say whether the food is good or not because I didn't get to eat it. Kitchen closes at an arbitrary time that isn't the same day to day and that is not indicated on their website. I was really disappointed because the food sounds really good but I'm not going back if I can't guarantee the kitchen will be open.
