The Bistro has an outstanding location facing the sea. The landscape is marvellous during winter, still I bet it's as enjoyable in summer. The good bit is the food is as good as the sights out of the windows. The gnocchi starter I ordered featured a well thought mix of tastes; the reindeer was outstanding too, its cooking time was perfect for my taste.

Well prepared and presented dishes with a northern Sweden profile. Nice decor and friendly service.

Nice place for dinner. Reindeer dishes are quite successful. Creamy dreamy cream brûlée. Good selection of wine. Have been here for lunch more than 5 times but cannot say it is the best.

We have been there several evenings and every time we had a great time. The staff is very professional and helpful and the restaurant, even full, doesn't feel crowded because the tables are not too close to each other and the decoration is well thought. The food is always great as well, the search in flavors and textures is worth a try. Altough, last time we felt that the vegan dessert option was a very small portion and not really thought through for the price we paid for. Overall it was a great experience that still deserves 5 stars and we recommand it.

Every summer we go to Bistron and it’s a great experience every time. This summer was actually slightly better than last year, much thanks to the splendid waiter. Very kind, speedy, attentive and knowledgeable – nothing to complain about really. The cocktails seem to have been updated – maybe there is a new bartender? – with contemporary ingredients such as whey, wine acids, chili oil, grilled peach etc. Nonetheless they were likeable and really tasty! The food was on fleek – everything was cooked to perfection and flavors were high. We had tuna, entrecôte, and lamb that all were delicious. The only negatives were the mussels that were a bit too spicy and bland and the outdoor heating which was way too hot. Regardless, I highly recommend Bistron.

We visit the Restaurant twice during our holiday. The first time we had the slow cooked moose, the jokmok charcuterie and for dessert the chocolate sorbet. All dishes were cleverly put together and tasted very good. On our second visit we had the moose tartare as also beef tartare, Swedish entrecote and the seafood plateau. Again, everything was very good. Due to my own mistake, I had to send back the seafood Plateau (no cold sea food for me)... There was no charge for it! Great food, great service & great ambience right on the pier facing the Baltic Sea. Thank You for having us. We definitely recommend the Bistron.

Amazing food. We had the char fillet, seafood platter, moose stew and different desserts, and every dish was delicious. Highly recommended.

Great food and nice ambience in central Luleå. The quality of food was impressive, I had one of the best tartar ever and a fantastic entrecôte. And the top was seeing the northern light over the Barbour when we left!

When Location meets excellent Food and great service you'll get a perfect match. The food is as good as the Location. Bring your Love ones or a Friend and Enjoy a nice meal.

This is a great restaurant with a good menu. They have a lot of different beers and wine as well. It is right by the water so you can hear and smell the ocean while eating. Very polite and good staff.

Bistro combined the best of Swedish Lapland with modern fare and love entertainment (some nights). We created a "tasting menu" with the langustine bisque, charcuterie plate, 1/2 order of mussels, and the Arctic Char dinner. Very well done.

Excellent food and service! Best in Luleå! We enjoyed all our three courses menu and the wine pairing with the main dish was great! Portion and price were spot on! Easy to park just behind the restaurant with great outdoor seating next to water. Highly recommended!!

I meant to do this review a year ago. I was in the area for work and Bistro Norrland staff are by far among the best I have had in my travels. Their mixologists were incredibly knowledgeable and adventurous. Their head chef runs an excellent menu, and serves top end dishes. Their wait staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Whenever I visit Sweden again, Lulea will certainly be one of my stops just for Bistro Norrland.
