The Mellow Mug on Larry Uteck Blvd is a gem! The atmosphere is inviting, with a clean and cozy ambiance. The staff is exceptionally friendly, making you feel right at home. The delicious coffee is a highlight, and the variety of options caters to different preferences. Ample parking adds to the convenience, and the soft music creates a pleasant backdrop. It's a delightful spot for a relaxing coffee experience.

Went here for the first time today to try there gluten free treats. Staff recommended a cinnamon bun or blueberry scone so I got both. I ate 1/3 of each before taking a picture. I will DEFINITELY be going again! Update: the sugar cookies are also to die for!!!

Cute spot! I love local cafes and this one has a nice vibe to it. I find it can be crowded in the early afternoons. I tried their lattes and they’ve been good, but not as flavourful, especially the specialty lattes. I find that they can improve with the flavouring for sure! They do have the best oat milk: Oatly!!

I've become quite a fan of their mouthwatering scones, which perfectly complement my morning coffee ritual. Speaking of their menu, I can confidently say that Mellow Mug's offerings surpass the typical choices at Starbucks or Tim Hortons. The food is more than just sustenance; it's a culinary delight that never fails to exceed expectations. Recently, I had the pleasure of trying their Market veggie sandwich, and let me tell you, it was a burst of flavors and freshness. The attention to detail in crafting their menu items truly shines through. With each bite, I could taste the care and passion that goes into every dish. Mellow Mug Cafe has become more than just a cafe for me; it's a sanctuary of exceptional tastes. Highly recommend!

Cute atmosphere to sit and stay a while. Only been here once and I had the chicken salad sandwich. The flavour was there but it was just too much bread. The bread was fresh and delicious for sure, but it was just too much as it smothered the flavour inside. Maybe if there was more chicken inside it wouldn't have been like that? For the price it was a bit disappointing. Enjoyed the vanilla latte!

Pretty busy, but not too long of a wait for the quality you get. The menu is big and full of great options, however the menu board is a little hard to read as beautiful as it is. The atmosphere was chill with old times pictures and beautiful mugs which I can't wait to use when indoor dining is available again. I ordered a latte with oat milk and vanilla, less sweet and it was delicious! I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel with bacon egg and cheese. They grill the sandwich on a panini press and it was also pretty good and warm. Overall a good experience, a locally owned business I will be back again!!

The hazelnut latte was smooth and creamy, the blueberry scone was flaky and sweet, the chicken sandwich was juicy and crispy, and the hot chocolate was rich and decadent. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the place was cozy and inviting. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu items.

Best chicken salad sandwich I’ve ordered in the HRM! Almonds & cranberries were a great added touch of flavour and texture. Also paired very well with the split pea & ham soup! The soup itself was also very well made! Wonderful environment & staff is very friendly and polite as well. Highly recommended if you haven’t tried already!

First time going was through the drive through, but definitely suggest sitting in. The atmosphere and decor is great. A cozy little cafe, the blueberry scones are delicious, very fluffy on the inside. Great oat mochas and the chicken salad sandwich is great. The cranberries and almonds in the chicken salad is an amazing added touch, my first thought would be the cranberries being the over powering taste, but that was not the case. Will definitely be back.

By far the best coffee shop in the area. I would drive the extra distance from Halifax to come and get my Iced Caramel Latte. They also offered Lactose Free milk which other coffee shops didn't offer. I absolutely loved the decor with all the plants.

This is a great local coffee shop. They staff as supper friendly. The sandwiches and soups are amazing. You can buy soup to take home and heat or freeze. The baked good treats are so good. Love the Blueberry scones. The cinnamon buns are also good. Check out the pictures

Cute spot! Their iced mocha is good, but can be a little grainy. Atmosphere is nice too! There were signs posted that you could only stay there an hour, which is fair because it’s a busy spot, but maybe not a great place to work or study.
