Had great fieh and chips, loved the handcut shoe string fries (could have been just a tad crispier) lots of crispy, tasty coleslaw. Hubby had chicken parm. It was good. Our first visit would definitely go back. Pizzas smelled heavenly, a steady stream at the pizza take out, so that speaks volumes! A bit away for us, but worth the drive. I was surprised how big the restaurant actually is, 3 rooms!

Bitars has a simple menu and everything is good. I don't know how they do it. You can literally satisfy any craving here. The dining experience is delightful and the staff match the atmosphere.

Great food and atmosphere. Gets busy in the morning, even though they do table service, it is a bit slow when gets busy. Drinks are awesome, chai latte and London fog are both delicious.

My first time eating here last month, what a great experience. I had the fish and chips hands down the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. I will be back soon!

Just got back from river rafting starving and dehydrated, found this spot online and we're really happy we did! Atmosphere was comfortable, service was on top of it with drink refills and the food came out fast and delicious! Prices are extraordinary for these trying times! Thank you for the experience!

Amazing. Food portions were large but not excessive. Got the chicken Parm and it was perfect. My husband couldn't decide what he wanted and staff gave him advice based on how food is prepared - honest advice and he ended up more than happy. Tried the chicken wontons as an appetizer and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor so delicious. This is our new airport stop for sure.

Was visiting my friends who live in Lantz, they took me out to supper here. I ordered a steak sub with fries, my sub was good. The fries were shoestring and way overdone. Sangria was good. Seemed to take a lot of time considering the restaurant was not overfill on both sides. My friends husband had a donair, it came out on a pita crust that was so hard, he couldn't eat it, his wife had it returned for him the second one was better but had to be taken home .my friend had a shrimp/ scallop oasta she said was delicious. . Seating was comfortable but was put in a tiny room and maybe forgotten about. Waitresses were friendly and helpful. It was not the best experience but not the worst..

Good food, great service, definitely going back again

Amazing gluten free selection. And when I say 'selection' I mean it was tough for me to make a decision because there was so much to choose from!! The owner has a family member who is celiac and has made sure that there are delicious gluten free meal options for individuals with celiac! I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this is!! I was passing through from Halifax on my way back to NB, and I'm so glad to have driven the few minutes off the hwy to find this gem! I'll definitely be back! Service was excellent, just like the food! I had the Chicken tetrazzini and also sampled the GF Roasted Red Pepper pasta dish as well! Sincere thanks!

Honestly, wasn't that impressed. Definitely not up to what the reviews stated. Was in halifax for business but would not return to this restaurant. The crab dip was too creamy for us and sat really heavy and not a lot of flavor. The coconut haddock has too much curry, and that's all you could taste. Couldn't taste the fish or coconut at all.

Have never been here before but I definitely will be going again, the staff was extremely kind, and very quick to help. The food was amazing! So good, I ended up getting a scallop and shrimp pasta with fresh veggies and dessert and my bill was less than 25$. Definitely recommend. The food is great and it’s very affordable.

There were 5 of us. They ran out of high chairs so our 23 month old Sat in a chair. It seemed to give her too much freedom. We should have tried a booth with her in the middle. We ordered a nachos appetizer and everyone liked that. The Neptune Shrimp, Chicken parmigiana and Fried fish dinner were loved. I got the Mediterranean fish dinner with veggies and mashed potatoes. That was not a good choice. I didn't like the texture of the fish and the sides were bland. We were going to order a piece of pie but at 10-12 a slice, we opted to pick something up at the Sobey's bakery on the way home instead.

I've visited a few times. Staff is always friendly and willing to give suggestions. As always the food is delicious. I'm slowly making my way through the menu. My extended family was looking to do a Christmas get together I suggested Rob Bitar's. Booked a table for 20 people. We had the far dinning room to ourselves. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much for today. I'll be dreaming about Mamma B's casserole.
