Food is good at Royal, they are specialist in south Indian food. Staff is also supportive. Situated in Jamalpur market. You should go once if like South Indian food.

This restaurant has authentic taste of South India. I wish they had more variety of South Indian food like gobhi manchuri. It's a good place for family gatherings as well as kitty parties. It's located on the main road and easy to locate.

Can't think of a better Vegetarian restaurant in Ludhiana serving South Indian dishes . Loved the Medu Vada, Dosa Uttappa, Rava Dosa ... With the chutney & Sambhar it had the authentic South Indian Taste. The Curd rice was good... The Filter Coffee.. wow it was to good. Service was prompt, Spacious, Neat & clean restaurant. Rates were reasonable too. Value for money. Added attraction is the Ayappa Temple very close, built in typical Kerala style architecture.

I am not happy with the filter coffee... that's not at all authentic South Indian flavour.... and kindly cut the vegetable pieces small in sambhar....

Worst food i have eaten ever, got hair in food, least hygienic, top of that restaurant manager didn't even bother about it and didn't change the food, and said it was not human hair it was coconut hair they think we are fool and don't know difference between human hair and coconut hair when we left full food on table then they made bill of complete order placed. Worst food worst management. Instead of apology they kept quiet.

This place gives you authentic flavour of the south indian dosa.. We have tried butter masala dosa, and the service was really quick, also the sambhar was really good.

The worst place..Even we were a regular customer till the day we came to know that they don't throw or pack the food already on the table. They mix that food with other and serve other customers. We asked them to pack the extra Sambhar that was on our table but they said they can't do that so we asked them why they will waste the food instead of packing but to our shock they said we dont throw this out instead will mix this Sambhar with other and serve someone else. How can you mix and serve something that is already on table. It could be left over or defiled bowl. Yuk!!! Never ever go there until you want to taste the leftover by others.

I Ordered Butter masala dosa and i was really excited for the dosa within 2 minutes i got the dosa i was like the service is awesome but when i tasted it the stuffing is full of salt salt and salt . I complained to the owner but she was like no sir aisa nhi ho sakta .

First experience worst experience Had ordered takeaway. Firstly it was ready in around 35 min. When reached home and opened it, it was different from what i had ordered. So returned all the food as it is and got my money back.

South Indian food is good. Northern Indian thali is also nice and 1 is enough for two people. We liked dosa and idli sambar but uttapam and Vada were not so good.

Food is great, quality has surely improved and the taste is now much more better. Definitely worth a visit. Expect around 5-15 minutes of waiting. Items I found good- South Indian food Dal makhni and paneer Hakka noodles I haven't tried more items but these were good.

Taste was good everytime but last time dosa and sambhar even chutneys had no taste , As a regular visitor feel disappointed ,will never visit again .

Initially when they newly open, food was amazing quality was really good. Our family was visiting this place almost every week twice. But last 2-3 visits we have noticed mentioned things: 1. Food quality degraded to quite an extent. 2. Salt seems on higher side. 3. Too much usage of oil. 4. Idlis were sour when served. These guys have good potential must say but they need to maintain quality ofcourse. P.S. - I will surely be visiting this place again hope they improvise. Will update here once satisfied.

Best location In Ludhiana Best food in Ludhiana One more branch Must open in Nawanshahr. Dosa and samber is really awesome. I think royal south is much better than Sagar ratna. Rates are also less than Sagar ratna And quality is much better than sagar ratna

EASILY the best South Indian food option in the city! Excellent customer service, clean and hygienic, and amazingly still affordable. But most importantly- food soo good you are going to LICK YOUR FINGERS CLEAN. 10/10 recommended.
