A very good place of historical importance and architecture to visit with friends and family. This park constitutes of two monuments, one is the main monument and one is a relatively smaller monument on the left side of the entry gate. There's a kind-of small nursery behind the main monument and one can freely go around the monuments as the gates to go inside are generally closed. The grass lawn is great, you can sit there and talk about the stuff, play or else you can also sit and play guitar on the stairs going towards the main monument. There's no entry charge if you go in the park. The only drawback is that it is mostly surrounded by bustling traffic so attaining a peace of mind can be a little difficult.

The Tomb of Sadat Ali Khan is a great architecture heritage of Lucknow. There are two tombs of Sadat Ali and his wife Khurshid Zadi. The architecture defines beauty in its own way, the carving at arch doorways, spiral stairways, basement and rooftop view are must visit points. The Monuments are made up of special lime mortar. The best time to visit the feb, march month, day wise- morning or evening will be suitable for peak summers, and for rest any hour of the day is enjoyable there.

Near the Begum Hazrat Mahal Park there is Nawab Saadat Ali Khan’s mausoleum. It was built by Saadat Ali Khan's son to memorialize his father as nawab wazir of Oudh. The tomb was built in the best classical traditions of the Indo-Islamic style of architecture. Each of the belfries, as well as the main dome, is crowned with a graceful gilded finial. The floor inside the tomb is covered with black and white marble, which is rather rare for this part of India, due to the scarce marble resources and its extremely high price. The arched verandas on southern and eastern sides of the building house the graves of nawab's daughters and wives. Why You Should Visit: Peaceful, clean, and the beauty.

The Maqbara (Tomb) of Saadat Ali Khan is a breathtaking architectural marvel that perfectly captures the essence of Indo-Islamic design. The intricate craftsmanship on the facade, adorned with beautiful calligraphy and delicate floral patterns, exudes elegance and grandeur. The tomb's serene surroundings and well-maintained gardens create a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for reflection and appreciation of history. Visiting this historical site was truly an enriching experience that left me in awe of India's rich cultural heritage. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring the architectural gems of the past.

It's a very calm and less visited place of Lucknow. The Maqbara Sadat Ali Khan is worth exploration. There are minimal charges to have a guided visit in the tomb of Sadat Ali Khan. The monument is wrecking but when you visit the tomb inside, the feeling is unexplainable. Worth visiting place.

Two large tombs honour Nawab Sa'adat Ali Khan (1798-1814) and his wife Begum Khurshidzadi. The tombs are next to each other and can only be viewed from the outside and stand near the historical Begum Hazrat Mahal Park. Tombs of Sa'adat Ali Khan and the Begum in Lucknow is one of the most prominent and beautiful sites. These are famous twin maqbaras. Its symmetrical domes with exquisitely adorned kiosks are the eye-catchers. It is one of the very refined sites to see the brilliant architectural designs that are the quintessential examples of symmetrical measures. The Lucknow Tombs of Sa'adat Ali Khan and the Begum is located near the very gorgeous Begum Hazrat Mahal Park. Decent place to visit in Lucknow. Nearest metro station to this tomb is KD Singh Babu metro station. There are also share autos from charbag railway station/ hazratganj to parivartan chowk. From parivartan chowk this tomb is at a walking distance. This place is less visited by tourists but if anyone is near hazratganj plz do visit this place. Entry is free here. There are two tombs in this complex and both these tombs require more maintanence by the concerned authorities. Lawns and garden is decently managed in this complex. .How to Reach Saadat Ali Khan Tomb By Rail The main railway stations of Lucknow are Lucknow Junction, Badshahnagar, Gomti Nagar. All the stations are connected to most parts of the country. You can reach here easily from any corner of the country. From the station, you can take taxis (Ola, Uber, Rapido) as well as auto, local bus. Lucknow Metro is also available on some routes . Tomb of Saadat Ali Khan The complex is well maintained, an Saadat Ali Khan was the 6th emperor of Awadh. He ruled Awadh from 1798-1814. Begum Khurshid Jadi was the favorite Begum of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan and she died during the lifetime of Nawab Saheb. The tomb of Saadat Ali Khan and his wife Khurshid Zadi are one of the very few populous places amongst many in the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. Nestled in the heart of Lucknow, this place is adjoining to the Begum Hazrat Mahal Park on the Rani Laxmi Bai Road, well marked on Google Maps. This place is managed and caressed by Hussainabad Trust. Saadat Ali Khan was the 6th emperor of Oudh or Awadh reigning 1798-1814. These tombs were erected by his son Ghazi-Ud-Din Haider. The complex is well maintained, and full of lush greenery all around. As you enter, you’ll find two tombs inside— one of Saadat Ali Khan and other, of his wife Khurshid Zadi. Both of those are made of lakhauri bricks, lime mortar, and plaster to give the fine edge. √When I visited this place I was amazed by the fine artistry of the tombs (makbara). Because of the beautiful look and serenity of the architecture, it is a perfect place to hang out and have a picnic with your best people. The main tomb, of Saadat Ali, is said to be a five floors building including the basement (tehkhaana). Tomb of Begam Khurshid The tomb of consort Khurshid Zadi is also as equally beautiful as Nawab’s but just smaller in size and height. The architectural beauty is covered by gardens and flower plantations from each side, compelling you to rest your eyes on it. When I was here, the entry was closed due to some reason. Entry fees to both tombs are zero but if you want to know about the monuments, hire a guide that will cost you mere ₹20-₹50. Moreover, entry is open from sunrise to sunset for everyone. The Back-end It is said that Kaiserbagh was earlier known as Khas Bazar and this place used to be the residence of Hyder the prince, Ghazi-ud-Din. Later, after the death of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan, his tomb and Khurshid Jadi’s mausoleum was built by the son Ghazi-ud-Din Haider himself. According to historians, all the buildings from the Kaiserbagh area of Lucknow to Dilkusha Kothi were constructed during the reign of Saadat Ali. Nawab Saheb was a great lover of architecture. His love for architecture is reflected in the buildings he built. Some Important Things To Note The evening around here is beautiful, you can go for a walk with the children. There is a beautiful garden around the architecture. There is no parking. However, you can use the parking of Hazrat Mahal Park in front. What I found that this place is really photogenic. So prepare your cameras and be here to click some awesome photographs. Take special care of your things. This is a legacy, so you are requested to help keep it clean. The surrounding gardens have a walk option. The fresh breeze of the evening will take away all your fatigue. In contrast to this, Safed Baradari, Butler Park, Lakhi, Chaulakhi Gate, Hazrat Mahal Park, etc. are located at some steps away, you can also visit there. There is no entry fee or ticket to visit here.

The tombs of Saadat Ali Khan and Khurshid Zadi are grand in their own right, and visiting them can be a delightful experience. Both these tombs, which are one of the popular tourist attractions in Lucknow, are known for their intricate architecture and the garden surrounding them. Located in close proximity to the Begum Hazrat Mahal Park (built in 1962 to commemorate her contribution to the revolt of 1857), the tomb houses the 5th Nawab of Awadh, Saadat Ali Khan, and his wife, Khurshid Zadi. She was the favourite wife of the Nawab and died during his lifetime. Saadat Ali Khan was the ruler of Awadh from 1794-1814 AD, and many of the heritage buildings dotting the area between Qaisar Bagh and Dilkusha can be credited to him. During this time, the British ruled large parts of Lucknow and were becoming more powerful with each passing day. It is quite easy to overlook this wonderful memorial amidst other heritage buildings in the city like Chota Imambara and Bara Imambara. However, it is only upon visiting the tombs that you find out what you were missing out on. The tomb of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan and Khurshid Zadi are counted among the best places to visit in Lucknow. Their architecture has a lot to do with that. While its facade is decorated with lime plaster, the walls are built using Lakhuri bricks (red colored burnt clay bricks) while sandstone has been used for the floors. Upon entering the tomb, you come across rectangular verandahs with intricately carved arched doorways. Of these, those on the southern and eastern side contain the graves of the daughters and wives of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan. The floor of the tomb has also been given an elegant look, thanks to the black and white marble tiles laid out in a chess like pattern. Among the other features of the tomb, its hemispherical dome deserves a special mention. It attracts the attention of the onlookers with its symmetrical shape and is topped by an inverted lotus and a finial. In the center of the hall, there is an elegant rectangular design which marks the exact place where the tomb of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan rests. Head towards the basement and you come across three graves, one of the Nawab and the other two of his brothers. The tomb of Khurshid Zadi is located to the east of the Nawab’s tomb. Although it is a four level structure, the graves of the mother and daughter rest at the lowest level. On the corners of the domes are octagonal shaped chhatris, which embellish its beauty. The tombs, which make for great sightseeing in Lucknow, are surrounded by beautiful gardens and are great for enjoying some moments of peace and solitude.

The mausoleum (maqbara / tomb) was constructed by Nawab Ghaziuddin Haider (ruled 1814-27), the 7th Nawab Wazir of Awadh on the grave of his father Nawab Saadat Ali Khan, the 6th Nawab Wazir of Awadh (ruled 1798-1814). It is a brick masonry octagonal structure constructed on a high platform with small burnt clay bricks (lakhori bricks) and lime mortar and decorated with lime plaster. The floor is made of black and white marble. Nawab's three wives and three daughters are also buried in this mausoleum. A small Imambara is also there in mausoleum (tomb). The Tomb of Khurshid zadi (also known as Mushir zadi), wife of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan is also situated at about 50 metres away in the same complex)
