We have shared takeout from Cha Baa Thai with friends before but never eaten in. We went to the Bedford location tonight for an early dinner and had an absolutely excellent experience. It was quiet (a bit early for usual diners I would think). We were greeted quickly and warmly at the door. Asked to sign in, and taken to our table. The floor space has been rearranged to allow for proper distancing - we felt very comfortable with our servers directions. Table service was very prompt and attentive. We ordered spring rolls to start which were fresh and delicious; I would eat the dipping sauce with a spoon! My husband had the red curry with chicken, and I had the Masaman curry with chicken. We both agreed the flavours, quality and quantity were spot on! I couldn't believe how much chicken was in my dish - I could easily eat it for three meals. The sweet potatoes still had excellent texture, not too crunchy or soft. Really blown away with our meal here and prices were very reasonable, considering how long we will be eating this meal. Would highly recommend Cha Baa Thai if you're a Thai food fan! We will be back.

Yesterday we thought would give Thai cuisine a try and decided to give ChaBaa Thai a try. My wife and daughter have eaten there before but this was my first time. First I would like to say that the restaurant has a nice cozy feel to it. Our server was very attentive and quick to get anything we needed. We ordered the Birds Nest, spring rolls and I ordered thai wonton soup for appetizers which were all great. The wonton soup had large wonton and there was a good amount unlike some places only give you a couple. The birds nest had a beautiful presentation and the pork was mild to the palate. Their spring rolls were hot, crispy and tastey. My 11 year old daughter really enjoyed the spring rolls. For the main course we ordered Mango Prawns with a side of white rice. My wife ordered Thai Noodle soup with Prawns and my daughter ordered cashew tofu which they both really enjoyed. Their prices were also very reasonable which I was impressed with. The only area of opportunity that I could really see was I would recommend just giving people a little time to relax after they finish their meal. I dhonestky don't believe it was intentional which is why I am giving a 5 star, but our waitress was very quick and attentive so we had our bill just as we were finishing up. The only other area area of opportunity would be to have desert added to the menu. I asked for the desert menu and was told that they don't serve desert at this location. Overall, this location had good quality, tastey food at an affordable price, so we will be back. Thank you for your great service!

Excellent food experience! Great service. Decent price and, most importantly, extremely delicious fare. We consisted of a party of four adults on a Monday evening. It was not too busy, and we were able to have private conversations without disturbing other guests while enjoying our own good company. Recommended!

Delicious Pang beef and fr sh spring rolls. My guest enjoyed the Pad Thai. Picked the right time to go (2 PM) as the lunch crowd had left so it was a quite meal.

Food is ok, well priced, service is not bad. The cashew chicken and pad thai are really good here, but not a big fan of their curry.

Exquisite food presentations. Attentive service without being overly served. Each individual item on the plate tasted of its own fresh, unique flavour. Something rarely done in restaurants today. If you enjoy Thai, this restaurant is a MUST visit.

Great Thai dinner before heading to the airport. Super delicious, we had Pad Thai and Panang Curry shrimp, very tasty and the service was amazing, highly recommend! 🍱

I love this restaurant! So many delish dishes to please every palate. We were there for lunch. The lunch specials are vast, and average 13-15$ each. There was lots of parking, and great seating available. The only reason that I gave it a 4/5 for wait staff is that the waitstaff were a bit over pushy and borderline rude. I have food allergies so many sauces make me ill. I love ribs. So I tried to order my lunctime special plated BBQ ribs without the sauce. That was an issue, apparently a big one. The wait staff told me the dish was BBQ and so it had to be BBQ sauce on the ribs or they would "not taste good". After about 4 attempts to explain that I cannot have the sauce for my dietary restrictions, they agreed to put it on the side. What a waste of their time and sauce, ahah. Otherwise, great service. Great food. Great place! You would not leave there hungry. Yum!!

You get a lot of high-quality and delicious food for a relatively cheap price. The service was very good, the waitresses were nice and the food came out scarily fast considering the amount of it. My grandmother ordered a dish and forgot to tell the waitress that she was gluten free and when the food came out and she couldn't eat it, the restaurant still offered to take it off the bill even though it wasn't their fault. Speaking of which, there are also lots of gluten free and vegetarian options/you can make 90% of the menu gluten free. I highly recommend this place especially if you like thai food. This is probably the best thai place you can go to.

Crowded place and the people acted like they are busy and have no time for you. Food is decent but considering the service and attitude of people out there it is not worth the money.They must understand that every customer matters and treated equally. Received same treatment second time and will never be interested again.

Ordered a fish dish for something different...baked fish with lemon grass....it was a huge piece of salmon!!! It didn't say on the menu what type of fish it would be and I assumed talapia or basa or something like that. I didn't ask the server either. My new favorite meal is salmon with maple syrup glaze and I've paid 28 to 32 bucks in different restaurants for said meal. So, I nearly died when I saw this was a hefty piece of glazed salmon for 14.95!!!! It was excellent too!! I'm definitely going back for this meal!! Their other food is really good too! Recommend it highly...on the Bedford highway with easy parking....

Disappointed with the portion sizes, considering the price. $50 for a Veg Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken and spring rolls. Veg Pad Thai has frozen vegetables and spongy tofu. Chicken was overcooked. However, the cashew chicken sauce was delicious, so get some rice to soak up the goodness. Will not return due to the portion sizes and quality of food.

Service is so friendly and quick, and food is absolutely delicious! I just love the chicken pad Thai, and cashew chicken dishes. Also has a lovely and relaxing atmosphere, and is super clean. This is a great go-to Bedford spot!

A pleasant surprise. The food was fantastic, the Pad Thai especially. The price was reasonable, and the service was tremendous. Excellent location and is a must-go if you visit Bedford and enjoy the Asian cuisine.

Fast services and great price. Probably the only restaurant who didn't raised the menu prices yet. Incredible! Everything on the menu is quite sweet (added sugar).

Not a bad spot. New to thai food. Need to eat at a few mire thai food restaurants to know what this one was like. Service was ok. Seemed like there could be a little better seasoning for my liking. All in all a decent outing. Thanks to brother and sister in law for recommending we come here.

One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to since moving here from Ontario 6 months ago. Food was full of flavour and presentation was great. Place was clean and service was good.

Great restaurant! I enjoyed the Red Curry dish, my wife had Mango Chicken. Both were quite delicious. The Spring Rolls are excellent. Hav enjoyed Pad Thai in the past - one of my favorites. Service was great and professional. Clean and welcoming restaurant. Would highly recommend. Only issue is with position of urinal in the Men's room in relation to the door. It's straight in the line of sight to some of the tables and no lock on the door. Would recommend that a lock be put on the washroom door.

We have eaten at Cha Baa Thai for the lunch special and for dinner. Both times the taste was just okay and the quantity was a lot less than other thai restaurants in the area. Especially the quantity of protein is low. Their cashew tofu was the best item amongst everything we tried. The spicy Prawn was just okay, although eggplant in the curry was good. Their fish was salmon, which did not absorb as much as much flavour as another fish would.
