Great food, sports TV, great service are what you will find at Walk-ons. We had the double bacon cheeseburger and it was soooo good. We added on some fried pickles and they were tangy and thin, fried to perfection! We enjoyed this lunch! We were so full that we did not venture into the dessert menu this time, but they looked like shakes and more! Certainly would enjoy going here again! Enjoy!

The food was good. The stuffed burger was great. Probably the best thing I've had from there

I'm pretty adamant when it comes to customer service. The host was nice and friendly. She sat us down and then a server came out. She did not greet nor smile. We let her know we were new to the place and she at least gave us some time to look over the menu.  I just feel the first impression is absolutely the best way thing to do when being a server is to smile and say "hello." A very simple gesture goes a long way, just as an unwelcoming gesture can really have an effect on our experience as diners. I believe her name is Ashlie, which was on the receipt. I still gave her positive responses to her service since I am no Karen. I figured maybe she just needed some happy customers. She did well checking up on us and taking plates off the table. I never leave a bad tip so I still tip her good. I think a little personality adjustment would make it better for her as a server in this industry. Food experience: amazing! There were so great options for kids and they all look delicious. Not your typical, bread and hot dogs. We got our baby fried catfish meal and it came out perfect. Good seasoning and she liked it. Next, we ordered mozzarella logs. Those were great! It has a bite of overcooked on high heat oil but was still great. The marinara sauce was on par. The drinks were good! Stout and as it should for the high prices on them. I ordered Ribye Poboy. Delicious and I didn't find anything wrong with it. Crawfish etouffee was okay, I wouldn't order it again. I'm picky when it comes to cajun food but as a sports bar, it's still alright. It just has more of a tomato sauce taste. I'm not sure how they make their roux but I would've loved it with more garlic, grilled bell peppers, and onion tastes to it. The tomato flavor is overpowering. I don't know if that's what they use it on there as one of their ingredients but it tastes like that. Fried chips and queso are good. Will I come back again? Likely. The menu has great options and still has many items that I want to try out. I know it's not the typical cajun restaurant I expected but they're still good. It's good to have a different palette for what another establishment offers.

Wow, a friend suggested we go in and we are glad we did. Redfish Tacos, Cajundilla and a burger all hit the spot. Our server, Alyssa B - Bennet, we think, kept us fully served with everything we needed. Great Job, WalkOns!!!

Service was good and food was good as well. The Boom Boom shrimp was awesome and I would order it again. I also order the shrimp/deep fried jalepeno appetizer. It was tasty, but it wasn't my favorite. If I had to describe it, I would say it was "put together weird." It was spicy and had lots of breading. The blackened fish was seasoned properly. I ate a lot of deep fried food and I felt awful for it later. However, the food and service deserved a strong four stars.

Table service sports bar with ample parking. Restaurant is new. In good repair and clean. Restaurant is very loud with multiple TV screens on all available places including in your own both. Service was incredible. Our waitress could not have been and better. Prices were slightly on the high side. Burgers, fries, onion rings, and appetizer were all good but not exceptional. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great sports bar.

The pasta was creamy and added blackened chicken that was well seasoned and cooked perfect. Crawfish etouffee was also really good

Yummy food. Today the food was very salty 🧂, but still good. Very friendly service. The Shrimp 🍤 wrapped in bacon and jalapeños was delicious (salty though). The champion burger 🍔 is a good size for smaller appetite. (Salty) The boom boom Shrimp was okay. Not bad Not great. (Salty)

This is one of my favorite locations in Lubbock. The service is always great, the food is amazing and the drinks are on point. I highly recommend their fried shrimp 💯, honestly the best shrimp I’ve had probably my whole life based on breading, size of shrimp and cooked perfectly. I love the cheeseburgers and the onion rings! I just wish they had regular fries and not just sweet potato fries but that’s probably for the best so I don’t eat them all! 10/10 Recommend!!

First of all I placed two online orders. Everything was good until I checked my food. There was no bread for the pasta, I got none of my sauces and most importantly my cookie was RAW. How do you not properly bake a cookie? Had to go home and bake it myself. They weren’t even busy. The girls were extremely friendly which is why I gave 1 star.

I ordered my lunch online to be picked up around 12:30 on 9/6. The online ordering process was quick and easy. My order was hot and ready when I got there, and the staff were warm and welcoming. When I got back home, I realized that a couple of ingredients were missing, but the food was so delicious, I decided not to knock my rating down because of that. I got the Ribeye Poboy, and it was fantastic. The fries were also well seasoned and went great with the sauces I ordered on the side. It was a very scrumptious lunch.

The food looked amazing when it came out! The cheese logs...awsome! Try them with spicy ranch! We had the blackened chicken with Alfredo, which was lacking in flavor. In personal opinion, but a little table, Salt did more to help. We also had the hangover burger, which was pretty well executed! It looked smelled and tasted pretty darn good! Drinks were strong, and the menu was pretty different. I would recommend at least giving it a shot. Would consider it Cajun fusion if anything

We did not have a great experience with the waiting process. That whole "about 5 minutes " turns into an hour plus they sat everyone that came after us, before us. Very frustrating. Our waitress Was great and very attentive. The food was pretty good. We tried the sliders, catfish po boy, the scholarship burger, chicken bomber melt and voodoo shrimp with grits.

Absolutely horrible experience, there was not a single person was nice we sat at the bar and no one came to help us then after being told that we had a 30 min wait in a completely empty building and repeatedly got told what we couldn’t do not a single worker was nice and it’s literally my moms birthday (she has a birthday necklace on) and they were still rude ended up having to leave because of how uncomfortable we were…. I normally love walk ons but after they indirectly kicked us out I’ll never go back

My sister and I went and didn’t know what we wanted to eat but the bartender Alyssa guided me through the menu and helped me pick out the best burger. Very knowledgeable and helpful. After getting our food, my sister started choking and Alyssa came over and did the Heimlich maneuver to help her out! Always showing care and concern for her guests! Alyssa is the best!!

I went recently to have lunch and since I have never been I wanted to try something new. the food was great, but Alyssa the bartender was amazing! She is so kind and welcoming and helped me make a solid food choice since it was my first time going. Alyssa really went above and beyond for me and really made my visit wonderful. Thank you so much Walk-on's and Alyssa!

This place was clean, friendly, and had a big menu with a variety of options to choose from. I enjoyed my meal and speaking to the bartenders and wait staff. I def would go check this place out if you happen to be in Lubbock. The portion size of the food it very big. So be prepared for a lot of food. Also you have to try the High West Smash oh my it’s is high west bourbon with peach purée, lemon, mint, muddled strawberries, and orange juice it is delicious. I recommend this drink. You will snag more than just one or even two. Then the delicious Hickory Burger cooked to perfection and loaded with delicious onion rings and that amazing sweet baby Rays BBQ sauce, cheese and on a brioche bun is to die for. Go to walk-ons and get your eat on.

MY FIRST TIME AT A WALK ONS! Entering to a warm welcome followed by gracious service! My margarita was made to perfection! I say that because a majority of the time establishments use way too much sour mix. This was perfectly balanced.. not like they had measured the portions but like they knew how to blend the ingredients. This salad… THE Chicken Berry Pecan Salad! My GAWDDDD this salad is fit for a goddess! It’s so filling! The burst of flavors will have you re-indulging with every bite. If this is a first date for you (reading this) don’t get this salad because chances are you’ll end up not being able to speak as the salad will demand all your attention. Clearly we will return!

The food is average and overpriced. The service is SLOOWWWW every time I’ve been. Also, I paid $7 for 6 bites of crawfish etouffee with 3 whole crawfish in it. The only thing worth eating that I’ve had is the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding

Maddie was a great server and extremely nice. She also helped my wife and I decide what to order since it was our first time there. Highly recommend!

This place is more of a bar than a restaurant. This is my third time actually going to a Walk-On's restaurant. I have never been impressed by the food. It's supposed to be a sports bar with a Cajun flare. But being a native New Orleans it never comes across as even decent Cajun. This time I decided to go in a different direction. I went with the sliders thinking how can a bar mess up a small Burger. Unfortunately I was again left wanting more. Not wanting more because of the small size of the burgers. But wanting more because of the lack of flavor from my little slider. The service was great even though the bartenders were dealing with a drunk constituent it was still very attentive and respectful. Being able to watch the NBA playoff games with decent beer was probably the best part of the night.

The food was great but the service and the atmosphere need a little polishing. I enjoyed all the TVs with sports but the music doesn't fit the venue. Also bartenders need work on making drinks as I ordered a top shelf margarita and was extremely too sweet. A little work behind the bar wouldn't hurt.

The first sports restaurant I’ve been to in a long time where I felt comfortable taking my teenage son! The atmosphere was so cool (so many viewing options). The food was delicious (highly recommended the Cajundillas and red beans and rice). Our server, Erin Lynn was very attentive and friendly. You could tell she actually enjoyed her job and genuinely wanted to to be there.

The bayou pasta is horrible at this location. Hopefully it's better elsewhere. I should have known when the waitress asked if I wanted extra sauce when I ordered. I said no thinking the sauce would be adequate. But no , it had very little . Even when the disha was delivered she asked 2 more times if I wanted extra sauce to make it "creamy". I said no bc I didn't want to pay extra..... i spent 20 bucks on a dish that sucked all bc they wanted 3 more bucks to put sauce on it. They don't bus the table either.

Good food recommend the gumbo, devils on horseback & chips & Cajun queseaux for appetizers. Had the Pastalaya & mango Mahi for entrée which were good. The pulled pork sandwich & stuffed cheeseburger looked delicious will have to try that next time. Had the warm cookie sundae and beignetts for dessert they were good as well. I will have to try the crispy creme bread pudding next time it looks good.
