Updated 7/22 Sad to post this update of one of my fav Lumb spots but how hard is a takeout order straight off the menu with a simple request for the hot salsa with the chips? No language issue because the young lady spoke better English than me but somehow she got the straight entree wrong AND I get this mess home, settle down with a beverage and my chips and got canned tomatoes to dip 'em into. This is the second time they've gotten a simple take out order so messed up I didn't bother to finish it. Going to have to find another fav Mexican restaurant or get shift schedule of the manager so a simple take out order might go out right. Update 4-22 I still love this place. Always get curbside because of a disability. The orders always correct with the chips and salsa. Everything's packaged well for travel. No unexpected spills in the car. INITIAL REVIEW And the food's great too! The guy that takes the orders always there and always friendly over the phone. Lunch or dinner order. Not sure if he's the owner. But if he just works there he needs a raise. 🎉🌯🌮🎉🙌🙌🤜🤛

My husband and I ordered takeout, We got the ACP and steak quesadillas... When we called the order in the man who answered the phone was so cheerful.. my husband went to pick it up and said they were so friendly. The chicken and steak were so tender and flavorful, and it was SO fresh.. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal !

Great customer service and great food .

This place used to be good but my last meal there was not impressive. Five dollars for a bottle of beer? I'll pay that if the food is good but it wasn't. I'll never go back.

There is plenty of parking including handicap ♿️. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere inviting. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. This visit was during the weekend and they were not very busy. The server was friendly and keep our tea glasses were always full. 😊

Food was terrible. The little bit of meat was overly salty, the rice soggy and tasteless. Was very disappointed. That's other seasoning besides salt.

My food was fresh and very delicious..I loved it..some restaurants use meat that was cooked in the morning. All day..my steak was freshly cooked Seasoned to perfection I will be back

Food wasn’t close to be ok 😩, I order a chile relleno, a taco and beans and it wasn’t even close to look like a Chile relleno at all, taste was disgusting, and frijoles taste like garlic, I was expecting to receive a Mexican taco but it was a crunchy taco 😕, for kids menu they have a taco with rice and beans, the waitress does told me it was a crunchy taco which she does kindly change to a asada taco, my daughter and husband both order carne asada and it was salty, the agua fresca tamarind flavor was too sweet 😩 and it just have a little tamarind taste, waitress was very kind though and frequently asking if everything was ok, I do mention that I was expecting to received a Chile relleno when she brings the food and she said that what I have in my plate was the Chile, make sure to ask what comes with the food so you don’t be surprised and disappointed like me.

This place!!!! OMG!!! So good!! I definitely recommend this place for Mexican food.. delish!!!

With an unprofessional manager who refused to fix my order or adjust the bill for the inconvenience. We will not be back to wait over an hour as a 1st customer and get the whole entire order wrong again. Bc of a Spanish only speaking server who took my order, but other 2 servers are bilingual. Why are they taking orders from Spanish speaking customers only. Made my daughter wait hungry and only to come over with nothing but her arms crossed. This specific female manager not in charge their will call for much more business and satisfied customers....

We had our waiter running n sweating like crazy ordering so much. He did an awesome job of taking care of my whole party, didn't complain not once, and remembered us all from last time. Well be back again next month to celebrate them March birthdays. Thank you for such great service. We had a blast tonight.

We ordered to go. Staff were all drinking/drunk. Order was not correct and we didn't realize until we made it home and they were closed. The beans had a chemical taste. We've eaten here before and gave five stars but not at all pleased with this visit.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was very laid back the ladies that waited on me very friendly food was good the salsa they serve with chips needs improvement I would eat there again

The tacos that I ordered were extremely bland and had little to no flavor. My son ordered the mixed fajitas dish and said that the chicken was bland. The staff that we had interactions with were friendly. The food is just okay.

Not a mexican Restaurant. Just a boring diner that takes an hour to get your order. Over controlling owner who can't even clean behind the register. Reminded me of "it could happen to you" at least clean up some.

Glad there is another choice in Bladenboro. I enjoy the food and the fact I don't have to drive 15 to 20 miles to get dinner. The girls that work there are so sweet.

The waitress was AWESOME, sadly I don't remember her name. She was very helpful when my wife's overcooked steak was delivered. She rolled her eyes at the kitchen. We liked her more. I asked for a "table salsa" that is much more spicy then the normal stuff. Most gringos say it's too spicy. I thought it was made from excellent roasted chilies, just the right amount of cilantro, onions, and other delights I couldn't identify. If you are into hotter salsas, ask for this. My entrée was ceviche, something I usually love. This one came with cucumbers, something I've never had before. It turns out that humble ole cucumbers actually have strong flavor when included with shrimp. I managed to pick around the cucumbers and enjoyed the ceviche. Bottom line, my wife probably wouldn't want to come back. But I wouldn't mind going again. There are a lot more things on the menu. We ended up tipping the waitress 50%, she was worth it.

The staff is wonderful. The food is OK nothing to call home about.😂

Some what to be desired. Prices reasonable. But service was off. At the end of our our meal. Notice cracks in the plate that was very visual. So not understanding why we received our dip on this plate. Pointed this out to the waitress. Please have your employees to do serve safe classes.

A friend and myself come here a couple times a month, we like to get the chicken quesadillas with fries and it's always delicious. When they bring you the chips ask for some queso because it takes them to another level.
