I went there with my team at sky bar with rooftop arrangements and it was all gone really nice. Cocktail and dinner everything was elegant and the staff is really good. Just need to improve a bit in drinks and good music. For corporate its perfect 👌 Try once with family and specially in night.

Unfriendly front desk staff, checked in with family late at night and the people at the front desk asked for identification (Passport and OCI) for my 8 yr old because she is a US citizen and according to them those are GOI rules - never had any other hotel ask for a kids ID and despite my best efforts at searching, I can't find any notification by the government that require ID for minors, Indian or otherwise. OK had no choice at that time so showed them the ID but then was hit with this whammer - was staying for a night and was asked by the lady at the front desk about what TIME I will be checking out in the morning! Wow, great service, ,,👏 never stayed in a hotel where they wanted to know what time I will be checking out - not what date or how many days will I be staying but what time I will be leaving.... It's clear that their front desk staff (at least the night staff) is in serious need of retraining. Other than that, good hotel with great views and nice rooms. The breakfast buffet could be better. There were enough choices but the food wasn't that good taste wise.

A lovely place to stay .. you get what you pay for .. location : located with a beautiful view overlooking the Gomti river, the sandstone elephants and the Ambedkar monument.. Rooms : spacious , top notch… has all basic amenities .. Dinning : good food with a variety of salads, breads, main-course.. sweet dishes .. loved the sweet tamarinds .. service : great service. Except when your supposed to be billed for the meals the same night ..

Big No for wedding or events!! My brothers wedding was planned here and we had a very below average experience. Below were eyebrow raising concerns: 1. Venue was not clean, washrooms were not clean 2. Staff was just not attending they were just moving around and looking busy 3. There was no manager entire time, all staff kept saying they are the manager 4. Food was below average, not at all like 3 start or 4 star 5. Hospitality was poor ! Adv: Rooms have great and rooms look good. But don’t go by the renaissance group name they definitely do not live up to the standards.

Randomly picked up this hotel and landed up making our most memorable holidays. The most important thing is first impression and always the best, professional staff with most friendly service. L14 Breakfast room can be compared with a well organized breakfast buffet and freshly prepared Indian breakfast. Loved the Banana Milk, cold coffee served with flavor. L16 the relaxing area with beautiful view from the pool towards the famous garden. We would recommend this hotel, they will make your stay a memorable one… thank you so much.

The room and the service was good. The staff were continuously cleaning the other rooms in the floor. They have done a great job in keeping the room neat and clean. The view from the room in which we were staying was also really good. The staff was polite and helpful. Now coming to the ambience of the hotel. It was also kept neat and clean. Really felt like a proper 5 star hotel. Hygiene sanitation was the primary focus Then comes the food. This is the only disappointment during my stay at Renaissance. Some of the dishes like the paratha, pasta and the galoti kebab were good but most of the main course dishes especially vegetarian was a big let down. Food never looked like it was a 5 star hotel food. Although the desserts and sweet dishes were really good, the food was just average. Bring some variety especially in vegetarian, specifically starters. And the dishes should look and taste differently from other restaurants and lower rated hotels. That's what will differentiate the Renaissance food from other hotels. Also waiters at the restaurant asked for some extra dishes but took too much time to get those dishes once we were done with our food.

It was a great place to stay. The room was clean and luxurious, the sky bar pool area has beautiful views and good food, and the breakfast offered a nice variety of options. The best part may have been the staff’s eagerness to accommodate us. The bar tender at Sky Bar brought us food that wasn’t on the menu and Tanya saw to it that our 3-year-old was packed lunch for the road.

The service was terrible. Even water was promised but not delivered. Ice wasn’t delivered for hours despite repeated calls. Toilet paper wasn’t restocked. Coffee and tea wasn’t restocked. The walls were paper thin. There was a wedding going on at the time and the noise was unbearable. At 2am and at 7am! The management didn’t do much to stop the noise. Only empty promises like the ice and water. They would say “yes sir, 2 mins and then nothing. My room wasn’t serviced properly for the entire duration of my stay. The TV and kettle tray were dirty.

Can’t even expect how a five star property can treat their guests like this. Very rude and unprofessional staff, they are not at all polite, manager shouting at me and the reception is being handled by newbies or interns who are very unprofessional and if you complain then they will share their personal problems and on the other hand a event team manager from L14 with the name of Bibhor is very rude and arrogant. The calls of L14 are never received. Worst place to visit as the staff will only ignore you and treat you like you’re a peasant. Staff to manager everyone is unprofessional. Management team of the hotel and restaurant is only cutting down their guests.

The L-14 dining experience with the beautiful view of Gomti river and the park has always been very relaxing. Extremely courteous staff. Did not come across even 1 dish that wasn't good. But the grilled fish with mashed potatoes stole the show, it was lip-smacking good, the best I have had in a very very long time. Juicy with just the right amount of gentle flavoring. Highly recommended.

This experience is about the buffet meal my wife and I had today (28/02/2023) at the restaurant located on level 14. We live in Lucknow and had been visiting this restaurant now and then. Every time we had food there we came back quite satisfied. But today's experience was a big let down and resulted in huge disappointment for both of us. One does not expect such a thing from a restaurant of repute. Would earnestly request the management there to doubly ensure quality consistency keeping an eye on customer satisfaction.

My family and I were visiting the hotel today, and we were met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff member. We were very upset by the way we were treated, and we decided to leave the hotel. Being Marriot Group. Service and disasters Management is least Expected from such big brand. What Hotel management does When there is a problem n disaster is credibility testing time. Renaissance is not only failed in its service level test they actually proved that they are the worst in services.

Good hotel, but housekeeping needs more work. Tea maker, table lamp were not working. AC was not operational in Gym and hotel foyers on each floor. To be fair to hotel I was told that AC is under maintenance. Location, food and Ambience is very good. Service in restraunt needs to be improved drastically.

This was a great place. The rooms are clean and smart. Nice to see that everything works, nothing is out of order. A lot of us were staying here and none of us had any complaint about our rooms and that's quite a thing. Breakfast buffet is good and you get to have breakfast with a great view. Reception service is terrible. Been trying to make a reservation at L14 but main reception hardly ever attends the call. When they do finally pick up they simply transfer it through to reservation desk without even ensuring that the call gets attended. Ultimately nobody picks up at reservation desk and the call gets disconnected. Nobody even bothers to call back. Seems to be a common occurrence because several people I know say that they have faced similar situation at Renaissance. 21st December 8.15 p.m.

The stay was great. The staff was very attentive and professional. The work on the overall looks was good too. The only thing I disliked was the poor wifi connection. Rest, everything was pretty chill.

L-14 restaurant The service was slow. The person serving forgot noting 1 dish down and hence forgot getting it. After a long wait we asked and realised that she forgot to list it down. The food was normal. Therefore the restaurant L-14 was pretty much a disappointment.

Rooms are just like other hotels at the price. With city view you end up facing a roof top restaurant and side wall of river side mall. It was him who made our wedding stress-free, from check in to checkout of our 80+ guests was very well managed. He was just a call away for all our needs even at 2am (literally). Special thanks to Chef Ranjeet for helping us deciding the menu (which is a big task I tell you) and the best part was he would come before and after every event and ask out guests about the food and what changes they want. We have had nothing like this place as yet in Lucknow since we have Renaissance. Yes, this place is worth it. Rooftop adds spice to the beauty. Sky bar is good and the management staff treats you well. You would surely love the ambiance, however, I particularly wished if I could have something out of the league in the menu right there. But, there's always the scope for the improvement. March ahead. This place is waiting for you.

A very busy and popular hotel in Lucknow. Renaissance Hotel has probably the best views from its rooms. The hotel is new and the rooms are modern. The restaurant in the 14th floor and the terrace is a great place to spend the evenings with friends. The service is top notch and attentive. The only drawback is the lack of mask wearing by guests (but this is a casual attitude of locals, the hotel can't be blamed). Definitely one of the best hotels to stay in Lucknow.

The rooms are comfortable clean . The make or break - was a win - great hot shower with good pressure. Food was 50-50. Too spicy for my palate. And a la carte was expensive++ . Best buffet spread is breakfast. Negatives: very limited channels on tv/satellite. Sockets were difficult to plug chargers into and seemed to be low powered.

I went to the Sky Bar on the rooftop of Hotel Renaissance and ambiance wise it is a very decent place to go on a date but if you are going with friends, I would suggest you to look for another place like a club. Service wise, it is not that great. We ordered 3 dishes and easily there was a gap of almost half an hour between each dish to get to us. Also, we ordered a pizza and had to ask for Oregano and Chilli flakes at least 2-3 times and then also it only came after the pizza was all cold. And there was not even a single tissue paper on the table the whole time.

Had decent stay for 3 days in November 2021. Facility is smaller to comparable hotels in other cities. Good part is the rooms are standard sizes (large) and mine had 2 single beds. Cafeteria offers variety of options for breakfast. Due to covid, the terrace pool was closed off, but the view from 16th floor was great. There were 4 lifts on the floor, but 1 of them was having maintenance issues and was unavailable for service in quite a few occasions. The staff was helpful and courteous, no issues there.

We had snacks and coffee on the top floor adjoining the swimming pool. The food quality was not as good as it used to be. Time to introspect and ensure the quality as well as the taste, which is a mandate.

The location is perfect for lucknow. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I was unhappy with the time taken in service. The food was decent enough.

Was staying here on a business trip and because of their lazy attitude I waited for more than 30 min to get my room and ended up missing my dinner plan (since I checked in at 9pm). The lock system of the room was not working and these guys were lazy to offer me another room despite rooms being available. Not worth staying given they weren't even apologetic for the delay.

Went to work here as a special event. Rooms are good with a view of the Gomti river and hathi park. The roof top bar and restaurant are cool but shut serving at10.30 pm when I visited due to covid but didn't even budge to serve us a sandwich post that. Had to visit the mall next door for dinner.

I never recommend this hotel to any one .. worst hotel i have ever visited . I told them to send coffee mug they sent it to me after one hour . Very poor hospitality . They charged you abruptly. Don't visit here . Go any where but not here.. Hotel need more of common sense features. Rooms AC temperature not getting fixed as per your requirement. Food is generally for foreign guest, you can't expect traditional awadhi or Lucknawi food. Reception area claustrophobic design you won't feel any star hotel experience. These hotel should learn basic nuances from marriot chandigarh . Went to L14 and opted for buffet. The staff was very rude and food was cold. L14 is famous for its buffet spread, so it wouldn't hurt if they gave it some attention and not take people coming there for granted. I will really not recommend anyone going there.

I had an amazing experience here. First, what was heartwarming that they upgraded our rooms with better ones on their own on the same price. The rooms have ample space, sunlight and cooling. Secondly, the staff and their service is splendid. We, during our entire stay, did not face any difficulties. The staff was very supportive, guiding and friendly. Evrry staff member was very welcoming. Thirdly, their meals were always tasty and of good quality. The breakfasts, lunch, dinner, puddings, be it any cuisine, it was fantastic. The sales manager was also very compliant and tended to our needs fantastically. Only thing that was a bit disappointing that the swimming pool was a bit unkept and dirty. It was not clean and the filtering was slow. Overall, my stay with my family here was awesome and I would recommend to choose this hotel if you want a good experience.

I visited this place on 22nd june 2022 with my friend for a buffet dinner. They had extensive options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The chicken manchow soup was amazing. The dessert spread was also too too much. The rice pudding (kheer) was just awesome.

Had a very pleasant stay with 3 kids recently. Staff was very polite and understanding. It was a busy period around Christmas but we didnt experience any issues. Breakfast on sunday was a bit busy and took quite a while to get the hot food, which is something that could be improved imo (hence 1 star less) .. but overall we were very happy and looked after well by the hotel staff.

The hotel park facing rooms have excellent view. The adjacent Dr Ambedkar Park and the gomti nagar area can be seen properly. Always opt for that. The service is a bit slow. The rooms are spacious with modern amenities. The food is okay. Santlal from housekeeping is the most warm and welcoming staff in the entire lot. He greets you as if he has known you from ages.the L14 restaurant has good ambience and can ask to customize your dishes.

Location : Ambience : is too Good. L14 the main attraction for Dinner/lunch is main attraction. One can get awesome Views from that Place. But w.r.t Price and Then food tatse : I never found it worth. Too expensive. But the Staff and Chef are too good : So courteous one will enjoy the time there.

It's not like other big hotels who provide just coriander leaves and two boiled potatoes with some black pepper sprinkled on it. Here you will get good portion. I love to eat Biriyani here.

Don't eat the cookies if u r offered at the board meeting it won't be good else staff behaviour is gr8. They r good n helpful usually all 5* have that thing, gym facility is okay but not too big. Not much expensive, suits in the budget for parties and corporate meetings.
