Today a woman answered the phone EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!!! Saturday 3:00pm. I’ve ordered from them plenty and never encountered such ignorance. I won’t be picking up food.

staff there seems racist. when i went to ask why my order was stapled, one of the guys making the food kept giving me a dirty look and saying stuff in chinese aggressively. didn't sit right with me. the one young kid at the cashier is a sweetheart. the woman who is there sometimes however, sometimes is rude. food is good overall however, just keep an eye out, especially if you're black

Just good not that great.. The food isn't entire issue. No delivery. Seating is limited but was "good enough" for our lunch.

It's amazing and the staff are great. It's a tough call if this beats Sang Kee (a mile away)... But if you factor in price, china house is the easy winner. Their beef or chicken broccoli are outstanding.

Food was very good don’t get me wrong, but when the service is awful, i cannot forget it. My boyfriend walked in to get our food, when the women at the front desk read him the order back. One of the foods was wrong. He told her that we did not order the shrimp rolls we got pizza rolls, but then she demanded to him that he had ordered Shrimp rolls and DEMANDED that we pay for them, as well as the pizza rolls that we had ordered. The customer service seriously needs to be revised and needs to learn the concept of “customer service”. It is helping the customer and solving the problem, not demanding that we pay for something that we did not order. We will be sure to not come back because of this incident.

Food and service are consistently great!

Some of the reviews mention rude service. But, they say the food is really good. After trying this place out, it's one of the best Chinese places I have been to. The food was really good albeit pricier than the place I go in south Philly. The staff is the nicest staff at this caliber of restaurant I ever encountered. Always take people that cry waycism with a grain of salt. I will certainly come here again as this is now my favorite Chinese restaurant. I just wish it were closer to me 😁

No flavor. Soggy. Cold.

The man at the counter was very cordial and made sure my food was made to order. Only the outcome was shoddy and disastrous.Shrimp egg roll tasted super cheap- like low grade or old shrimp rolls.😫 I will not return.

Not really sure yet. What I ordered was ok. Let me try some other dishes before I judge.

Basic good cheap chinese food- would order again from here

Food was okay. It was hot and it was passable. Nothing spectacular or to brag about. They didn't ask what sauces we wanted or utensils we needed. They didn't even ask what types of egg rolls we wanted and just gave basic vegetable rolls without soy sauce or spicy mustard. Places like this need to learn that cutting little corners saves you pennies but loses you dollars when customers don't come back!

Been ordering from this family owned restaurant for over 8yrs and the food is always good. Clean restaurant, friendly down to earth people never had an issue.

Been going here for over 10 years and consistently one of the best American-Chinese food restaurants in the area. Always high quality ingredients, great flavor, and awesome service. My favorites are the classics - General Tso (Chicken or tofu), hot&sour soup, and all lo meins!

I got shrimp fried rice and it wasn't as good as it was the last time I got it. The rice was very dry and hard.

This is my favorite Chinese place. Everything is always just what you would expect. I love the chicken with garlic sauce, the fried dumplings, boneless ribs and pork fried rice. The delivery boy is fast and super nice.

I have been ordering take-out at the China House on Manoa Road for YEARS! The menu selection is awesome and the food is just too good, tasty and fresh. The customer service and the staff is very friendly... I can say after all these years we are friends! My favorite is the House Lo Mein and their hot and sour soup and their dumplings and etc LOL I like ALL. Thank you China House. Teddi

First time ordering from China House!! Great food, great prices and great customer service. Ordered General Tso’s combo. Broccoli was perfectly el dente and chicken had perfect amount of spice!! Will definitely order again!

I would give this place more stars but every time I’ve gone in there the cook hasn’t been wearing a mask. This is an absolute MUST during coronavirus. BEWARE.

I just called this restaurant to patronize them for the first time. Prior to ordering, I had a question if there were other ingredients in the shrimp and broccoli, besides the shrimp and broccoli. The female that answered the phone was very rude with her tone as if I was getting on her nerves. No patience. Her: what?!? Shrimp & broccoli!! If she doesn’t know some restaurants put carrots in it. It was over before it started. And this is the reason I don’t patronize Asian restaurants or businesses. They are rude.

Excellent food and service. I have been going here since they open. They have an open kitchen that allows you to see them making your food and also allows you to see how clean it is. The prices are appropriate and the service is great. Absolutely recommend China House

You know I feel guilty. My Son and I have probably eaten takeout from here a hundred times-maybe more, and I have never posted my reviews. The Owners are great, the food is spectacular, and deliveries are always speedy (within a half hour). The only thing I can say is that occasionally the same dish will taste different on separate nights but it is always excellent. Definitely with Hu Nan the best Chinese food on the Eastern Main Line.
