After a long ten hr drive I had the best overnight stay here. Upon arrival, the check in with guest services was easy and efficient. I was excited that my assigned room was impeccably clean very spacious, and was located on the pool side which also has a hot tub. I took advantage of the luxury and waded my feet in the hot tub before I called it a night. Their Breakfast based on Covid guidelines included a variety of hot/ cold healthy choices served cafe style by an awesome duo of ladies. They made sure Every guest was served to order. Overall My experience at this hotel was over the top. Thanks

I've stayed here a couple of times now on my journey back and forth from FL. Great location right off of I75, with some food options available nearby, nice hot breakfast, nice rooms (a little dated but still nice and clean). I felt safe, even arriving at 1:30a.m. Nicole at the front desk helped me both times I have stayed here and she is just THE SWEETEST and most helpful. I will be staying here on ALL of my trips back and forth. Thank you again Nicole! Keep being a kind human!

Room was nice, clean and the beds comfortable. Didn't need a night light because the light coming around the blinds made me think it was daytime. Breakfast was good with real eggs not powdered had a good variety. Glad hot breakfasts are back. Happy hour was great with beer, wine and snacks. We traveled with our two dogs and they even had a nice dog park for them. We will definitely stay again.

Our room was perfect. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Was not impressed with gm Rick when I talked with him on the phone Friday before making reservations. Very short and condescending but the amenities is what still drew me to the hotel. Great staff but 2 standouts were eddie a maintenance guy who was a hardworking and made us feel at home. Also Corine with breakfast staff. She greeted us with an affectionate smile and great attitude. Will be back as long as we don't have to encounter RICK. Every one else is top notch

The Wingate has become my hotel of choice whenever I'm in Valdosta. It offers so much for the money, with the extra amenities. I have a 75lb pitty, who loves the built in Dog-park, and we recommend it to all our pet-travelling friends. the rooms are always clean, and even though I know the hotel is pet friendly, I never see any evidence of Pets in the rooms which is surprising but very impressive. The housekeeping team obviously does an amazing job. The free alcohol and snacks during happy hour are a really nice bonus, and its definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. so many options - I'm never disappointed. I haven't used the pool, but often sit out in the courtyard with a coffee and book. highly recommend!

I must say I really enjoyed myself at this property. Great people and a great location. The breakfast was awesome and the nightly social was even better. The wine selection was excellent! I was even allowed to have a taste tester of all the wines they had on display. No doubt I will be returning to stay at this property in the future!

Stayed one night at this property on our way to Sarasota, Fl. Nicely surprised at the property. We have a dog and their was plenty of room for her to sniff outside. The breakfast was good, room was nice and they even had a "happy hour". Complimentary beer and wine, snacks, coffee and cookies! Great way to end our evening.

Love this place. Staff is extremely helpful, kind and friendly. Breakfast is a hot breakfast with enough choices to be satisfied. The hallways and rooms with carpet feel a bit dated, but nothing horrible. Dogs are allowed here, so if you're allergic or don't want to here a barking dog, ask for a room that doesn't allow dogs. If you can use one of the many discount on Wingate by Wyndhams home page. We save 15 a night .if you are in town for a week as for the week discount. It will be about 25 a night cheaper. Also, even though this is Located along the highway, it's very quiet with a peaceful feel to it This is my go to hotel everything I'm in town. Several food place located within walking distance.

Domoleshia was excellent. We arrived around 3am and she was very accommodating and quick since we wanted to rest quickly. Pet friendly which is a plus. Free hot breakfast is great, lots of options. Room was clean, comfortable, and cold! Great location we had all of our belongings on the bed of the truck and nothing was taken or out of place.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here! The breakfast is awesome-- so many options. Pool was nice. Location is right off the interstate. Rooms are dated, but clean. Room service comes around every morning. They allow dogs, and there is a fenced in dog park that is very nice. The Staff is very nice.

Well worth the value. Even had a free bar. Outstanding. When they say pet friendly, they mean it. Our cat hid under the bed and we could not get her out. The maid offered to help us and loaned us a feather duster to force her out.

Room was spacious, comfortable (including the bed) and clean. Plenty of space for clothing. With many properties having a king size bed, as we did, leaves little room for a comfy couch to watch TV. We had it all!! The food choices were plentiful and well prepared. A real treat was the Happy Hour served each Friday and Saturday night! Our stay was on September 23, and 24, 2023.

I have been to a lot of Hotels. This Place is the best! We were met by smiling happy faces. Clean, friendly staff, the pool and hot tub was a nice oasis after a long day. They had free wine and beer social hour which was nice to meet people. Breakfast was delicious and offered nutritious options. We had one bump in the road with staff at breakfast but the general manger handled it immediately. Thank You for the great stay! We will be back for our next adventure at Wild Adventures!

The complimentary breakfast buffet is great. Fresh eggs, grits, biscuits, sausage in addition to diy waffles, oatmeal with lots of fixins, cold cereal, baked goods, coffee, juice, and milk. The rooms are roomy, clean and well appointed. The pool and hot tub area are clean, neat and there are plenty of towels. The property is immediately next door to three restaurants, but still manages to be quiet and relaxing. I am torn on posting this as I don't want it to change due to increased traffic, but they provide such a great value and experience that I couldn't not compliment them on my stay. We hope to stay again before the end of the summer.

Overall decent, needs a bit of updating rust around tub drains. Rooms clean, beds slept good, nice pillows, love the breakfast! Friendly staff. Great location to orlando. Several shops and food options in walking distance. Pool and hot tub looked clean I did not use though. Parking lot good

Super nice and clean pet friendly hotel. One of the best we’ve ever stayed in with our 2 pups. Great rates and friendly staff. We also really appreciated the little puppy park on site!! A perfect comfy stay!

Really great experience all around. The woman at the front desk (Nicole maybe?) was so sweet and helpful. It was happy hour when we arrived and they had free beer and wine. We were traveling with our dogs and they have a small fenced in dog park beside the building. The beds were comfy and breakfast was surprisingly good too! The hallway was a little bit noisy but that’s the only negative I can think of.

Only reason for 4 stars is because I didn't personally stay here. But from what I could see I'm giving it 4. My son and his family stayed and I came to visit throughout the day and evening. The room they stayed in was a suite and it was very clean. They had happy hour each evening with beer and wine choices, as well as some snacks. Staff was very friendly as well. My son didn't have any negative comments on their stay.

The rooms were cleaned, nice pool and Hot tub. We stayed here on our way to Florida for 1 night. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was so nice. Happy Hour 6-8 was so nice!!! That’s why we chose this hotel. Breakfast was free and delicious!

What a great property! If you’re traveling with a pet, there’s a dog park, the rate for the pet is $10. You can’t beat that! The place is tidy! …with a fine (and better than most) breakfast! The staff we met were so polite and cheerful. Check them out!

From the young lady at the desk when we checked in to all the staff we encountered while we were there everyone was polite, pleasant & helpful. Our room was very good. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The happy hour was a pleasant experience also. We are definitely planning on this being our destination stopover when we make our trips to and from FL.

We were fortunate to be able to reserve one of the last available rooms several days ahead of Hurricane Ian. Staff was very pleasant and efficient, accomodations were comfortable. Though we weren't travelling with a dog this time, we've done so before, and appreciate the provision of a fenced dog walk area and the cleanliness of the grounds considering that this hotel accepts canine guests, too. Dog noise was not a problem for us, but loud housekeeping staff conversations in the hall are intrusive. We could hear every word through our closed door. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for a night. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. We arrived a little after 6 pm and they had complimentary drinks and snacks. Hot tub and pool really clean. The staff was wonderful. Walking distance to many nice restaurants and they had a small fenced in dog area right next to the parking lot.

I've stayed in many hotels in Valdosta and this hotel beats them all. The rooms were well maintained. They smelled of cleaning products when we arrived. The lady at breakfast on Sunday 9/4 was by far the sweetest person I've ever encountered. The breakfast was hot and fresh. You can tell the entire staff loves their jobs. Check in was easy. Overall this hotel is a 10/10!

I tried to find the best option near wild adventures. All around I'm beyond satisfied with my choice. Great pool and hot tub. Yes the carpet needed to be cleaned as I read in other reviews. But everything else was clean and tidy. Breakfast was Awesome way better than any other hotels breakfast and Happy Hour was honestly worth the stay. The pool hours were very weird 10am-9pm so letting the kids get up and swim didn't go as planned. (Since wild adventures water park was closed) friendly staff! I definitely recommend staying here. Great stores and restaurants next to it!

We have stayed here twice. Nicole and Charity where very helpful and found us the best room available and a quiet setting as I requested. Our room was very clean and tidy. The bed very comfortable and I am very picky about the beds. They have free drinks Monday through Saturday. With snacks and things for children as well. Great value. We don’t have pets but they are pet friendly or very reasonable surcharge of only $10. Highly recommend this hotel and their staff

It was a nice enough hotel...once we were moved to a room without any cockroaches. Yes, we were greeted by two of them in our first room. Very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Would have been nice to maybe have the room discounted a bit seeing as we had our little welcoming committee and had to move to another room, though.

Legitimately the best hotel experience I've ever had. Hotel staff were awesome, the entire place was clean and well maintained, the free breakfast was awesome, but what stole the show for us was the dog park. They are very pet friendly, and the dog park, located just outside, allowed our dogs a much needed stretch before we hit the road. Would highly recommend, and look forward to staying again!

Definitely one of the worst hotels that I’ve ever stayed in. I read the reviews prior to booking, so I was surprised that things transpired the way that they did. The rooms and corridor were extremely dated. The rooms are in dire need of an update. The first thing I noticed was the strong smell of marijuana as soon as we walked in. It was so strong that the hotel employees went to several guests rooms in order to get them to “take it outside”. There were guests also smoking weed in the hot tub. The staff were very nice and friendly though. We enjoyed the free wine from 6-8:00 that the hotel offered. Even though they were nice, I definitely would not book at this hotel again.

The hotel is updated and clean. When we arrived to the hotel check in was very quick. The room was very spacious, very clean, and it smelled very good as well. The water pressure was the best thing about it I had one of the best showers I have had in a long time.

The staff was friendly. Room was comfortable. Pet fee reasonable. Then turned the lights on in the morning and there was a 🪳 cockroach the desk. It scurry behind the fridge. Front desk said they would have maintenance check it. The room cost us $122
