single traveller looking for lunch and was not disappointed! arrived around 12pm after walking through the old town streets, found a lovely small restaurant that was very welcoming. they serve really tasty soups, made even better in winter. clean and tidy place, friendly staff. undoubtedly 5/5.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches, and amazing borscht (as a Ukrainian, I confirm this). The service was very fast and friendly. We enjoyed it very much.

To this soup I added tears of joy. A flawless meal and lovely service. Don’t leave Lublin without coming to Ambaras.

In this little bistro you'll get large servings of flavorful and satiating soups and subs and find good value for money. The staff, however, lacks attention to bathroom supplies a bit (they didn't refill a soap dispenser, even right after they went in the bathroom). Also, there's no AC and very little space in the shade outside, so I imagine hot summer months must be tough to sit through a whole plate of hot soup.

Incredibly delicious soups and sandwiches prepared using fresh ingredients. The soups were surprisingly filling with abundance of meat and vegetables inside. Very tasty brownie! Surprisingly low prices for such a high quality meal.
