Peacock House B&B is one of the crown jewels of Lubec. Jim & Marybeth keep an impeccable house and yard. Their service is warm and attentive, always asking how they can do better. Always an interesting and tasty breakfast. We'll be back, and would consider nowhere else to stay in the area.

This place is absolutely everything you want a B&B to be! Gorgeous interiors, squeaky clean, super cool vibe- library, CD wall, musical instruments, delicious breakfasts, lush grounds in a quirky sweet little town. We so enjoyed being with the owners, who are kind, accommodating, interesting and so very good at what they do. Quiet and restorative, warm and inviting - Peacock House B&B is worth it's weight in gold. Highly recommend! We will be back!

My husband and I visited Lubec for the first time in March and stayed at the Peacock House B&B - we loved staying here! The home is just beautiful. Our room had everything we needed and was just beautiful. The sheets were the best :) We also enjoyed the public areas downstairs with the music, puzzles, and books. We enjoyed a charcuterie board as well, and it was perfect for a light lunch or dinner. The owners are very kind and provided a very yummy breakfast! The location is perfect - we walked everywhere to the local businesses and we arrived just in time for their local bakery to open :) Highly recommend staying here!

This was absolutely the best bed and breakfast we’ve ever stayed in! I can’t recommend it enough. The house and bedroom were decorated beautifully with unique antique furniture and everything was immaculate. The Margaret Chase Smith Suite was perfect with a comfy king size bed and cozy bedding. It had a Keurig set up with several choices of coffee, teas, creamer & sweeteners. They even covered the technology bases with a TV, MagSafe charger and clock with plug outlets. Breakfast was like a page out of Bon Appetite magazine, and tasted delicious! I truly can’t say enough about the Innkeepers Mary Beth and Jim, they were fantastic hosts. Five stars is not enough! Thank you for helping to make our time in Lubec memorable.

Lovely BnB with wonderful owners and interesting guests. Delicious breakfasts, beautiful backyard to relax in. Easy walk into Lubec’s main street. Lubec is the kind of place that grows on you—much more to do than initially meets the eye— we barely scratched the surface.

It was our first trip to Lubec and it was the perfect weekend getaway. We can't recommend the Peacock House enough! Jim and Mary Beth were the ultimate hosts and made our stay so comfortable and fun - they are the sweetest and kindest duo! The Inn was gorgeous, clean and cozy with thoughtful details throughout. We stayed in the Margaret Chase-Smith room and it was charming as ever! We felt right at home! We can't wait to visit again... And we definitely won't miss out on the lavender pancakes next time ;) What a lovely spot! Simply outstanding. Thank you Jim and Mary Beth - it was such a treat!

A fantastic stay all around. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations, location or hospitality. The owners / hosts are consummate pros and a joy to chat with. We hope to come back someday!

Peacock House B&B was outstanding. We stayed in the Meadow room which had a large bed with luxurious sheets as well as a cozy sitting room. The location is a quick walk to a couple tourist spots as well as some taverns. I am gluten intolerant and the hosts made sure i would still have a proper breakfast. They even asked if i would need a separate toaster! I was floored by their dedication to ensuring i could eat their food. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at the peacock!
