Very good food and pleasant, helpful crew. I can recommend this place for everyone who wants a break from pizzas and burgers and try some Jewish food. I love livers and here are just delicious. I also tried a duck - also great but too big for me - next time I will ask for half of the portion.

More than just a restaurant, this place took me to a Jewish home, deeply rooted in tragic past, hinting slightly the present. Food was perfect, nothing more to say. Waiters deserve highest praise as they took good care of us. Overall I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart.

I love everything about this place, from the beautiful décor and amazing atmosphere, to the caring and friendly staff and the delicious food, portions of which I haven’t been able to overeat. A must-to-visit point on the map of Lublin. Thanks and see you again!

A lovely spot in Lublin Old Town to sip coffee and enjoy rugelach. The menu tells the history of the restaurant and is decorated with moving art and pictures of Lublin Jewish history.

The food is great (but not if you’re a plain Jane person) Traditional food hand made Great service Got the chicken livers, corned beef, and the desert was awesome The livers had too sweet a taste Bread was great The corned beef was …corned beef. Probably would recommend something else and it took over half hour to “prepare” But service and the quality of prep was great

A Delightful Fusion of Tradition and Comfort at Mandragora Upon my last visit to Lublin, a delightful dining experience awaited at Mandragora, a Jewish restaurant that effortlessly encapsulates the rich culinary heritage of Jewish cuisine. Nestled in the heart of the city, Mandragora presents a charming terrace setting that invites diners to relax and savor their meals amidst a serene backdrop. The menu, a tapestry of traditional Jewish staples, offers an array of choices from succulent fish dishes to hearty soups, and satisfying meat platters to indulgent desserts. Each dish, lovingly prepared, seems to tell its own story of cultural history and culinary artistry. The flavors are authentic, bold, and rendered with a homely touch that resonates with comfort food at its finest. Service at Mandragora is commendable, with staff exhibiting both warmth and professionalism, reflecting the establishment’s commitment to a welcoming dining experience. The option for kerbside pickup and no-contact delivery is a testament to their adaptability and consideration for diverse customer needs, especially in these times. With a 4.6-star rating from over 4,000 reviews, my sentiments align with the majority, recognizing Mandragora as a culinary jewel in Lublin. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, a meal here is more than just dining — it’s a cultural immersion that leaves you with a sense of connection to Jewish heritage and a gratifying culinary memory. I eagerly look forward to my next visit.

Very pleasant place with tasty liver, good wine choices and friendly staff. 2x stars off for the menu and the disproportionate size of dish3s. Lot's of things are missing because some are served only in the winter, some only on Fridays, some only on Sabbath and some simply sold out... Give me a break! Just print a special menu for different days and don't list winter food in the summer! Here I was just annoyed and very much confused... Also the servings are very weird as if planned by different chefs. The duck was huge, my salad more a side dish than a main course. One of the deserts a tiny yogurt, the other huge plate of cheese and fruits. Consequently I ate my main dish before my friend was done with 1/3 of his main, his desert was gone before I touched half of mine. The dishes should be more balanced but aren't.

A very typical and traditional Jewish restaurant, with a great atmosphere. If you are a tourist and are not so open to know other tastes, be careful, it's a little different from the "common taste". But if you like to taste new flavours and highly appreciate new experience this is perfect place for you. The meals are very well prepared with perfect details and well presented.

The food was just fantastic (we had polish duck and liver with onion sauce), the service was very kind and the garden had a cozy feeling. We had a great experience in every matter.

A fantastic and unique restaurant in Lublin! At first – the interior creates the real Jewish atmosphere. As for the food – it's incredibly good! At first, the Jewish coffee, full of outstanding aroma and taste. The duck was so huge that I wasn't able to finish it! And the pascha was very good! Well-served, good-looking and tasteful food and atmosphere here! Totally flawless!

I’ve only sampled a couple of things on this menu during my stay, but the goose fat and caramelised onion pierogi were stunningly good as Postie, wonderful, sour borscht.

After long day of sightseeing, we’ve entered Mandragora for a dinner. And boy, was it a good choice! Amazingly friendly and well informed staff, delicious food (if you’re taking the duck, I recommend sharing it with someone - we ate it together and it was enough). We’ve ordered soups, as well. Kapuśniak with sweet ingredients was just amazing, same for Rosół. If you look for a Jewish cuisine, that’s 100% a place to visit.

Nicely decorated Jewish restaurant, the food was tasty and a variety of dishes to choose from, there are also some specialties, with liver, etc... Cozy inside. Only the serving was a bit of a min point, we were with a little group, but the waitress hadn't written anything down, so some of the dishes came later and one of them was wrong. But overall a fine restaurant.

One of the best dining experiences we've had. You are totally immersed in a Jewish culinary world. We even asked to be left with the menus to read some more as they were so interesting and full of information! Our server was just incredible and we had really generous portions of amazing food.
