This Motel is just amazing! The rooms are large, the beds very comfortable, its spotless clean and they have a wonderful to the garden with apple trees. The best were the homemade muffins each morning (banana and double chocolate was my favorite). The staff is very friendly - in total we had a wonderful 2 night stay at this motel!!

Spacious room. Clean bedding. Some things i would normally report, but they were in the midst of a major staff transition and the new folks were great! I try not to use hotels and especially motels. However, this is the second best room we've stayed in in years. The proximity to West Quoddy Head and 'in-town' Lubec was great!

We found this charming hotel on the way from Georgia to see the West Quoddy Lighthouse, which was only six miles away. It was off season for them, but they went out of their way to accommodate us. Our room was updated, with amenities. We were very appreciative of their hospitality, and highly recommend staying there.

Very convenient location. Excellent winter check-in process. Pleasantly reliable heat and hot water systems. Nice quiet, clean room that had everything my dog and I needed. Mattress was comfortable. Night sky is beautiful! There was some sort of perfume scent in the bedding that was lasting and overpowering. I would have been happier if it wasn't present or less overwhelming. The bathroom is very attractively updated. Could use a grab bar near the toilet for seniors who are not accustomed to low toilets anymore. Cable TV could use a better channel package. That may be an unfair judgment on my part because I haven't watched Cable/Network TV in more than 7 years. Lol...I'm now reminded why! I would not hesitate to stay at this motel again. Thank you. As someone said, this place is not the Hilton. This building has the kind of quirks you would expect in an old-school motel. Despite this, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my stay. What really makes this place stand out is the people. I was greeted in the reception area by John, who welcomed me warmly and spent a great deal of time sharing information on local restaurants and attractions. He instantly felt like an old friend. The room was very clean, and there was even a binder with maps and a trivia page about the area. Every employee I encountered was incredibly friendly and obviously cared about a job done well. It was really warming to experience this kind of personal touch in today's world.

I really can’t say enough about this place and the staff. We had an incident with a rental car and had to stay at the motel for 11hrs after we checked out. The staff continuously checked on us, offered us trips to the store for food and drinks, use of staff bathroom and sitting area. Terri and Minzy and ladies were truly kind and helpful humans. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent place.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Canada. Price was great. Desk clerk took the time to tell us all about the area and the history of the town and the amazing hiking and parks in the area. From the outside, it's unassuming, but the inside had a nice little lending Library, and the rooms! The rooms are REALLY well appointed - flooring is new, furnishings are modern, bathroom was grerat, everything very clean. You would never guess from the exterior how spiffy it is inside! Breakfast with homemade muffins. Highly recommend, and we want to come back to check out the parks.

This motel was very cozy and clean. The room was spotless and quite big. Even though it wasn't mentioned that there would be any breakfast, there was some available. But it's only during summer and it is a basic breakfast with homemade muffins, yoghurt, coffee and juice. The staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this motel to everyone. The only downside might be, that there aren't any restaurants nearby and those in Lubec tend to close early, even in summer.

Great location, clean rooms, excellent service at the front desk-my boyfriend and I really enjoyed visiting with Teri and she was very helpful giving us recommendations for what to do in the area. Delicious muffins in the morning - I highly recommend to anyone staying in Lubec

We had an excellent stay at Eastland in July. We were in the apartment and it was very spacious and comfortable. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Close to Lubec but, not too close. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

It's the only decent motel that's still open and available during snowy winter. The room was not bad, and it was fairly priced, but there was a shortage of staff during the off season.

Fantastic people. We met the owners and several helpers, especially Josh that worked with our phones to fill out the App. for our trip to Campobello. Spotless, comfortable and convenient to downtown. When we arrived we walked into the office and were greeted with the biggest smile and biggest "welcome" by the biggest guy. It was wonderful! And fair priced.

The location was perfect for my three day hiking trip. So many trails on the coastline I didn’t know about till the front desk gave me a huge map. Very friendly staff, comfy clean room. Loved the fresh muffins with the continental breakfast. Quiet and peaceful. Only two complaints I had where the in room ac was noisy and didn’t work great & the bathroom had no vent. For the price I paid I’d stay here again if I get the opportunity.

This hotel was the best of our entire New England trip. We stayed in the newer wing. The room was spacious. We had an issue with a loose, unfriendly dog in the hallway. (Owners must not have shut the door.) The lady at the front desk immediately called the dog owners, and the hotel owner got involved. He apologized and said that dog owners had to leave. He strives for a family-friendly environment.

I stayed for a night during Thanksgiving week and it was ok. When I called a few hours in advance to ask if this was a hotel and for availability, the gentleman who answered didn’t verify that this was the Eastland Motel. That was a little confusing since motels/hotels usually introduce themselves with that info. The room was very nice, clean, and eco-friendly. It’s also like 10 mins from the Quoddy State Park with a pretty lighthouse!

Small, but comfortable and well appointed. Mattress upgrade recently, bamboo mattresses, very comfy. Nice staff. Coffee and treats in morning.

Wonderful upgrades have been done in most of the rooms...so pretty and super clean! Awesome beds! Just as comfortable as the Comfort Inns! And those muffins...are so delicious! Don't ever stop baking them... a definite must!!! Thanks for a great stay! You both are the best! We will be back!

Appalled that I can't find my earlier review here. We stayed here for a week in June of 2020, and it was an excellent value. It was quiet, though there were multiple other guests. The bed was comfortable and gave a great night's sleep. No, there were no fancy high-end fancy trinkets or gimicks - just a clean, quiet room with working ait conditioning (it was 90 outside during the day!). Would go back here in a heartbeat the next time we go to Lubec!

Great place to rest. Small but adequate 🥞. We were upgraded to the blue cottage which was a house separate from the motel. Nice older cottage but CLEAN and comfortable. My husband will no longer stay in a hotel/motel. It must be an apartment style.

We loved the Eastland Motel. It's a little gem of a find. All the staff we met were so friendly & helpful (Sasha, Michele & the owner Heather.) Rooms were clean, beds firm and comfy, & homemade blueberry & raspberry muffins in the morning. Quiet AC in room & the room was a great size for a family of four. Lots of room. Loved the hardwood floors too. Definitely recommend & plan on returning there again when we visit Maine.

The rooms were clean, warm and amazingly big. The view out of our window was stunning in its simplicity. The owners were accommodating when we asked to dry our clothes,(we rode our motorcycles up, 4 1/2 hours through the rain). The freshly made muffins for breakfast were moist and bursting with flavor. The beds were comfortable and big, warm and just enough blankets. The sheets were clean and smelled great also, (im a nut about clean sheets) . There was also a book shelf full of different kinds of books and games for all. Well worth the price and trip up there. We will definitely have to try and get up there again so we can stay there. Love, love, loved it!!!

We stayed 2 days the first time and loved it. Drove a hour out of our way to stay again for 1 day yesterday Very clean and the mattresses were amazing Firm. Pet Friendly. We stayed in room 21 which was very convenient to the back yard for our dog. Sheets were white and clean. Room is a pet friendly room but doesn't smell like one it smelled good Wood floors. Beds extra large for a full I definitely recommend this motel In the backyard is an apple tree.
